A Detailed analysis of single statements corroborates more and more our conviction that the elements of Hindu mentality (viz. philosophy, religion, and fine arts) are subject to certain fixed and common rules of thinking. If we acknowledge any one analytical method—of course the most general possible—as sufficient and adequate, we can presume that whatever may at any time be the object of our analysis must follow the method adopted. If we accept as a principle for the veracity of all judgments that they must be subjected to the rule of sapakṣe sattva and vipakṣe asattva, then the analysis will show that in reality all statements are measurable under the aspect of those two criteria. The only breach in this principle was made by a Jaina logical school which, while anticipating the principles of our “implication”, admits the syllogism fulfilling the anyathānupapannatva condition, i.e. it accepts as true conditional sentences of which the protasis does not reach beyond the sphere of the predicated subject (pakṣa). In other words: the argument, when predicating a fact, forms a true sentence, even if it does not predicate the class to which the fact belongs. Whilst the Buddhist syllogism oscillates between class inference and sentence calculus (sapakṣa and vipakṣa being the necessary conditions), the Jaina syllogism advances exclusively the sentence calculus, and the validity of the predication is confined merely to the implication in question.

An analytical method using UHPLC-MS was developed and applied to 16 crude CH2Cl2 extracts from Australian Celastraceae plants; the endemic plant materials were accessed from Griffith University’s NatureBank resource and included bark, fruit, leaf, root, twig and mixed samples, all of which were collected from Queensland, Australia. The generated UHPLC-MS data were analysed and dereplicated using the scientific databases Dictionary of Natural Products and SciFinder Scholar in order to potentially identify new dihydro-β-agarofurans from local Celastraceae plants. These investigations led to the large-scale extraction and isolation work on a prioritised fruit sample that belonged to the rainforest plant Denhamia celastroides. Chemical investigations resulted in the purification of four new natural products, denhaminols O–R (1–4), along with the related and known compound, denhaminol G (5). The structures of all the new compounds were determined via detailed analysis of NMR and MS data.

This study aimed to examine the influence of external and internal motivation on employee performance in TK Budi Mulia Dua Pandeansari. The sample in this study were all employees in TK Budi Mulia Dua Pandeansari. Samples were collected using a total sampling. There were 50 respondents who have met the necessary conditions. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that the external and internal motivation effect on employee performance. The results of multiple regression analysis showed that the variables of external and internal motivation have coefficient of 0.703 and 0.450. The results showed that the external and internal motivation has given Adjusted R Square of 0.575 or 57.5%.

Emic and etic are the terms taken from linguistics, but they have become widespread in other fields of humanities, especially anthropology. According to the most general definition, emic approach implies studying behaviours in culture according to its internal categories, whereas etic approach uses external, objective points of reference for this purpose. From the time the concept was created in the 1950s, numerous researchers from different fields have tried to adapt and redefine these two terms so as to use them in their work. The present article attempts to apply both emic and etic approaches within one coherent analytical method. It presents its theoretical fundamentals and proposes a list of six elements that an emic-etic analysis should include. The article focuses on the use of the concept of emics and etics in the theory of music, but the suggested method may also be used for an analysis of other types of culture texts such as music pieces, literary texts, and even fine arts works. The example used in the article is the emic-etic analysis of Letters about music by Michał Kleofas Ogiński, which has shown that the method seems fruitful from the perspective of an analyser, yet it is flawed in terms of objectivity. Therefore, the author does not recommend it as a main method for academic research, but he suggests it could be an auxiliary method and a new tool for the education of school and university-level students. The present article is a shortened version of the BA thesis entitled Emic-Etic Analysis Exemplified On M. K. Ogiński’s “Lettres sur la musique”, defended at the Department of Composition and Theory of Music, The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, in June 2021.

In this paper, we make a detailed analysis of the structure of non-oscillatory solutions for second order superlinear and sublinear dynamic equations on time scales. The sufficient and necessary conditions for existence of non-oscillatory solutions are presented.

Abstract. Electron microprobe analyses and element distribution images of a Rotaliammina test from Funafuti, S. W. Pacific, are presented. Detailed analysis of both spiral and umbilical surfaces shows that the earliest chambers are richest in organic components, and that the brown coloration of the test correlates with amount of organic material (“tectin”) rather than with iron content. The peripheral flange is shown to be similar in composition to the agglutinant-rich spiral surface of the last chamber. The example serves to illustrate a useful analytical method which has application to the study of the structure and composition of the wall of agglutinating foraminifera in general.

The purpose of the article is to study the principles of synergy in the work of the sixties as a novelty of Ukrainian art, analysis of common intentions, and creative achievements in the creation of new dogmas of Ukrainian culture. The research methodology is based on the analytical method, which consists of the study of historical, art, and cultural sources. Cultural-historical - to consider the general state of Ukrainian fine arts, cinema, theater, the literary direction of the period, art history - provides an analysis of the phenomenon in an artistic context. The scientific novelty lies in the identification of common features in the work of cultural figures of the 1960s, their comparison, and analysis of the synergy of their activities. Conclusion. The principles of the synergy of artists of the late 1950 - 1960s are revealed, their ideological and artistic factors in the creation of Ukrainian art are highlighted.

A general analytical method is presented for determination of the hydrodynamic entrance length of ducts of arbitrary cross section. Only knowledge of the fully developed velocity profile is required in order to determine this length in comparison to other approaches which require a detailed analysis of the flow development. This method is applied to circular, elliptical, annular, rectangular, and triangular ducts with numerical results presented.

This paper analyses the impact of unexpected diesel tank leak in the non-normal conditions on groundwater, on the basis of a detailed analysis of hydrogeological conditions of a power plant, using the analytical method of solute transport in groundwater, combining with the DTM module of MapGIS spatial analysis. The results show that if leakage of diesel tank lasts 5 years, the maximum influence range of pollution halo is 0.204 km2 and the farthest impact distance is 660m.

This article debates democracy and the key elements of a democratic system. For this purpose, some of the internationally reputed authors and experts have been quoted. There is no universally accepted definition of democracy but most of the intellectuals and scholars are agreed that in democracy the supreme authority is vested in the hands of the people who exercise it through their elected representatives. The paper adopted qualitative, historical, and analytical method. The scholar has undergone an extensive study of available literature such as books, journals articles, newspapers and internet sources to make this study more commendable and get it become visible for the future scholars. The paper is based on qualitative study as it discusses facts for finding the truth. Democracy cannot flourish without certain necessary conditions. The focus of the paper is on the fundamental’s elements of democracy each of which is a basic condition for the success of democratic type of government everywhere.
