The article covers issues related to the study of physical and mechanical characteristics of bulk materials, namely the coefficients of external friction in static and dynamic modes. The program, methodology and results of research on the practical study of external friction coefficients of typical agricultural grain products by the surfaces made of materials typical for the working bodies of production machines, using an innovative carousel-type device, are presented. As a result of research, it was found that in the range of linear speeds from 0 to 1.75 m/s, there is a change in the friction coefficients, which has a nonlinear character.

The article is devoted to the study of the coefficients of external friction of grain agricultural products-friction in static and dynamic modes, as the most important physical and mechanical characteristics of bulk materials. The description of carousel laboratory unit, program, methodology and results of studies on the practical determination of the coefficients of external friction for typical agricultural grain products according to the materials typical of the working bodies of the production machines. As a result of the research, it was found that in the range of linear velocities from 0 to 1.75 m/s, there is a change in the friction coefficients, which has a nonlinear character.

The article highlights the issues related to the study of physical and mechanical characteristics of bulk materials, namely internal friction coefficients in static and dynamic modes. An innovative device of the carousel type for determining the frictional characteristics of bulk materials is described, which allows to implement the tasks of practical determination of dynamic coefficients of internal friction. Presented the program, methodology and results of research on the practical study of the internal friction coefficient of typical bulk products of agricultural production in the range of linear velocities of displacement of layers from 0 to 2.79 m/s, the reliability of which is not lower than 0.878.

The article presents a methodology for calculating the force effect on a fibrous suspension of working bodies in a centrifugal grinding apparatus. The aim of the research is to calculate the force per tooth of an inertial body at different speeds of rotation of the rotor, to determine the effect of the circumferential speed of movement of inertial bodies on the grinding process of fibrous semi-finished products. The article discusses the mechanism of grinding on a centrifugal knife grinding apparatus, determines the tangential shear forces at the contact of the grinding satellite knives with the grinding bowl knives, determines the effect on the fiber of rolling friction forces and sliding friction forces when the grinding satellite knives come into contact with the grinding bowl knives, as well as the effect of specific pressure at the point of contact of the satellite knives with the grinding bowl knives under the influence of inertial forces. Based on the research results, it is scientifically substantiated that the forces arising at the minimum of the considered values of the rotation speed of inertial bodies are sufficient to break the fiber when using this installation for grinding fibrous semi-finished products. An increase in the speed of rotation of the satellites causes a positive change in the physical and mechanical characteristics of the finished castings.

Described the experimental setup and presents the results of theoretical and experimental analytical studies of structural characteristics (coefficient of fully wood - porosity or the porosity) and physico-mechanical properties (coefficients of internal and external friction) of the materials crushed wood, a generalization which allowed us to obtain the calculated dependences for determination of their size by volume of bunkers axisymmetric geometry.

The use of condensed extract in the production of corn feed contributes to the improvement of their nutritional and biological value. The rheological properties of the feed material are of great importance in the mechanical interaction with the working bodies of the machines, in the movement of viscous media along technological conveyors, as well as in the intensification of heat exchange processes. The technique, laboratory equipment and the results of studies of physical and mechanical characteristics of corn feed are presented. The viscosity properties of the corn extract are investigated depending on the temperature. It is shown that when decreasing the temperature, the viscosity of the corn extract increases due to the aggregation of its components, which characterizes the non-Newtonian flow of the extract. The coefficient of external friction of the pulp and extract mixture in the technology of preparing corn feed allows calculating the geometry of the storage tanks and energy costs of the processes. The change in the coefficients of friction of corn feed when interacting with various surfaces, depending on the content of dry substances. The specific heat capacity, thermal conductivity and thermal diffusivity of the extract and corn feed were determined and investigated. It has been revealed that the dependences of the thermo-physical parameters of the extract and corn feed on the solids content are non-linear in nature, monotonously decreasing when increasing the concentration of solids.

The problem of increasing the bearing capacity of the base is an relevant problem in modern geotechnical construction. When significant loads are transmitted to the base, the use of traditional technologies is not always justified. Often there is an urgent need to use non-standard ways to strengthen the bases. In many cases, the geotechnical situation is aggravated by the presence of weak underlying layers with unstable physical and mechanical characteristics in engineering-geological sections. When strengthening such bases with the help of traditional piles, the latter can get negative friction, which significantly reduces their bearing capacity on the ground, sometimes reaching zero values. This may lead to additional precipitations of the objects being constructed and constructed in the zone of geotechnical influence. The use of ERT piles in most cases successfully solves many complex geotechnical problems.

Purpose. Increasing the uniformity of distribution of mineral fertilizers and other bulk materials due to the stability of their feed from the body to the spreading working bodies using the top feeder. Methods. The following methods are used to achieve this aim: the method of comparing the differences between individual groups of fertilizers, the method of analyzing the properties of a new technical system, the method of functional inventiveness, and the methods of theoretical and analytical mechanics. Results. The traction body of the conveyor of the upper feed of the body fat body machine for mineral fertilizers and other bulk materials was substantiated and the relationship between the height of its scrapers and the distance between them was established, as well as the nature of the mineral fertilizer pressure on the curvilinear wall of the body. In addition, the design of the advanced body fertilizer spreader is justified, which ensures a stable flow of fertilizers from the body due to the improvement of the top feeder. Conclusions. Because of the conducted researches, the advantages of machines equipped with top feeder are found. They create the conditions for the forced feeding mineral fertilizers and other loose materials from the container to the distribution bodies, which is a prerequisite for their evenness on the surface. With this, the imperfection of known machines with the top feeder constrains their introduction into agricultural production. On this account, a more thoroughly constructed solution of the body feeder of the top feed is substantiated, in which the conveyor provides a stable supply of fertilizers from the body with reduced energy consumption during operation. The paper considers possibilities of using a hybrid fabric made of high-modulus carbon yarn brand ZhGV and high-strength aramid yarns brand Rusar-NT for polymer composites reinforcement. The results of studies of the physical and mechanical characteristics of hybrid composite material and values of the implementation of the strength and elasticity carbon fibers and aramid module for composite material are presented.
