The research aimed to identify the role of job enrichment with dimensions (diversity of skills, autonomy, and feedback), on job performance of the administrative employees at Aqaba Jordan customs. The study population consisted of all 213 administrative employees. The researcher applied the descriptive- analytical approach, where questionnaire forms were distributed to a random sample of 138 employees, while131 forms were responded by a response rate of 94.9%. SPSS was applied to analyze data. The study concluded that there was a positive significant relationship between the dimensions of job enrichment and job performance of employees at Aqaba Jordan Customs, which confirms the need to pay more attention to this administrative approach in order to improve the level of job performance of employees in organizations in general.

This study aims at measuring the impact of organisational memory (OM) on competitive strategies in information technology (IT) companies in King Hussein Business Park (KHBP) in Amman, the capital of Jordan. KHBP comprises of 20 companies, which will form the research population. A random sample was chosen with the sampling unit constituting of 63 out of originally 74 senior employees. The study adopted a descriptive analytical approach and a structured questionnaire was used as a study tool for the purpose of measuring the variables of the study. The outcomes of the study show that OM and its processes (knowledge acquisition, retention, and retrieval) have an impact on both types of competitive strategies (differentiation and lower cost strategies) in Jordan's IT companies. The study presented key recommendations such as: enhancing the role of OM in IT companies given its clear impact on competitive strategies; carrying out additional studies on OM to look deeper into its dimensions, processes, justifications, hindrances, and strategies.

CRISPR systems are known to be inhibited by unwanted secondary structures that form within the guide RNA (gRNA). The minimum free energy of predicted secondary structures has been used in prediction algorithms. However, the types of structures as well as the degree to which a predicted structure can inhibit Cas9/gRNA activity is not well characterized. Here we perform a meta-analysis of published CRISPR-Cas9 datasets to better understand the role of secondary structures in inhibiting gRNA activity. We identify two inhibitory structures and provide estimated free energy cutoffs at which they become impactful. Further, we identify the prevalence of these structures in existing datasets. The cutoffs provided help to explain conflicting impacts of free energy values in different datasets as well as providing a guideline for future gRNA designs.

This research aims to know the degree of influence of coordination between units and administrative departments in commercial companies on the effectiveness of purchase in addition to identifying the concept, goals, the importance of coordination between administrative units, the relationship between them and between other administrative processes and identifying the dimensions of purchasing effectiveness and the impact of each dimension on achieving the company's goals. This research is based on the descriptive analytical approach, where research and empirical study has been carried out in the references of business administration and operations that clarify the role of the coordination process between administrative units on the effectiveness of purchasing. The most important results are there is a correlation between the coordination variable and some of the dimensions of the variable of purchasing effectiveness in the commercial companies from which the sample was taken, but it is a very weak and may lack in some dimensions like the correlation between coordination and competitive advantage is absent. Most of the employees in commercial companies can work in a company that lacks administrative coordination due to their highest value is the monthly salary. The most important recommendations are work to enhance the importance of administrative coordination between administrative units in commercial companies. Recruiting coordinators who perform all the coordination processes needed by the administrative units in the commercial companies.

As temporary waqf has a positive role in serving the welfare of societies, especially those which took organized steps to benefit from it, this research aims to find the means and mechanisms of funding it. This will have a positive role in the development of society which has problems in finding mechanisms to finance the temporary endowment, and how to employ them for this development. The research will use practical experiences to identify these mechanisms. Also, in order to understand the role of temporary waqf for social development, the researchers will use the inductive method through reading books, articles, and classical and modern scholarly researches, and the analytical approach to discover the impact of temporary waqf on the various fields of society.

Two studies examined the impact of macrolevel symbolic threat on intergroup attitudes. In Study 1 (N = 71), participants exposed to a macrosymbolic threat (vs. nonsymbolic threat and neutral topic) reported less support toward social policies concerning gay men, an outgroup whose stereotypes implies a threat to values, but not toward welfare recipients, a social group whose stereotypes do not imply a threat to values. Study 2 (N = 78) showed that, whereas macrolevel symbolic threat led to less favorable attitudes toward gay men, macroeconomic threat led to less favorable attitudes toward Asians, an outgroup whose stereotypes imply an economic threat. These findings are discussed in terms of their implications for understanding the role of a general climate of threat in shaping intergroup attitudes.
