The present study was conducted to identify the reasons in modern information society that caused significant changes in the labor market particularly in its industrial structure through the perspective of individuals employed in real and service sectors. The analysis of the employed population`s statistical sample by economic activity type in enlarged groups of industrial and non-industrial spheres of activity over the past 20 years has shown that scientific and technological transformations have led to a significant shift in the employment structure. The research used statistical data comparison of economic activity types and the ratio of the regions employed in real and service sectors. New types of economic activity are emerging and start prevailing inherent exclusively in the current state of economy in the context of digitalization. A significant structural shift has been revealed in the course of the analysis of the employed population by the enlarged industry affiliation, which demonstrates diametrically opposite positions in the overall structure of employment. The resulting ratio allows us to propose and apply the coefficient of the employment structure, demonstrating a multiplier effect on identifying such jobs creation and preservation of which leads to further employment provisioning. The obtained tool allows managing population employment as well as related social and economic processes as migration outflow and population growth in all age groups, population reproduction, expansion and improvement of educational and health services in a particular territory. In addition, application of the developed employment structure tool allows estimating the amount of investment required to solve these issues.

AbstractEntrepreneurship understood as a manifestation of economic activity is an issue widely discussed in literature, especially in the field of economics. Today, a large part of society is involved in establishing and running a business, hence the shaping of entrepreneurial behaviors gains importance among all age groups, especially young people. The main objective of the conducted research was to examine the interest in starting their own business by students and to verify whether the direction of their studies or role in the group affects the students’ willingness to start a business and whether a family member runs a business influences this interest and moreover, whether capital and the idea are the two main criteria conditioning the decision.. The conclusions were based on a study, i.e. (mainly) the cross-analysis of data collected as part of a survey conducted among students of the University of Information Technology and Management in Rzeszów.

The National Population Census 2011 showed that over 2 million of Polish citizens have been temporarily staying abroad for at least 3 months. The aim of analysis is to present an impact of temporary emigration on the present and future demographic situation of our country, especially the change in the population size and number of births, as well as the advancement of aging process in the coming years. The results of the census 2011 indicate that the population losses due to temporary emigration may exceed 10% in the age groups 25–29 and 30–34. The results for 2014–2050 based on the CSO modified forecast including temporary emigration and immigration show a relevant decrease in the number of population at the age of economic activity. The possible return of emigrants could counteract the depopulation of our country, but in the long run will be intensified by the aging of the population.

New-onset refractory status epilepticus (NORSE) is a clinical presentation, not a specific diagnosis, in a patient without active epilepsy or other preexisting relevant neurologic disorder, with new onset of refractory status epilepticus (RSE) that does not resolve after 2 or more rescue medications, without a clear acute or active structural, toxic, or metabolic cause. Febrile infection-related epilepsy syndrome is a subset of NORSE in which fever began at least 24 hours prior to the RSE. Both terms apply to all age groups. Until recently, NORSE was a poorly recognized entity without a consistent definition or approach to care. We review the current state of knowledge in NORSE and propose a roadmap for future collaborative research. Research investigating NORSE should prioritize the following 4 domains: (1) clinical features, etiology, and pathophysiology; (2) treatment; (3) adult and pediatric evaluation and management approaches; and (4) public advocacy, professional education, and family support. We consider international collaboration and multicenter research crucial in achieving these goals.

Today, a vast amount of tools exist to measure development in early childhood in a variety of domains such as motor, cognition, or language. These tools vary in different aspects. Either children are examined by a trained experimenter, or caregivers fill out questionnaires. The tools are applied in the controlled setting of a laboratory or in the children's natural environment. While these tools provide a detailed picture of the current state of children’s development, they are at the same time subject to a number of constraints. The measurement of an individual child's change of different skills over time requires high-density longitudinal assessments. These assessments are time-consuming, often need experts to be performed, and the breadth of developmental domains assessed remains limited. Here, we present a novel tool to assess the development of different skills in different domains, a smartphone-based developmental diary app (the kleineWeltentdecker App, henceforth referred to as the APP. Note that the German expression “kleine Weltententdecker“ can be translated as “young world explorers“.). By using the APP, parents can track changes in their children's skills during development. Here, we report the construction and validation of the questionnaires embedded in the APP as well as the technical details. Empirical validations with children of different age groups confirmed the robustness of the different measures implemented in the APP. In addition, we report a few preliminary findings, for example, on children's communicative development by using preliminary APP data. This substantiates the validity of the assessment. With the APP, we put a portable tool for the longitudinal documentation of individual children’s development in every caregiver's pocket, worldwide.

When we talk about economic development, we can refer to improve the standard of living and the prosperity of the population. This is due by increasing per capita income. In order to analyze economic activity, severe indicators must be studied, namely productivity, economic growth rate, labour force share, gross domestic product. In order to carry out as accurate an analysis as possible, it is required to discover the bottlenecks and problems that Region 2 South East makes and to develop a set of reservations and indications leading to the reduction and, why not, the removal of negative aspects. The main purpose of this work is to achieve a strategic plan by studying the current state and the impact of the economic system in recent times in all its forms, with a view to the development of the countryside of Region 2 South – East. I set out to create a website based on the advice of small rural entrepreneurs that evolves gathering information in realistically identifying all the strengths and concentrating them in the region’s potential innovation.
