SummaryThe article presents a brief description of a series of integrated studies on the communication style and way of life of individual personalities, bearers of the basic personality systems, provisionally called synthetic-reflective and analytic-active. A set of psychological, psycho-linguistic and sociological methods has helped investigate the ways of communication behaviour of a number of individuals in various kinds of communication (small social groups, binary interpersonal communication between spouses and close friends, communication with objects of culture and spending leisure time). Correlations were drawn between the communication activity and the components of the basic personality system.

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze factors that affect communication families of migrant workers, the level of relations of parents and children in a migrant worker family communication, and communication styles of communication parents in families of migrant workers in the district of Indramayu district Sliyeg. The benefits and outcomes of this research is an article that would be presented as a study in the scientific journal, both the national level and international level, as well as teaching material in several courses ie Interpersonal Communication and Social Communication Development.The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative method, with research areas in the District Indramayu regency Sliyeg persuasive selection. The collection of data obtained through questionnaires, interviews and observations of respondents as many as 40 heads of families of migrant workers.The results showed that the characteristics of the heads of families of migrant workers, namely age, education level, occupation, income level, number of children and the number of dependents is the driving factor that causes him to allow his wife to become migrant workers. The physical environment and the social environment are important factors that affect patterns of interaction and communication patterns of families of migrant workers. Level relationships of parents and children in a migrant worker family communication going pretty well. Style of parent communication in communication families of migrant workers support their mutual communication between parents and children.

As an important tool to influence stakeholders’ perception, leader messages, subsumed under public relations discourse, play an integral role in corporate communication. Drawing on the analysis of linguistic move structure and communication styles employed by researchers, this study adopts a multidimensional framework by using both discourse and quantitative analysis to compare how leaders in Global 500 corporations in China and the United States rely upon specific linguistic features to engage stakeholders in corporate discourse published on their websites. The results show pertinent differences in communication styles, where Chinese corporations tend to be more instrumental, elaborate and competitive while US corporations are more affective, succinct and harmonious. These observations depart from previous findings on interpersonal communication styles in cross-cultural research. This study also extends the boundary of corporate genre analysis by suggesting that the moves adopted in the structure of corporate messages are highly specific to the particular genre.

Research on leadership and teams suggests that men and women exhibit different leadership and interpersonal communication styles. A review of literature and a survey of students in upper-level business communication courses at Central Mis souri State University provide evidence for five strategies to assist students in deal ing with team-interaction situations: 1. Instruct students in techniques to avoid groupthink and to promote and handle competition 2. Offer students ideas on and methods for reaching agreement in a timely manner 3. Vary the subject of group writing assignments to allow each student to be per ceived as an expert 4. Encourage all students to be active participants in the group process 5. Emphasize the importance of good writing skills to both males and females Finally, further research is needed regarding the "natural leader" role, the role of competition in groups, and the effect of perceptions of tasks as either "feminine" or "masculine."

Interpersonal relationships depend on: linguistic competence (biologically determined), communicative competence (socioculturally determined), knowledge of the principles of effective interpersonal communication and personal skills of interpersonal communication. As it turns out, the potential of linguistic knowledge, knowledge of the rules of communication and the effectiveness of their application are necessary, but insufficient. Interpersonal skills become the element that ensures the achievement of a better level of cooperation.Interpersonal relationships in the group/team are also due to: intellectual and emotional interaction of team members, group norms, a common goal, social structure of the team (social roles), a sense of originality of the team in relation to other groups. The effectiveness of the activities carried out by the team depends largely on the interpersonal relationships in the work team. Establishing these relationships and improving them is possible through the author's training «Interpersonal relationships in the team».The article presents the theoretical purpose of the author's training, which allows establishing interpersonal relationships in the work team; cognitive purpose in terms of describing the author's training and analysis of its components; practical purpose in terms of establishing interpersonal relationships that have developed in the work team, analysis of difficulties in establishing and maintaining proper interpersonal relationships, measures aimed at eliminating or minimizing incorrect interpersonal relationships, when it is necessary for the benefit of the team and its effectiveness; recommendations to the head of the working team on the application of author's workshop.Key words: interpersonal communication; interpersonal relations; working team; communication styles in the organization; workshop.

Abstract Clinical supervisors are faced with supervising students who represent differences from “traditional” students that include spoken language, dialect, interpersonal communication styles, and attitudes. The training of culturally and linguistically diverse (CLD) speech-language pathologists is therefore a priority in order to serve the growing CLD population. The issues of cultural and linguistic diversity present major challenges for the clinical training of student clinicians. The need to develop specific styles and guidelines relating to supervision of CLD students is critical. This paper highlights concepts used in a supervision model designed for use with CLD student clinicians.
