Literacy is required in the 4.0 industrial revolution and education in Indonesia. However, the real condition indicated that the integration of literacy in science learning of the science teachers was still limited. The solution of this problem is assisting the partner in writing science thematic learning material by integrating new literacy and disaster literacy. The objective of assisting is to improve competency of science teachers in writing thematic learning material. The target of the assisting activity was the teachers in science MGMP in Agam district. Methods in assisting include presentation and discussion, group work, independent task, and task presentation. Instruments to collect the data consist of knowledge test and questionnaire. Data analysis techniques were descriptive statistical analysis and paired comparison test. There are four results of the assistance, namely: 1). The average value of skills in integrating new literacy into thematic science worksheet is 70.5 and this average value can be classified into good category, 2). Teachers felt the benefits of assistance in aspects of learning material, thematic learning, integration of new literacy and disaster literacy in learning, and writing of thematic learning material, 3). The response of student from to the use of thematic science worksheet by integrating new literacy can be entered into very good category with an average value of 86.7, and 4). The implementation of assisting on the writing of thematic science learning material is effective to improve the new literacy and disaster literacy of science teachers.

The process and student learning outcomes in science learning material properties of light is a problem faced by class IV SD Negeri 3 Mengwi. Student activity and learning outcomes have not been maximized because the teacher delivered science learning materials using the lecture method. This is the background of the researchers to conduct research with the aim of improving the process and learning outcomes of science with material properties of light with learning models Contextual Teaching and Learning. This research is a type of classroom action research conducted in SD Negeri 3 Mengwi. The subjects of this study were fourth grade students, amounting to 27 students consisting of 14 female students and 13 male students. The implementation of this study used 2 cycles. Instruments used to collect data are observation sheets, interviews, documentation and test questions. The results of this study indicate that science learning outcomes with material properties of light using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model in SD Negeri 3 Mengwi have increased in two cycles with quite satisfactory values. There was an increase in learning outcomes from cycle 1 an average value of 68.51 to 75.37 in cycle 2. In addition, there was an increase in the learning process of students in science learning carried out by teachers using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model. This research aims to develop valid, practical, and effective science learning material using project learning model to facilitate creative thinking skills on object motion in junior high school. Design of the development are used follow 4D model desin. The learning kit being validated by experts are syllabus, lesson plan, student work sheet, handout, and creative thinking question. The objective of this research was to trial learning materials in 39 grade VIII students in SMPN 31 Surabaya with One Group Pretest Postes Design. The results were analyzed by descriptive quantitative and qualitative. The result were obtained shows that the developed learning materials are: (1) Validity of learning material valid category (3,58); (2) Practicality based on: a) Feasibility of instruction good category (3,9); b) Readability of worksheets and student’s book students stating that the content and appearance of worksheets and student’s book good category; (3) Effectiveness based on: a) Student’s activities high category (93%); b) Result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain: 0,62), result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,674) in fluency thinking aspect, result of creative thinking students increased with high category (N-Gain:0,726) in flexible thinking aspect, result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,531) in original thinking aspect, and result of creative thinking students increased with medium category (N-Gain:0,530) in elaboration thinking aspect; c)The response of students very positively (92%). The conclusion of this research that science learning material developed base on project learning model valid, practical, and effective to facilitate student’s creative thinking in junior high school. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaranIPA model proyek yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP materi gerak benda. Rancangan pengembangan yang digunakan mengikuti rancanagn model 4D. Perangkat  pembelajaran yang dikembangkan meliputi Silabus, RPP, Handout siswa, LKP, dan Soal berpikir kreatif. Sasaran penelitian adalah perangkat pembelajaran yang diujicobakan pada 39 siswa kelas VIII SMPN 31 Surabaya dengan rancangan menggunakan One Group Pretest-Postest Design. Hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dinyatakan: (1) Validitas perangkat kategori valid (3,58); (2) Kepraktisan perangkat yang meliputi: a) Keterlaksanaan baik (3,9); b)Keterbacaan Handout dan LKP baik; (3) Keefektifan perangkat pembelajaran yang meliputi: a) Aktivitas siswa dengan kategori tinggi (93%); b) Hasil berpikir kreatif siswa mengalami peningkatan dengan kategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,62), pada aspek berpikir lancar (fluent) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,674), berpikir luwes (flexible) mengalami peningkatan berkategori tinggi (N-Gain: 0.726), berpikir orisinal (original) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,531), dan berpikir terperinci (elaboration) mengalami peningkatan berkategori sedang (N-Gain: 0,530); c) Respon siswa terhadap perangkat dan model pembelajaran sangat positif (92%). Simpulan penelitian ini bahwa perangkat pembelajaran IPA model proyek valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk melatihkan berpikir kreatif siswa SMP.

The 4.0 industrial revolution requires humans to possess 21st century skills. Education should be able to prepare students to have 21st century skills to be successful in their life. In addition, the geographical condition of Indonesia is a disaster-prone region. For this reason, teaching should be able to develop student literacy to face the challenges of the industrial revolution 4.0 and the geographical condition of the Indonesian region. The thematic science teaching is relevant to 21st century skills, essential principles of 21st century learning, and the geographical condition of Indonesia. But the real conditions show that the integration of literacy in science teaching is still lacking and limited. A solution to solve this problem is the assistance program the development of thematic learning material by integrating new literacy and disaster literacy for science teachers in junior high school. The objective of the research is to investigate the results of the assistance program the development of thematic learning material. Participants of program assistance were 30 science teachers who were members of the Science MGMP in East Agam district. The instrument for collecting data consisted of pretest and posttest and questionnaire sheet. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics analysis and wilcoxon signed rank test. Based on the results of data analysis can be stated that: 1). in the assistance program activities for the development of thematic science teaching material can be produced 26 teaching materials in the form of student worksheet by integrating new literacy and disaster literacy, 2). the average value of the practicality of using thematic science worksheet according to students in two junior high schools is 86.41 so that this average value can be classified into very good category, 3). the average value of participant responses to the implementation of the assistance program is 85.65 and this average value can be entered into very good category, and 4). the assistance program for developing learning material by integrating new literacy and disaster literacy is effective to improve knowledge of science teachers about data literacy, technological literacy, human literacy, and disaster literacy.

Students with their different learning styles also have their own different learning approaches, and teachers cannot simultaneously facilitate them all. Teachers’ limitation in serving all students’ learning styles can be anticipated by the use of computer-based instructions. This research aims to develop ScEd-Adaptive Learning System (ScEd-ASL) as a computer-based science learning media by accommodating students’ learning style variations. The research method used is a mixed method at junior high schools in Tangerang Selatan. The final product of the research is a special learning media appropriate to students’ visual, aural, read/write and kinesthetic learning styles. The uniqueness of the media is its form of integrated science materials, accommodating fast and slow learners, and appropriate to their learning styles. ScEd-Adaptive Learning System as a developed computer-based science learning media was declared as good and valid by four media experts and five learning material experts. ScEd-ALS for kinesthetic style has a high effectivity to improve students learning mastery (100%), consecutively aural (63%), read/write (55%), and visual (20%). This media development can be continued with the Android version or iOS to make it more operationally practical. This study aims to describe the way to apply contextual teaching and learning approach on natural science learning of 6th-grade students of Pontianak Selatan 14 State Elementary School. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The subjects of this study were researcher, teacher, and all of 6th-grade students of Pontianak Selatan 14 State Elementary School totaling 34 students. Data collection technique which used in this study are two techniques; they are direct observation technique and documents analyze. Instruments which used in this study are direct observation sheet and documents. Based on data analyze obtained, learning planning that uses the contextual teaching and learning approach needs to attention about the continuity between the learning material with the student’s experience in real life and the determination of efficient time allocation. The steps for implementing the contextual teaching and learning approach to natural science learning in Pontianak Selatan 14 State Elementary School have generally been well implemented and have an impact on the mastery of the material even though it has not been maximally individual.

Local wisdom-based science learning modules are one of the science learning models that are oriented to the integration of the values of community local wisdom into science learning material. The aim of the study was to develop a science learning module based on the local wisdom of Sembalun Village to improve the cognitive learning outcomes of junior high school students. The research is a development research with a 4-D model design consisting of 4 stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Research instruments included local wisdom observation sheets, expert validation sheets, learning comprehension observation sheets, cognitive learning outcomes tests, and student response questionnaire sheets. Data collection techniques used is local wisdom observation techniques, validation, observation, tests, and questionnaires. The results of the study stated that the interview results obtained a total score of 62% with good categories. The modules that have been developed are then validated by 2 expert lecturers, with an average score of 3.70 with valid / non-revised categories. Implementation of learning (RPP) with an overall average score of 89.9% with a very good category. Cognitive learning outcomes of students in the small scale readability test with the N-Gain value of 0.36 with the medium category. Response of students with an overall average score of 3.47 in the good category. The results of the study can be concluded that the local wisdom based science learning module can improve the cognitive learning outcomes of VII class Mts Al-Banun students.
