Kata Kunci: LKS, inkuiri terbimbing, materi tek diskusi.ABSTRACTStudent Activity Sheet (LKS) is one part of teaching materials. As one part of teaching materials, LKS is an important component in learning. Based on preliminary research results, LKS used still not lead to learning patterns that explore students' knowledge. This study aims to produce LKS based on guided inquiry based on the discussion material of students of SMP class IX class that is valid and effective. This type of research is a research and development, collaboration models Borg & Gall and Dick & Carey. The method used is quasi experiment (static group comparison design). The sample of the research is the students of SMP class IX, 30 students as the comparison class, 33 students as the experimental class. Measurers are multiple choice tests on formative evaluation as posttest. Data analysis used t-test for paired samples at 5% significant level (p <0,05). The result of the research shows that LKS is valid based on the average expert rating of 74.7% with the category is quite valid. Effective on the basis of 1) cognitive learning outcomes, grade averages 90.42 and beyond the defined limit of (KKM) which is defined as 80. T-test results obtained t value = -9.574 with degrees of freedom (dk) of 61. While p-value (2-tailed) = 0,0000, since p-value = 0,0000 is smaller than α = 0.05 then H0: μ1 = μ2 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the experimental group posttest and the comparison group. Keywords: LKS, guided inquiry, discussion material.

The voltaic cell teaching materials used in high school are still in the form of textbooks that do not present multiple representations of chemistry, namely the macroscopic, submicroscopic, and symbolic levels. The three levels of chemical representation can be visualized using flipbook teaching materials so that students are expected to understand the voltaic cell material. Teaching materials are used to support the learning process. Current learning still uses conventional learning models that only focus on teachers. Constructivist-based active learning is needed because it involves students so that learning is more meaningful. One of the constructivist learning models is the guided inquiry learning model which includes observing, asking questions, compiling hypotheses, gathering information, testing hypotheses, and concluding. The purpose.of this development.is to.produce a proper guided inquiry-based flipbook teaching material. The flipbook teaching.materials were developed.using the Four-D model (define, .design, .develop,and.disseminate) but the disseminated stage was not carried out. Media and material validation was carried out by five chemistry lecturers. The legibility test was carried out by 50 high school alumni with a specialization in Science. The assessment uses a Likert scale accompanied by comments, suggestions from the validator, and audience. The data obtained from the analysis questionnaire to determine the feasibility level of the product using the percentage technique. The validation of the flipbook teaching materials development product in terms of material obtained an average score of 85.4%, validation in terms of media.obtained.an.average percentage of 85.5%, while the readability test results obtained.an.average.percentage of 87%. Based on the results.of material validation, media, and legibility tests, it can be concluded that the flipbook teaching materials guided inquiry-based voltaic cells are very suitable as a learning resource.

Education in accordance with future needs will only be realized if there is a shift or change in mindset in the learning process, including: 1) From teacher-centered to student-centered, 2) From passively to active-investigating; 3) From virtual / abstract to real world contexts; 4) From personal learning to team-based learning; 5) From the one-way relationship shifts towards cooperatives; 6) From a single conscious effort to plural; 7) From factual thinking to critical; and 8) From the delivery of knowledge to the exchange of knowledge. In the Center Curriculum report (2007), findings were found in the four groups of problems faced by teachers when they will realize the implementation of content standards, namely: 1) Translation of basic competencies into indicators. 2) The description of the basic material in KD becomes a description of the main material in the Indicator, covering the breadth and depth of the material because what is given in the curriculum is minimal material means the lower limit, but the limit is not determined so that the teacher experiences difficulties in preparing syllabus and lesson plans; 3) Difficulties in implementing approaches, methods, or certain learning models in learning, due to limited capacity so that the demands of the Standard Process are difficult for teachers to fulfill; 4) Difficulties in obtaining textbooks (teaching materials) that are oriented to certain processes (models) such as inquiry, especially those written in Indonesian and in accordance with the National Curriculum, which greatly influences the achievement of content Standards and Process Standards. The development of chemical teaching materials for High School (SMA) based Classes Activities with guided inquiry models is one of the choices offered to overcome the problems faced by teachers in realizing the implementation of content standards and process standards.
