The agrobiological and ampelographic characteristics of the Donus interspecific grape variety are given. A variety of universal use, average ripening period, the duration of the production period for 2010-2019 was 146 days with the sum of active temperatures 3297 0C. The variety is characterized by high winter hardiness. With a sum negative temperature of 586 0C and an absolute minimum of minus 25 0C, the live buds from 49% to 72.8%. Fruit shoots 90-100%, fruitfulness ratio 1.8. Yield / bush ≥ 6.9 kg with a planting pattern of 3 m × 1.5 m. It has bisexual flower, clusters of medium density, cylindro-conical with 1 -2 wings, weighing 212 g. The berry is oval, greenish-yellow, weighing about 3 g. The parameters of the berry are 14.6 × 13.4 mm. The pulp is juicy with muscat aroma. Differs in moderate sugar accumulation with moderate acidity. Resistance to mildew and oidium is high. The variety has been defined as a donor of mildew resistance. It is used for the production of juices, dry and sparkling wines, fresh consumption. The wine degustation evaluation is on average 8.5 points on a ten-point scale. The Donus is a perspective variety for commercial vitiviniculturel.

Приводятся экспериментальные данные по агробиологической реакции винограда сорта Памяти Учителя столового направления использования на изменение нагрузки кустов побегами и гроздями. Полевые исследования выполнены в Центральной агроэкологической зоне виноградарства Краснодарского края. Cхема посадки кустов - 3,5 × 3,5 м, формировка кустов - высокоштамбовый двуплечий кордон, подвой Берландиери × Рипариа SО4. Среднегодовая температура воздуха 12,5-13,0 °С, сумма активных температур 3900-4100 °С, максимальная температура во время вегетации - плюс 40°С, минимальная зимой опускается до минус 30 °С. Годовая сумма атмосферных осадков - 700-800 мм. Почвы малогумусные выщелоченные мощные черноземы. В таких агроэкологических условиях сорт показал высокую отзывчивость на оптимизацию нагрузки кустов побегами и гроздями. При нагрузке кустов побегами 18 шт./куст и гроздями 25 шт./куст средняя масса грозди достигает наибольшей величины и составляет 0,625 кг. Наибольшая урожайность товарного винограда (10,9 т/га) формируется при нагрузке кустов побегами и гроздями в количестве 24 и 44 шт./куст соответственно. При таких регламентах нагрузки кустов гроздь массой 0,393 кг имеет привлекательный товарный вид. Оптимизированный регламент нагрузки кустов побегами и гроздями в количестве 24 и 44 шт./куст рекомендуется применять в Центральной агроэкологической зоне виноградарства Краснодарского края для выращивания высоких урожаев сорта Памяти Учителя на подвое Берландиери × Рипариа SО4. The experimental records on agrobiological response of the ‘Pamyati Uchitelya’ table grape variety to changes in the loading of bushes with shoots and bunches are presented. Filed experiments were carried out in the Central agroecological viticultural zone of the Krasnodar Territory. The planting pattern of bushes is 3.5 × 3.5 m, the training system - a high-bole bilateral cordon, the rootstock - ‘Berlandieri × Riparia SO4’. The average annual air temperature of the zone is 12.5-13.0 °C, the sum of active temperatures is 3900-4100 °C, the maximum air temperature during the growing season is +40 °C, the minimum air temperature in winter goes to -30°C. The annual total precipitation is 700-800 mm. The soils are low-humus, leached deep chernozems. The variety showed heavy response to optimization of bush loading with shoots and bunches under these agroecological conditions. When bushes are loaded with shoots of 18 pcs/bush and bunches of 25 pcs/bush, the average bunch weight reaches the highest value of 0.625 kg. The highest cropping capacity of commercial grapes (10.9 t/ha) is achieved with loading of bushes with shoots and bunches in the amount of 24 and 44 pcs/bush, respectively. With such regulations of bush loading, a bunch of 0.393 kg has attractive marketable presentation. The optimized regulation of bush loading with shoots and bunches in the amount of 24 and 44 pcs/bush is recommended for using in the Central agroecological viticultural zone of the Krasnodar Territory for growing high yields of the ‘Pamyati Uchitelya’ variety on the ‘Berlandieri × Riparia SO4’ rootstock.

Аbstract. The agrobiological characteristic of Platovsky grape varietyhas been given. The variety was bred in ARRIV&W - a branch of the FSBSI FRARC as a result of crossbreeding of varieties Zala dyondye (Villar Blank × Csaba dyondye )× Podarok Magarach (Rkatsiteli × Magarach 2-57-72). The variety was included in the State Register of Breeding Achievements for Use in 2003. The technical purpose of use, very early maturation, the duration of the production period is on average 110 days with the sum of active temperatures of 2499 °C. The variety is character-ized by high winter hardiness and frost resistance. At the sum of negative temperatures 586 °C the opening of the buds was 86%, the fruit shoots - from 70 to 97. m The harvest of 1 bush is on average for 11 years 5,7 kg with the planting scheme of 3 × 1,5. Platovsky is distinguished by a good sugar-accumulation (up to 300 g/dm3) with moderate acidity and used for high quality dry and liquor wines. Resistance to mildew and oidium is very high, which allows to cultivate the variety with minimal protection from fungal diseases and use grapes for the production of bio wine.

Preserving rare grapes is not just a matter of variety. Recent dna research has shown that unusual and unknown grape varieties provide clues to wine history. During the centuries, 525 Georgian grape varieties had been known but most of them were degenerated. Nowadays, more than 437 rare Georgian vine varieties are preserved in the geo 038 collection of Agricultural Research-Scientific Center, established in 2014 under the Environment Protection and agriculture ministry. Study of the genetic pool of Georgian grape varieties determine the sustainability of the sector and enrichment of the modern wine market. For this reason the studies of the rare aboriginal grape varieties have begun by their ampelography, phenology, chemical, and oeno-caprological characterizes. The aim of this study is to investigate rare, Georgian, aboriginal wine-grapes by their ampelography, chemical and oenolo-caprological characterizes, and to offer different style and aroma wines to the market, enriching the modern wine assortment. The present study investigated firstly the rare Georgian aboriginal grape variety (Chvitiluri) by its characterizes. In this study grapes caprologycal indication, dynamic development of the sugar accumulation, TA and pH in berries, polyphenols extract in skin and seeds, and phenolic compounds were determined. The grape has been compared with Georgian and French wine-grapes and their products as well. The results show that the grape variety - Chvitiluri, and vinification technique (aging on lee) have the significant impact on the total phenol content in wine. White varietal wine contents high alcohol 13,2%, total phenols 733-500mg/l. Wine has specific, varietal characterizes color, taste, aroma. This study indicates that the rare local, aboriginal variety presents the perspective sort for wine production and can be returned in wine production.

An urgent task of today for grape growers is to find effective ways to achieve the compliance of conditional parameters to phenolic ripeness of grapes while maintaining high cropping capacity. In this study the influence of foliar treatment of grapes with nitrogen-containing preparations "Siamino Pro 500" on productivity and phenolic maturity of ‘Cabernet-Sauvignon’ grape variety was investigated. Studies were carried out during 2018-2019. Grape maturity degree was assessed by the Glories method, based on the determining of the total and extractable anthocyanin potential of grapes. It was shown that, as a result of the experimental scheme of processing, the cropping capacity increased by 10- 14%, as well as the bunch weight - by 13 - 16%. Use of the preparation contributed to the onset of technical maturity of grapes at the earlier period compared to the control. The content of anthocyanins extracted from the skins was 49- 56%. Experimental grape samples were characterized by a higher content of titratable acids (by 1.4 and 1.2 g/l) and a lower sugar accumulation (by 9 and 16 g/l). Positive influence of the experimental scheme of processing on organoleptic properties of wines was observed.

The purpose of the research is to study the autochthonous Georgian grape variety Grdzelmtevana in the Pridonie region to identify the adaptive, economic and technological potential in comparison with the control Riesling Rhine variety. The studies were carried out at the Donskaya ampelography collection YA.I. Potapenko (Novocherkassk, Russia) in 2016–2020 Agrobiological using modern and classical study methods. The wines were prepared according to the classic technology of winemaking for dry white wines. On the basis of the conducted studies it was concluded that the Grdzelmtevana grape variety adapted well in the Pridonie region, has high rates of buds break and an average bunch weight. It surpasses the control grape variety in terms of productivity by twice as much and at the wherein has a higher  accumulation sugar of grapes berries and optimal titratable acidity of berry juice for obtaining high quality table dry white wines. Degustation evaluation oа wine is 8,6 points ( for 10 point scale). Therefore, the Grdzelmtevana grape variety introduction into the State Register of Grapes for the Pridonie region will diversify the assortment of wine products, satisfying different consumer tastes.

The newest Karsky grape variety, complexly stable with colored pulp and juice, was bred in Greece in 2014 by crossing the Ommonia varieties with a mixture of pollen from the EFIAGE-3 and EFIAGE-4 varieties. The duration of the production period is 146-155 days. Vigor of shoot growth is strong (2.1-3.0 m.). The yield is high. The average weight of a bunch is 180 g. It is characterized by high winter hardiness, drought resistance and increased resistance to fungal diseases. The flower is hermaphrodite. Cylindrical-conical bunch of medium density. The berry is small, round, blue-black in color with a thick waxy bloom. The skin is firm and firm. Intensely colored pulp and juice with varietal flavor. The sugar content is very high. The variety is intended for the production of intensely colored wines of various categories, high-quality juices, suitable for the production of grape vodka.

The article presents the results of studies, carried out in 2018-2020 in soil and climatic conditions of viticultural zone of the South Coast of Crimea on wine grape variety ‘Cabernet-Sauvignon’. It was established that double application of national chelated micronutrient fertilizers Tiaton and Chelaton Extra for foliar dressing of grapes contributed to an increase in the average bunch weight by 9.3-15.3 g (10.3-16.9%), shoot productivity by 10.4-17.1% and cropping power by 0.6-1 t/ha (10-16.7%) in comparison with the control. It was experimentally determined that test treatments with Chelaton Extra preparation led to a significant increase in the average length of annual shoots by 13.3 cm (9.3%) and a gain in the green matter of bushes by 265.9 cm3 (12%). Using of the studied micronutrient fertilizers against the background of increased grape productivity positively influenced the process of sugar accumulation and ensured the value component at the control level. The studies have proven that double treatment with Chelaton Extra fertilizer contributed to an increase in the mass concentration of phenolic substances in wine by 10.7%.

Nowadays, table grape consumers prefer seedless grape varieties, so the market promotion of seedless varieties continues at a rapid pace. Responding to consumer preferences, the breeders have developed numerous various-flavour seedless varieties with large berries and bunches. The study purpose is to assess the prospects of cultivation and use in breeding of a new seedless Regal Seedless grape variety bred in South Africa. By origin, this is an intraspecific hybrid of the species V. vinifera L., with an early middle ripening period. The author carried out the variety study to assess agrobiological, economically valuable traits and properties and compiled a short ampelographic description. The study was carried out in 2017–2019 at the experimental vineyard of Ya.I. Potapenko All-Russian Research Institute for Viticulture and Winemaking – Branch of Federal Rostov Agricultural Research Center. The study focuses on non-irrigated covered and grafted vineyards, the Kober 5BB rootstock, the planting pattern of 3 × 1.5 m, and a fan-shaping thankless bush. As to a set of positive parameters (yield, high vendebility, natural seedlessness without the use of gibberellin, large size characteristics, and good taste), the Regal Seedless variety is of certain interest for industrial viticulture, and this variety can also be recommended for use in further breeding as a source of seedless and large berries. According to preliminary studies, the ripened berries of this variety should not be kept long on the bush to prevent peel browning and deterioration in vendebility. The variety is recommended as a highly commercial table grape without the PPP use, but it is not suitable for the production of raisins due to insufficient sugar accumulation. It is recommended that the variety should be grown in areas of sufficient moisture or as an irrigated crop.

Abstract Twenty-three new Romanian table grapes varieties were analysed for their phenological behaviour, quantitative characteristics (bunch weight, berry weight, their length and width, grape yield), sugar accumulation, titratable acidity, and ºBrix / acid ratio during three consecutive years (2015-2017). The higher temperatures recorded during the study period determined an advance in the development of the main phenophases, especially the grapes’ harvest maturity. Absolute minimum temperatures during winter, damaging the vine, have significantly affected grape yield. As a consequence of earlier phenology and lower yields due to frost damage, harvest was advanced between 2 and 4 weeks than the average. The results obtained in this study favoured five remarkable genotypes for their very good quality of grape (‘Victoria’, ‘Tamina’, ‘Xenia’, ‘Napoca’ and ‘Augusta’). These varieties are distinguished by the highest values for bunch and berry weight (between 300-500 g and 5.5-8.4 g, respectively), berries’ size uniformity, the sugar content between 15.45-21.53 ºBrix and balanced ºBrix / acid ratio. Lately, the high temperatures during the grape maturation period have led to increased accumulations of sugar in berries, to reduced acidity, which affects the sugar-acidity balance; a more careful choice of grape harvest time is needed.

Селекционерами Института «Магарач» создан новый бессемянный сорт винограда столового направления использования Альбина. Элитная форма, оформленная как новый сорт винограда, выделена из популяции сеянцев комбинации скрещивания Мускат Джим × Ромулус в 1996 году. В статье представлены основные ампелографические и биолого-хозяйственные параметры, которыми характеризуется новый перспективный сорт: средний срок созревания (25.08), продукционный период - 132 дня. Рекомендуемая форма куста - кордон на среднем штамбе. Нагрузка 6 глазков на рожке (4 рожка). Схема посадки - 3 х 1,5 м. Профилактические обработки против грибных болезней - 3-4 раза за сезон. Содержание в ягодах при технологической зрелости: сахаров - 20,3 г/100см, титруемых кислот - 6,3 г/дм. Урожай рекомендуется использовать для потребления в свежем виде. Дегустационная оценка свежего винограда - 8,47 балла. Selection breeders of the Institute Magarach have created a new seedless table grape variety ‘Albina’. The elite form, registered as a new grape variety, was isolated in 1996 from seedling population of the ‘Muscat Jim × Romulus’ cross combination. The article presents main ampelographic, biological and economic parameters typical for new promising cultivar: mid-ripening date (25.08), production period - 132 days. The recommended bush training technique is a medium trunk cordon. Loading is 6 eyes on a cane (4 canes). Planting scheme is 3 x 1.5 m. Preventive treatment against fungal diseases - 3-4 times per season. The content of sugars in technologically ripe berries is 20.3g/100cm, of titratable acids - 6.3g/dm. The crop yield is recommended for fresh consumption. Tasting evaluation of fresh grapes is 8.47 points.
