The riverside green space is an important ecologically sensitive area which connecting urban space and the river. The traditional landscape design method to create riverside green space can no longer meet the requirements of the concept of an ecological city. In recent years, the spongy city concept that has emerged in China which has provided new research ideas for the landscape design of riverside green spaces. Based on the characteristics of endogenous runoff type riverside green space, this paper takes the sponge system of the green space on the north bank of the Yaojiang River as the research object, analysed it’s design strategy, and summarizes the design process and method of the sponge system. The purpose is to provide a reference for the design of the sponge system of the endogenous runoff type riverside green space in the future.

The green space of students’ living area is an important part of Chinese university campus. It has a close relationship with students’ daily life, study and amusement. In recent years, as the campus has been being newly-built or rebuilt, green spaces in students’ living area have been greatly improved. However, a survey shows that many students are not satisfied with these green spaces. In order to find out problems existing in landscape design of these green spaces, this paper, from the perspective of environmental psychology, investigated and analyzed students’ behaviors and corresponding psychology in these green spaces by taking Chang’an campus of a university in Xi’an as a case. On this basis, this paper attempts to conclude experiences and lessons in designing green spaces of students’ living area, and hopes to provide some useful references for the design of campus landscape.

Intensive urban development has created a shortage of urban green areas. The need to economically plan and use urban green spaces has fueled the redefinition of public spaces and parks so as to provide the residents with both recreation and relaxation facilities, as well as a forum for contact with culture. This paper discusses the case of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in the Kallithea district on the outskirts of Athens, near the Mediterranean Sea. It fills a gap in the research on the aspects of the practical functioning of such facilities. The methodology used in the research included an analysis of the literature, the SNFCC’s reports, and an in situ survey. The cultural center hosts a number of events aimed at promoting Greece’s natural and cultural heritage. The paper includes a detailed analysis of the events organized by the SNFCC in the period 2017–2020 and their immense impact on residents. The aim of the study is to show that the creation of the SNFCC with the park areas has functioned as a factor contributing to the improvement of the quality of urban space and the quality of life of the city’s inhabitants. The paper’s conclusions indicate that the sustainable SNFCC project, which fulfils the urban ecology criteria, has been very well received by the visitors—citizens and tourists alike. A program-centered innovation introduced by the SN Park has added great value to their lives. The project contributes to economic and cultural growth, as well as the protection and promotion of heritage.

The authors, with the awareness that climate change affects and changes the landscape, wanted to investigate how these changes are occurring within the metropolitan area of Tehran. Trying to keep a holistic method that embraces different disciplines, reasoning from large scale to small scale, the authors tried to study the main problems related to water scarcity and loss of green spaces. Subsequently they dedicated themselves to the identification of the present and missing ecosystem services, so that they could be used in the best possible way as tools for subsequent design choices. From the analysis obtained, the authors have created a masterplan with the desire to ensure a specific natural capital, the welfare of ecosystem services, and at the same time suggest good water management practices. It becomes essential to add an ecological accounting to the economic accounting, giving dignity to the natural system and the ecosystem services that derive from it.

This paper focuses on the design strategy of roof gardens, analyzes the relationship between aerial greening from the overall shape of urban space, and discusses the greening spots effect of “stepping stones” in urban greenways. Taking the green corrider between the green space of the Yangtze River wetland and the green space of the Laoshan Mountain as a sample, the roof garden is analyzed as the impact of the stepping stones of the birds on the urban space shape control and height control. Afterwards, it researches the modular technology which can be adapted to building various types of roof gardens.

The West BSD area is an area that will become CBD BSD where most of the land use is commercial and residential. In this area, if it becomes a CBD area, it will have few green spaces. With circumstances like this can trigger stress in the community. This project seeks to reduce stress as well as provide a new green space for this area where later in this project has a place for interaction between people as well as interactions with nature (plants). Using the self-sustaining method is a big concept of this project. This concept is applied to urban farming activities where people can grow crops, care for plants until harvesting, then the harvest can be sold or used as ingredients in restaurants. The remaining seeds can be planted again to make new crops. Using a program of activities like this can reduce human stress which at the same time enlivens nature (green). By using the application of the biophilic design method in the Back To Nature: Community Garden project, efforts are made to create a good communal space for people who can carry out activities such as planting plants, working, gathering, etc. And with this it is hoped that the project can provide a forum for the community to carry out activities in the fields of interest, especially planting plants, caring for plants, as well as activities around them. Keywords: Back To Nature: Community Garden; provision of green space; reducing stress; interaction; biophilic designAbstrakKawasan BSD Barat adalah kawasan yang akan menjadi CBD BSD dimana kebanyakan tata guna lahannya adalah komersial dan perumahan.

IntroductionGreen space in the built environment is an important topic on the health agenda today. Studies have shown that access to green spaces is associated with better mental and physical health, yet green spaces can also be detrimental to health if they are not managed appropriately. Despite the increasing interest in urban green spaces, little research has so far been conducted into the links between green spaces and cancer.ObjectiveThe purpose of this scoping review is therefore to map the literature available on the types of relationship between urban green spaces and cancer.Method and analysisWe followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis Protocols 2015 guideline to report the protocol. To conduct this scoping review, we will use a structured search strategy based on controlled vocabulary and relevant key terms related to green space, urban space and cancer. We will search MEDLINE (PubMed), GreenFILE (EBSCOhost), Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (EBSCOhost) and ScienceDirect as electronic database as well as hand-search publications for grey literature. This review will therefore provide evidence on this current topic, one which could have practical implications for policy-makers involved in choices which are more conducive to healthy living.Ethics and disseminationNo primary data will be collected since all data that will be presented in this review are based on published articles and publicly available documents, and therefore ethics committee approval is not a requirement. The findings of this review will be presented at workshops and conferences, and will be submitted for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.

Abstract: One of the lasting impacts of the COVID-19 crisis undisputedly is changes in the way people use public spaces including green spaces. Some people despite the social isolation rules still often visit public green spaces to maintain their well-being. This study aimed to rethink how green spaces as a sociable place can be more adaptable to fulfill the new needs of people which have arisen due to the pandemic. Direct-structured observation and semi-structured interviews with purposive sampling were conducted in the park located in Batam, Indonesia. It was revealed that the use of this park as a sociable place has prioritized most on ‘relaxation’ behaviours at one time, followed by ‘affiliation’ and ‘interaction’ behaviours after the pandemic strikes. The ‘affiliation’ activities, nevertheless, were interestingly the top reason for people visiting this park more frequently in a week. The proposed post-pandemic concept of the park as a sociable green space was subsequently conceived around the circulation, furniture, and activity settings with several design strategies as a response to the key issues concerning the social behaviours and health protocol system in this park.

Sofar, studies on labour migration in Vietnam have often focused on domestic migration, international migration, refugee migration, force migration; ignored the cross – border undocumented migration. At the North Central Coast provinces: Ha Tinh, Nghe An, many rural workers always choose Thailand as the destination because of convenience transport and seeking job easily. However, the lack of supplying labour official or contract papers legally, they often faced to risks and uncertainties. This paper aims to provide an analysis of these undocumented migration flows from Vietnam to Thailand by indepth interview and participant observation methods. The main issues in this article include: (1) describes the risks of Vietnamese workers through employment, housing, legal status in Thailand and (2) analysis the coping – risk strategies of Vietnamese workers in Thailand. Inside these, express on the renewal and completion of visa such as a special trick helps them respond to risky types. Finally, the article contributes to the development of new research directions on policies for these undocumented migrant workers.
