ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada konsep suhu, kalor dan perpindahan kalor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas yang terdiri dari tiga siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA 3 yang berjumlah 26 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi untuk aktivitas belajar siswa dan soal tes kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan rata-rata skor sebesar 25 dalam kategori baik, siklus II sebesar 27,5 dalam kategori baik, dan siklus III sebesar 29 dalam kategori baik. Hasil tes ketemampuan berpikir kritis siswa skor rata-rata kelas per siklus mengalami peningkatan tiap siklusnya. Pada siklus I diperoleh hasil sebesar 70,57 dengan kategori cukup, siklus II diperoleh hasil sebesar 82,30 dengan kategori baik, pada siklus III diperoleh hasil sebesar 90,57 dengan kategori sangat baik. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model Discovery Learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswaKata Kunci : Model Discovery Learning, Aktivitas Belajar Siswa, Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis ABSTRACT This research was aimed to improve students' critical thinking skills on the concepts of temperature, heat and heat transfer. This research was a classroom action research that conducted in four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects in this study were all students of class XI IPA 3, amounting to 26 students. The instrument used was an observation sheet for student learning activities and test questions for students' critical thinking skills. The results of this study indicated that student learning activities in the first cycle with an average score of 25 in the good category, the second cycle of 27.5 in the good category, and the third cycle of 29 in the good category. The results of students' critical thinking skills test scores on average per class has increased each cycle. In cycle I obtained results of 70.57 with enough categories, cycle II obtained results of 82.30 with good categories, in cycle III obtained results of 90.57 with very good categories. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the application of discovery learning models can improve critical thinking skills and student learning activitiesKeywords: Discovery Learning Model, Student Learning Activities, Critical Thinking Ability

This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills and student learning activities. After they applied the Think Talk Write learning models assisted by rotating wheel media on IV- grade students of SDN Talun 01 with 28 research subjects. This type of research was classroom action research. The research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisted of 4 stages, namely, planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The independent variable in this study was the Think Talk Write learning model assisted by the rotating wheel media, and the dependent variable was the skill to think critically. The instruments in this study were tests, interviews, observation, and documentation instruments. Data analysis techniques used in this study were quantitative analysis and qualitative analysis. The results of this class action research can be seen from the achievement of the following indicators, namely (1) critical thinking skills, classical completeness of pre-cycle students by 62% (less) and increased on the first cycle by 72% (less), and increased in cycle II by 85% (good). (2) Student learning activities in the first cycle, attitude field, were 73% (less) and increased in the second cycle by 86% (good). Then, student learning activities in the cycle I, skills field were 74% (less) and increased in cycle II by 87% (good). Furthermore, it can be concluded that the application of the Think Talk Write learning model assisted with the 7th theme rotating wheel media about the diverse beauty in my country on IV- grade students of SDN.

This study aims to improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes of geometry material by applying problem-based learning. This research is a type of classroom action research with the John Elliot model with four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection, which is carried out in two cycles. The data obtained were obtained from instruments in the form of an assessment rubric for critical thinking skills and tests to determine student learning outcomes on geometry material. The subjects in this study were class VII students of SMP Rewarangga Ende, totalling 20 people. Technical analysis of the data using a comparative descriptive technique between cycles. The results showed that: (1) there was an increase in students' critical thinking skills from the initial conditions, cycle 1, and cycle 2. In the initial condition the level of critical thinking skills in the critical category was only 43%, in cycle 1 76%, and in cycle 2 increased to 97%; (2) student learning outcomes of geometry material also increased. In the initial condition, only 42% of students experienced completeness, in cycle 1 it increased to 51% of students who completed, and in cycle 2 it increased to 68%.

This study aims to determine whether the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes in the environmental pollution material in class X SMA Negeri 1 Darussalam Aceh Besar. The research was conducted in class X of SMA 1 Darusalam Aceh Besar of 20 students. This research was carried out of 2 cycles. Student learning outcomes data are obtained by giving a test (evaluation) in the form of a description of environmental pollution material. The research results were analyzed by descriptive analysis techniques and percentages. The results of observations of students' critical thinking abilities which showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II which was 59.75% in cycle I to 75.25% in cycle II. And student learning outcomes also increased from 70% in the first cycle to 85% in the second cycle. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning models can improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes.

Abstract:The accountant profession in the 21st century requires good critical thinking skills so that developing the skills needed in the 21st century is necessary in the accounting student’ learning environment. Therefore, the technology can be used as a medium for learning and communication between the students and the lecturers. In addition, the problem based learning model as a learning that requires the students to actively participate in each learning to develop the critical thinking skills so that the integration between problem-based face-to-face learning and learning utilizing technology in e-learning media is expected to improve the students’ critical thinking skills and the learning motivation. The research aims to: (1) find out the implementation of an effective blended learning model towards the students’ critical thinking skills and the learning motivation, and (2) to find out the difference in the students’ critical thinking skills and the learning motivation between the experimental class and the control class. This research is a quasi experimental research with non equivalent control group design. The study used one experimental group and one control group. The population in this study was the students who took introductory courses in accounting and accounting information systems so that the samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used are the essay test for the critical thinking skills and the questionnaire for the learning motivation. The data analysis techniques used are paired sample t test and independent sample t test assisted by SPSS 26.00. The findings show that: (1) the results of the paired simple t test show that the implementation of the blended learning model effectively improve the students’ critical thinking skills and the learning motivation, and (2) The results of the independent simple t test show that the students’ critical thinking skills and the learning motivation of the experimental class have a significant difference with the students of the control class.Abstrak:Profesi akuntan pada abad 21 membutuhkan keterampilan berpikir kritis yang baik sehingga diperlukan lingkungan belajar mahasiswa akuntansi yang mampu mengembangkan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan di abad 21. Oleh karena itu, teknologi dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai media untuk belajar dan komunikasi antara mahasiswa dan dosen. Selain itu, model problem based learning sebagai pembelajaran yang menuntut mahasiswa berpartisipasi aktif dalam setiap pembelajaran untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritisnya sehingga integrasi antara pembelajaran tatap muka berbasis problem based learning dengan pembelajaran yang memanfaatkan teknologi di media e-learning diharapkan dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengetahui implementasi model blended learning yang efektif terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa, (2) mengetahui perbedaan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas control. Penelitian ini merupakan quasi experimental dengan desain non equivalent control group design. Penelitian ini menggunakan satu kelompok eksperimen dan satu kelompok kontrol. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang mengambil mata kuliah pengantar akuntansi dan sistem informasi akuntansi sehingga sampel diambil secara purposive sampling.  Teknik pengumpulan data untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis adalah tes sedangkan untuk motivasi belajar menggunakan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah paired sample t test dan independent sample t test dengan bantuan SPSS 26.00. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) Hasil uji paired simple t test menunjukkan implementasi dari model blended learning secara efektif meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa,  (2) Hasil uji independent simple t test menunjukkan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa kelas eksperimen memiliki perbedaan secara signifikan dengan mahasiswa kelas kontrol.

<p>This study aims to obtain an overview of improving students' critical thinking skills and communication skills whose learning activities use integrated blended learning of local wisdom. Learning activities are carried out by modifying blended learning stages, namely at the seeking information stage. The research subjects were 109 students of the 2<sup>nd</sup> semester of science education study program. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest design. The instrument used was a multiple-choice test using an assessment rubric and an observation sheet. The research data were analyzed using multivariate analysis. The results showed that the improvement of students' critical thinking and communication skills with blended learning (treatment class) was more significant than students whose blended learning was not integrated with local wisdom.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Keywords</strong>: blended learning, local wisdom, critical thinking skills, communication skills</p>

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan kegiatan belajar siswa pendidikan fisika dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah (PBM) dengan metode blended learning. Metode blended learning diterapkan dengan mengintegrasikan pembelajaran tatap muka dengan pembelajaran online ke dalam sintaks pembelajaran PBM (langkah). Bentuk pembelajaran tatap muka dilakukan di dalam kelas, sedangkan bentuk pembelajaran online dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan fasilitas internet dan forum diskusi kelas online. Jenis penelitian adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Studi ini akan direncanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap: perencanaan, melakukan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester 1 fisika yang mengambil mata pelajaran biologi dasar dan dosen mata kuliah. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah lembar tes berpikir kritis dan lembar observasi. Data hasil tes dilakukan dengan menghitung persentase berpikir kritis dan menentukan kriteria. Data kegiatan belajar yang diamati juga dihitung menggunakan rentang nilai yang muncul dan menentukan kriteria. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada siklus I adalah 52,12% (cukup kritis), sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 63,27% (kritis). Kegiatan mengajar dosen pada siklus I dan siklus II adalah sama yaitu 36 (kategori baik). Aktivitas belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 35 (kategori baik) dan pada siklus II yaitu 34 (kategori baik). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penerapan pembelajaran berbasis pembelajaran (PBM) menggunakan metode blended learning dapat meningkatkan berpikir kritis dan aktivitas belajar siswa pendidikan jasmani dalam mata pelajaran biologi dasar.   This study aims to improve students' critical thinking skills and learning activities of physics education students by applying problem-based learning model (PBM) with blended learning method. The blended learning method is applied by integrating face-to-face learning with online learning into the PBM learning syntax (step). Form of face-to-face learning is done in the classroom, while the form of online learning is done by utilizing internet facilities and online class discussion forums. The type of research is classroom action research (PTK) with quantitative descriptive research method. This study will be planned in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, doing, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this research are physics semester 1 students who take basic biology subject and lecturer of course subject. Instruments used to collect data are critical thinking test sheets and observation sheets. The test result data is done by calculating the percentage of critical thinking and determining the criteria. The observed data of learning activity is also calculated using the range of values ​​that appear and determine the criteria. The results showed that the percentage of critical thinking skills of students in the first cycle is 52.12% (quite critical), while in cycle II increased to 63.27% (critical). The teaching activities of lecturers in cycle I and cycle II are the same is 36 (good category). Student learning activity in cycle I is 35 (good category) and on cycle II that is 34 (good category). The conclusion of this research is application of learning based learning (PBM) using blended learning method can improve critical thinking and student learning activities physical education in basic biology subject.

This study aims to determine 1) Effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) based local wisdom model towards students’ learning achievement 2) Effect of the critical thinking towards students learning achievement 3) Interaction between the use of learning models and critical thinking skills towards student learning achievement. This study was experimental study. The population of this study were all students of class X IPA at SMA AL-Hamzar Tembeng Putik in academic year 2019/2020. The sample of this study was selected by saturated sampling technique which was Class X IPA 1 as an experimental class while class X IPA 2 was as a control class. The research design of this study was 2 x 2 factorial design. the data collection techniques of this study used critical thinking questionnaires and achievement tests. The data were analyzed by using two ways Anova. The results showed that; 1) there was an effect of problem based learning (PBL) based local wisdom on student learning achievement, it proved by the result of FA count> Ftable was 11.29> 4.00, which meant H0A was rejected, 2) There was an effect of critical thinking skill towards student learning achievement, it proved by the result of FB> Ftable was 5.51> 4.00 which meant that H0B is rejected. 3) There was no interaction between the use of learning models with the Critical thinking skill towards student achievement, it is because FABcount <Ftable was 0.98 <0.04 which meant H0AB is accepted.

The background of this research is the lack of fifth students’ learning activities and critical thinking skills of science learning. This study aims to discuss and obtain data about the improvement of students’ learning activities and critical thinking skills in science learning with a problem-based learning (PBL) approach in grade 4 in a public elementary school in Suliki District. This type of research is classroom action research consisting of four stages, namely planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research consists of two cycles and the subjects in this study were 21 fifth grade students, consisting of 11 boys and 10 girls in 2016/2017 academic year. Data collection techniques used were observation sheets and tests. The data were analyzed using percentages and data reduction. The results showed that the implementation of problem-based learning (PBL) approach increased students’ learning activities and critical thinking skills in science learning which was marked by an increase of an average student's critical thinking ability from 69 in cycle I to 81 in cycle II.
