Writing and research, including the type of causal research comparative quantitative approach performed on Civil Service Police Unit of East Kalimantan Province, aims to validate the hypothesis posed, or the relationship of influence between the variables of leadership, work environment, work culture, communication, supervision employment, compensation and placement on morale of civil servants at the municipal police Prov. Kaltim and to know which one is more dominant variable, using quantitative methods of correlation. Based on the results of research conducted by a few conclusions that there is a relationship of influence between the variables of leadership, work environment, work culture, communication, supervision of work, compensation, and placement on morale in a real and proven to significantly that, the variables that influence significantly to increase employee morale is monitoring the work.Keyword: leadership, work environment, work culture, communication, supervision of work, compensation, placement

Abstract According to the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, a functional capacity evaluation (FCE) measures an individual's physical abilities via a set of activities in a structured setting and provides objective data about the relationship between an impairment and maximal ability to perform work activities. A key distinction between FCEs and self-reported activities of daily living is that the former involve direct observation by professional evaluators. Numerous devices can quantify the physical function of a specific part of the musculoskeletal system but do not address the performance of whole body tasks in the workplace, and these devices have not been shown to predict accurately the ability to perform all but the simplest job tasks. Information about reliability has been proposed as a way to identify magnification and malingering, but variability due to pain and poor comprehension of instructions may cause variations in assessments. Structured work capacity evaluations involve a set of activities but likely underestimate the individual's ability to do jobs that involve complex or varying activities. Job simulations involve direct observation of an individual performing actual job tasks, require a skilled and experienced evaluator, and raise questions about expense, time, objectivity and validity of results, and interpretation of results in terms of the ability to perform specific jobs. To understand the barriers to return to work, examiners must supplement FCEs with information regarding workplace environment, accommodations, and demotivators.

Malaysia has recorded the second highest involuntary turnover rate at 6% and third highest voluntary rate at 6.5% in South East Asia. Employee loyalty becomes critical towards employer. Thus, the purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between career development, compensation, job security, work environment and employee loyalty. In conducting this study, convenience sampling technique has been employed and respondents have been chosen in the area of Kuala Lumpur. Hypothesis were tested using regression analysis by using Smart-PLS. Based on the result, career development, compensation and job security were found to be significant with employee loyalty. However, work environment was found to be not significant with employee loyalty. It is suggested for future research to explore other variables in order to find the factors contributed in employee loyalty. The aim of this study is to analyse the relationship between vegetation indices of Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and soil nutrient of oil palm plantation at Felcra Nasaruddin Bota in Perak for future sustainable environment. The satellite image was used and processed in the research. By Using NDVI, the vegetation index was obtained which varies from -1 to +1. Then, the soil sample and soil moisture analysis were carried in order to identify the nutrient values of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P) and Potassium (K). A total of seven soil samples were acquired within the oil palm plantation area. A regression model was then made between physical condition of the oil palms and soil nutrients for determining the strength of the relationship. It is hoped that the risk map of oil palm healthiness can be produced for various applications which are related to agricultural plantation.

The nursing of elderly in Tresna Werda X nursing home is mainly based on the workrout in and that the caregiver have not yet received training on the basic needs of the elderly that they should meet. Therefore, the researcher wanted to know the relations of the work culture of caregiver according to the elderly’s perception with the incidence of neglect in PSTW X West Sumatera. This study used Descriptive correlation design with cross sectional approach. The method of sampling used total sampling, which amounts to 75. The statistical test used chi square and logistic regression. The results of the study show that all of the elderly experienced neglect; there is a relation between attitude towards what is conducted, work environment, time with elderly neglect; no relation between behavior in making decisions with elderly neglect. The attitude towards what is conducted has the most impacton the incidence of elderly neglect. It is concluded that the caregiver should have a better understanding on their roles and functions as the caregivers to the elderly. Moreover, it is recommended that the authorities should put nursing personnel in accordance with the roles, functions and competence, and recruit nurses in accordance with the needs of the nursing home.

Abstract The impacts of work characteristics on travel mode choice behavior has been studied for a long time, focusing on the work type, income, duration, and working time. However, there are no comprehensive studies on the influence of travel behavior. Therefore, this study examines the influence of work environment as a mediator of socio-economic variables, trip characteristics, transportation infrastructure and services, the environment and choice of transportation mode on work trips. The mode of transportation consists of three variables, including public transportation (bus rapid transit and mass rapid transit), private vehicles (cars and motorbikes), and online transportation (online taxis and motorbike taxis online). Multivariate analysis using the partial least squares-structural equation modeling method was used to explain the relationship between variables in the model. According to the results, the mediating impact of work environment is significant on transportation choices only for environmental variables. The mediating mode choice effect is negative for public transportation and complimentary for private vehicles and online transportation. Other variables directly affect mode choice, including the influence of work environment.
