This study aims to find out the application of kaizen, the impact felt by the employees in applying kaizen and the customers’ feedback on kaizen products that have been implemented to improve the after sales service of PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang general repair workshop. This study was conducted by using qualitative research method in analyzing the application of kaizen.The method of data collection was carried out by conducting observation and documentation. The data collection method to find out the impact that employees feel and the customers’feedback on kaizen products that have been implemented used the direct interview method with 4 employees who have applied kaizen and 5 customers who have experienced kaizen products. The results of this study indicate that the application of kaizen in PT Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang general repair workshop has run well. The impact felt by the employees is also good, the employees become more satisfied at work. The feedback given by the customers for kaizenthat has been conducted is very good. Kaizen makes the customers more comfortable and satisfied with the services provided to themselves and their vehicles.

This research aims to formulate marketing strategy to increase visitors of Gembira Loka Garden and Zoo (KRKB Gembira Loka) in Yogyakarta. This research is qualitative research and uses interview, observation, and documentation as data collection method. The data is analyzed by using SWOT analysis with internal and external variable identification. The internal variable shows that location is the main strength of Gembira Loka KRKB with 0.17 by value and 5 by rating. From external variable, the result of EFAS table shows that Gembira Loka KRKB has good enough chance while the thread has less result than the chance. Gembira Loka KRKB is in quadrant 1, which is the position in which a company is considered to be in a beneficial situation due to its chance and strength. In such case, the company can utilize the chance by maximizing the strength. The following strategy to go through in this condition is supporting aggressive planning.

The use of image elicitation methods has been recognised in qualitative research for some time; however, the use of mood boards to prompt participant discussion is currently an under-researched area. This article explores the use of mood boards as a data collection method in qualitative research. Used in design disciplines mood boards allow designers to interpret and communicate complex or abstract aspects of a design brief. In this study, I utilise mood boards as being part creative visual method and part image elicitation device. The use of mood boards is explained here in the context of a research project exploring masculinity and men’s reflexivity. In this article, I consider the benefits of utilising this method in researching reflexivity and gender before offering a critical appraisal of this method and inviting others to explore how mood boards might enhance research projects involving elicitation.

Job satisfaction is an individual positive attitude in general towards his/her job. In order for the employee to have high job satisfaction, an organization needs to take attention factors which influencing job satisfaction. The research aims to find out the impact of leadership and compensation towards employee’s job satisfaction. In addition also to find out the bigger or stronger impact from both variables towards employee’s job satisfaction. The research was conducted at PT. Bank Bukopin (Persero) Tbk. branch of Denpasar. From the previous researches, the typology development of Batu City ecotourism potency  (Budiyanto, 2006), ecotourism potency of Canggar (Budiyanto, 2005-a). Nevertheless, the technical for ecotourism development industries in Batu City based on policy perspective has not been explored further. For this reason, this research aims at finding the the development of Batu City ecotourism in policy perspective. To achieve this aim, the scopes of this research is the technical for ecotourism development industries in Batu City based on policy perspective. The design of research used in this research is qualitative research (fenomenologys). The subject is adalah Batu City Planing dan Development Office and Batu City Tourism Office. The data collection method used is documentation and interview. The data was analyzed qualitatively (Content Analysis) by means of interactive model from Miles and Huberman (Miles & Huberman, 1994). The result of the analysis was presented in the form of cross tabulation and the narration from the phenomena. From the research finding the technical for ecotourism development industries in Batu City bassed on policy perspective included The International Ecotoursm Society and Mader is good. Generaly The International Ecotourism Society and Mader indicator was development in policy perspective.

This study aims to analyze the STEM approach in learning to strengthen the scientific literacy of students. The method used in this research is qualitative research with data collection techniques, namely literature studies. The data collection method is by reading, identifying, and analyzing, then categorizing, classifying, and describing. In this research, the study of relevant journals, articles, are used to find out how to increase students’ science literacy by using STEM in elementary schools.   Based on the results of research, the literature study states that the use of STEM-based learning effectively improves the student's science literacy.  The results of the research analysis showed that the results of the pretest scores of students had low concept understanding in the experimental class and the control class. After being given treatment, the results of the posttest scores showed a significant increase in the experimental class

E-learning requires students to study the material that has been uploaded to Schoology app independently. It also included independent and open discussion among students under the guidance of the lecturer in charge. The purpose of this research is to describe student independence in entrepreneurial learning using integrated entrepreneurship video in Schoology LMS application. It is a qualitative research which describes student independence in terms of learning, answering questions, and peer reviewing. This research was conducted from March to September 2019, involving 26 students as the informants. The data collection method used was participatory; the researchers played a key role as lecturers. The results of the study show that students can download an open the application easily. They did the tasks on time, learned the material (in the form of PowerPoint slide) on new entrepreneurial product ideas, learned the videos, conveyed general ideas, answered psychomotor questions after learning the videos, and conduct peer reviewing independently. In general, students learned entrepreneurship through videos in Schoology LMS application independently.

Calcutta Rescue (CR) is a medium-sized NGO based in Kolkata, India that focuses on supporting the residents of the city’s slums. In 2019, CR launched its first multidimensional poverty survey seeking to understand the degree to which, and in what ways, the populations they work with were deprived. It was hoped that this would also contribute to the measurement of the impact of their interventions. This piece introduces and discusses the composition of the survey and the data collection method. It then presents some of the results, and discusses how they are informing, and will inform, CR’s work.

The Impact

The Covid-19 pandemic has had an impact on the tourism industry around the world. In Bali, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic resulted in the tourism industry, especially the hotel business being very down. Badung Regency, which is a barometer for Bali tourism as well as having the highest number of star hotels in Bali, has been hit hard by the Covid-19 situation. This research data collection method through distributing questionnaires online using google form. The number of star hotels in this study were 30 sample hotels. The samples in this study are grouped into two clusters, namely (1) stars hotel cluster 1,2,3, (2) stars hotel cluster 4 and 5. The results show that the efforts made by star hotels in each cluster are quite diverse, the grouping of these efforts is divided into several categories, among others, marketing, finance, human resources and CHSE-based health protocols.
