Energy consumption is always concerned by China government, from 11th five years plan, central government and departments are trying to deduce the energy consumption and CO2 emission. Massive energy were consumed by industry boiler that pointed out by investigation of energy in China industry, standards for boilers, specially energy efficiency standards are always considered to be a key approach to reduce energy consumption and promote high energy efficiency technology. From the results of survey, industry boiler energy efficiency standards are indeed useful to reduce energy consume. In this paper, we try to research on China industry boilers energy efficiency standards, based on that we concluded the system of China industry boiler energy efficiency standards, and listed all the index of those energy efficiency standards which force to comply. It is very useful to make everyone to understand China industry boiler, and industry boiler energy efficiency standards.

One-stage pre-cooled mixture refrigerant cycle can be applied in small-scale LNG plant and be special suitable for skit mounted LNG plant. It has different character with the C3MR cycle used in large-scale LNG plant. The optimization of the mixture refrigerant is carried out using HYSYS software. The effect of the main process parameters on the performance of the cycle is calculated and discussed. The result shows that appropriate ranges of the process parameters exist. Higher and lower values of the parameters will increase the energy consumption significantly. The results also indicate that the optimization of the one-stage pre-cooled mixture refrigerant cycle can obtain rather high energy efficiency that is competitive with that of the SMR which is widely employed in small-scale LNG plant.

The residential sector in Libya has grown over the past decade in the construction of residential buildings due to the increase in the population. Moreover, the increase in the level of income has contributed to the increase in the purchase of household appliances, which leads to increased demand for energy. Energy consumption in the household sector accounted for 31% of total energy consumption during 2010, and the share of air conditioners in this sector consumed 18.35%. To reduce energy consumption and improve energy efficiency in this sector, policies should be considered to apply energy efficiency standards and markers to household electrical appliances, as they are considered one of the most successful programs used in the world. Countries are implementing such programs to reduce energy consumption in the domestic sector. This paper presents the possibility of implementing such programs to introduce the importance of energy efficiency standards and labeling programs for home appliances in Libya. The calculations required to design such programs show the energy savings that can be achieved during cooling loads in the summer period of 4 months July, August, September). A strategic plan has been developed during 10-year (2020-2030) to estimate the expected savings of energy consumed and to identify possible obstacles and difficulties by gradually increasing the energy efficiency ratio for comestic air conditioners in two stages, from EER10 to EER11 in the first stage is then raised to EER12 as the second stage.

In order to solve problems of high energy consumption and poor indoor thermal comfort in existing rural residential buildings, Tianjin city developed Tianjin energy efficiency standard for rural residential buildings, the building envelope insulation technique in the standard-including determination of heat transfer coefficient, principle of choosing insulation materials for building envelope, energy efficiency standards of walls, windows, and roofs are unscrambled particularly in this paper. It is suggested that natural materials and appropriate techniques are used to achieve the energy-saving goal for rural residential buildings with minimum energy consumption.

In Body Sensor Networks (BSNs), two types of events should be addressed: periodic and emergency events. Traffic rate is usually low during periodic observation, and becomes very high upon emergency. One of the main and challenging requirements of BSNs is to design Medium Access Control (MAC) protocols that guarantee immediate and reliable transmission of data in emergency situations, while maintaining high energy efficiency in non-emergency conditions. In this paper, we propose a new emergency aware hybrid DTDMA/DS-CDMA protocol that can accommodate BSN traffic variations by addressing emergency and periodic traffic requirements. It takes advantage of the high delay efficiency of DS-CDMA in traffic burst, and the high energy efficiency of DTDMA in periodic traffic. The proposed scheme is evaluated in terms of delay, packet drop percentage, and energy consumption. Different OPNET simulations are performed for various number of nodes carrying emergency data, and for various payload sizes. The protocol performance is compared to other existing hybrid protocols. Results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the others in terms of delay and packet drop percentage for different number of nodes carrying emergency data, as well as for different payload sizes. It also offers the highest energy efficiency during periodic observation, while adjusting the energy consumption during emergency by assigning spreading codes only to nodes holding emergency data.

High energy efficiency and increasing the working frequency of the converter will make it possible to minimize the size of the cooling system and reduce energy consumption. The use of the SiC technology in propulsion drives increases the efficiency of the converter by 1÷1.5%. Simultaneously, higher working frequency reduces losses in the traction motor, significantly lowering the cost of the energy consumed by the vehicle. Auxiliary converters using the SiC technology are a new quality. The reduction of weight and size is very significant (ca. 40÷50%). Higher switching frequency reduces the size of magnetic components (ca. 80%), and higher converter efficiency minimizes the size of the cooling system. The overall efficiency of the converter is extremely high (94÷96%). This paper presents comparison of Si and SiC parameters which are important for modern EV solutions. Paper presents also parameters of SiC traction inverter and auxiliary converter, designed and manufactured as state-of-the-art product for modern electric bus.

Abstract:: Activated peroxide systems are formed by adding so-called bleach activators to aqueous solution of hydrogen peroxide, developed in the seventies of the last century for use in domestic laundry for their high energy efficiency and introduced at the beginning of the 21st century to the textile industry as an approach toward overcoming the extensive energy consumption in bleaching. In activated peroxide systems, bleach activators undergo perhydrolysis to generate more kinetically active peracids that enable bleaching under milder conditions while hydrolysis of bleach activators and decomposition of peracids may occur as side reactions to weaken the bleaching efficiency. This mini-review aims to summarize these competitive reactions in activated peroxide systems and their influence on bleaching performance.

Current consumption of cloud computing has attracted more and more attention of scholars. The research on Hadoop as a cloud platform and its energy consumption has also received considerable attention from scholars. This paper presents a method to measure the energy consumption of jobs that run on Hadoop, and this method is used to measure the effectiveness of the implementation of periodic tasks on the platform of Hadoop. Combining with the current mainstream of energy estimate formula to conduct further analysis, this paper has reached a conclusion as how to reduce energy consumption of Hadoop by adjusting the split size or using appropriate size of workers (servers). Finally, experiments show the effectiveness of these methods as being energy-saving strategies and verify the feasibility of the methods for the measurement of periodic tasks at the same time.
