The skills to construct and interpret graphs are a form of science skills and are an important component in learning physics. The purpose of this study was to describe the ability of undergraduate physics education students to construct graphs based on practicum data and interpret them. Data obtained through respondent answer sheets, thinking-aloud recordings, and interviews. The research was conducted at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Untad and the research subjects of the Physics Education Study Program students were 6 people obtained based on the values of Basic Physics I and Basic Physics practicum II then divided into three groups of levels (high, medium, and low) with each category as many as 2 people. The results of this study indicate: 1) in general, respondents in the high, medium, and low categories can construct graphs but are not based on the prerequisite ability to construct graphs, especially in determining the x-axis and y-axis variables, 2) on the ability to interpret graphs, respondents can interpret graphs the relationship between variables on the graph but not supported by an explanation or evaluation based on proper physics concepts, 3) The strategy used by respondents in constructing graphs, in general, is to convert data in decimal form or scientific notation and 4) The difficulties experienced by respondents when constructing graphs are converting data, determining the scale and how to determine the variables on each graph axis.

The purpose of this study is to describe the mathematical disposition of students who use blended learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects were four students from the sixth semester of mathematics education study program. The research instrument was a student mathematical disposition questionnaire. The results of the study concluded that the average level of mathematical disposition of students was classified as moderate. If seen from the indicators, only the monitor and evaluate indicators are classified as high category. Indicators of persistence and perseverance, especially when lecturers present interesting contextual problems. Many indicators of curiosity arise when lecturers invite students to be active in learning, for example students are invited to study in groups. Many self-confidence indicators appear when lecturers ask students questions. While many flexible indicators appear when lecturers give open ended questions.

Reasoning that is constructed from remembering is imitative reasoning, while the opposite is creative reasoning. This study aims to explore creative mathematical reasoning in solving geometric problems. Mathematical creative reasoning is reasoning that contains elements of novelty, plausibility, and mathematical foundation. This type of research is descriptive qualitative, which is explorative. The research subjects were the first-semester student in the mathematics education study program with 32 students. The results showed that from 32 students, there was only one student identified as having creative mathematical reasoning in solving geometry problems. Creative mathematical reasoning can be identified when the subject is able to reason algorithmically but is aware of problems so they cannot be resolved algorithmically so that they must form new reasoning, which consists of novelty, plausibility, and mathematical foundation. Creative mathematical reasoning arises after students make an algorithmic reasoning process, but find no solution. Novelty is the weakest indicator of creative mathematical reasoning, so it requires scaffolding to bring it up.

This research was conducted to investigate and understand pronunciation problems, which is the sub-skill of speaking in the first semester students of the UPR FKIP English Education Study Program through contrastive analysis. The purpose of this study was to analyze pronunciation errors in English words and the causes of the errors made by students who were the research subjects. The design used in this study to present the data is descriptive qualitative. The results of data analysis were classified into consonant errors (consonants), vowels (vowels), and vowels (diphthongs) and the causes why these errors occured. Based on the results of data analysis, the English segmental sounds that were difficult to pronounce by students of the English Education Study Program semester I in the academic year 2020/2021 were (1) long vowels or tense vowels (i:, u:, ?:, ?:, ?:]; (2) short vowels soundor lax vowels low vowel sound [æ], and neutral vowel (schwa) [?]; (3) the sound of diphthongs (double vowels), namely rising diphthongs [??] and falling diphthongs [??], [e?], and [??]; and (4) fricative consonant sounds [f, v, z, ?, ð, ?, ?]. The causes of difficulty in learning pronunciation of English segmental sounds are (1) differences in Indonesian and English sound systems and (2) lack of knowledge of the English sound system.

One of the obstacles in designing the PISA like problems is determining the right context in order to make the questions make sense for students to solve. Therefore, this study aims to determine the profile of the context level in the PISA like problems developed by novice researchers, students of the Mathematics Education Study Program in one of university in Palembang, South Sumatra, who conducted a final assignment research on the topic of developing the PISA like problems. The level of context in this study is defined as a matter of mathematical models that use situations that are either found in the real world that make sense in students' understanding. Context level is divided into three, namely camouflage context, contexts that need solutions, and contexts that require mathematical models. Document observation was carried out to collect the profile data about the PISA model through filling in the checklist sheet and quantitative descriptions. The document observed in this activity was 43 items of PISA like problems from the four research subjects involved. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the PISA like problems developed by research subjects are still dominated by questions with a camouflage context that is equal to 53.49%. As many as 41.86% of the questions designed were already accompanied by contexts that needed solutions. However, the number of contexts requiring mathematical models is only 4.65%.
