Bacterial Autotransporters is a huge and assorted super family of proteins present in external boundary of the gram negative bacteria. Autotransporters consists of C-terminal beta domain, N-terminal passenger domain and a pathogenic function. The beta domain of the bacterial autotransporter is associated with pathogenicity with three types of functions namely adhesions, esterase and proteases. Identification and classification of a bacterial autotransporter is important in order to target it and hinder its ability to cause disease. Identification and classification therefore has become a challenging problem due to its homology sequence. In this paper, we ought to establish a web based tool that could identify and classify bacterial autotransporters on basis of homology with already reported bacterial autotransporters. The input required for tool amino acid sequence in FASTA format. The tool will analyze the query based on similarity with already reported sequence in database and generate output with information in terms of function, organism, class, length, protein ID and symbol. Further, this user friendly and freely accessible tool is integrated with NCBI, InterPro, Pfam, pubmed. Moreover, newly detected bacterial autotransporter can be easily added in the Bacterial Autotransporter Detector tool database with authentic reference

Keratitis and conjunctivitis (infections of the cornea or conjunctiva) are ocular infections caused by various bacteria, fungi, viruses or parasites; bacteria, however, are usually prominent. Systemic conditions such as alcoholism, diabetes, debilitating disease, AIDS and immunosuppressive therapy can lead to increased susceptibility but trauma and contact lens use are very important factors. Gram-negative bacteria are most frequently cultured in these situations and Pseudomonas aeruginosa is most usually isolated from culture-positive ulcers of patients using contact lenses. Smears for staining can be obtained with a special swab or spatula and Gram staining frequently guides choice of a therapeutic rinse prior to the report of the culture results upon which specific antibiotic therapy is based. In some cases staining of the direct smear may be diagnostic in situations where the culture will not grow. In these cases different types of stains occasionally assist in guiding therapy.

In a company, the process of income and expense of money must have a profit-generating goal base. The success of financial management within the company, can be monitored from the ability of the financial management in managing the finances and utilize all the opportunities that exist with as much as possible with the aim to control the company's cash (cash flow) and the impact of generating profits in accordance with expectations. With a web-based online accounting system version 2.0, companies can be given the ease to manage money in and out of the company's cash. It has a user friendly system with navigation that makes it easy for the financial management to use it. Starting from the creation of a company's cash account used as a cash account and corporate bank account on the system, deletion or filing of cash accounts, up to the transfer invoice creation feature, receive and send money. This research aimed at designing and improving the web-based integrated peer and self- assessment. WesPASS (web-based peer-assessment system), developed in this research, allows students to assess their own or their peers’ performance and project assignments and to report about the result of these assessments so that they correct their assignments. This study employed design-based research. The participants included 102 fourth grade primary school students and their 4 teachers from 2 state and 2 private primary schools in Ankara, Kecioren (Turkey) who employed the system and were engaged in a questionnaire survey to assess its quality. The findings were analyzed through quantitative data analysis. The findings revealed that the system can be used by elementary school students for peer and self-assessment system. The participants stated that WesPASS is simple and user-friendly, and it accelerates the assessment process by employing information technology and allows to share opinions

Genome-scale metabolic models are of high interest in a number of different research fields. Flux balance analysis (FBA) and other mathematical methods allow the prediction of the steady-state behavior of metabolic networks under different environmental conditions. However, many existing applications for flux optimizations do not provide a metabolite-centric view on fluxes. Metano is a standalone, open-source toolbox for the analysis and refinement of metabolic models. While flux distributions in metabolic networks are predominantly analyzed from a reaction-centric point of view, the Metano methods of split-ratio analysis and metabolite flux minimization also allow a metabolite-centric view on flux distributions. In addition, we present MMTB (Metano Modeling Toolbox), a web-based toolbox for metabolic modeling including a user-friendly interface to Metano methods. MMTB assists during bottom-up construction of metabolic models by integrating reaction and enzymatic annotation data from different databases. Furthermore, MMTB is especially designed for non-experienced users by providing an intuitive interface to the most commonly used modeling methods and offering novel visualizations. Additionally, MMTB allows users to upload their models, which can in turn be explored and analyzed by the community. We introduce MMTB by two use cases, involving a published model of Corynebacterium glutamicum and a newly created model of Phaeobacter inhibens.

Motivation: Continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems are an essential part of novel technology in diabetes management and care. CGM studies have become increasingly popular among researchers, healthcare professionals, and people with diabetes due to the large amount of useful information that can be collected using CGM systems. The analysis of the data from these studies for research purposes, however, remains a challenge due to the characteristics and large volume of the data. Results: Currently, there are no publicly available interactive software applications that can perform statistical analyses and visualization of data from CGM studies. With the rapidly increasing popularity of CGM studies, such an application is becoming necessary for anyone who works with these large CGM datasets, in particular for those with little background in programming or statistics. CGMStatsAnalyser is a publicly available, user-friendly, web-based application, which can be used to interactively visualize, summarize, and statistically analyze voluminous and complex CGM datasets together with the subject characteristics with ease.

Abstract Motivation Liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry-based non-targeted metabolomics is routinely performed to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze a tremendous amount of metabolite signals in complex biological samples. However, false-positive peaks in the datasets are commonly detected as metabolite signals by using many popular software, resulting in non-reliable measurement. Results To reduce false-positive calling, we developed an interactive web tool, termed CPVA, for visualization and accurate annotation of the detected peaks in non-targeted metabolomics data. We used a chromatogram-centric strategy to unfold the characteristics of chromatographic peaks through visualization of peak morphology metrics, with additional functions to annotate adducts, isotopes and contaminants. CPVA is a free, user-friendly tool to help users to identify peak background noises and contaminants, resulting in decrease of false-positive or redundant peak calling, thereby improving the data quality of non-targeted metabolomics studies. Timetable scheduling is a problem that concerns every teaching institution. Every semester or year a new timetable must be produced to take account of faculty, student and course changes causing a necessarily large amount of work. All institutions face a considerable number of difficulties especially before the start of academic semesters in colleges due to the increased number of students and courses. Also, visualizing the timetable needs drastic amount of work like to print them on papers and display it then to its respective classes, that too in colleges need to be secured since it got snatched away by the students there. And timetable updation require to follow full steps as followed during its creation in traditional paper-based method but here using timesync, it makes everything so smooth that it need to only update it with its user-friendly UI and no need to follow other steps as in orthodox method. The main objective of this study is to develop a web-based application for timetable scheduling and visualizing for schools and colleges. However, some work and studies still need to be done to make this system further smart and consistent as described in the recommendations section.

An expert system imitates the decision–making adeptness of a human expert. They are intended to answer complicated questions characterized mainly as if–then rules instead of traditional procedural code. A major problem facing the cultivation of rubber (Hevea brasiliensis) in developing countries is the destructive effect of pathogens which result in about fifty percent (50%) loss in crop yield. This problem persists, due to a communication gap between agricultural researchers, such that field extension officers, and farmers are hampered by various operational and logistic challenges. This paper is an effort to bridge this gap, and hence features an expert system that can be accessed online by farmers.  The expert system allows farmers to select disease symptoms presented in categories from a JAVA based user friendly graphical interface. The output generated by the rule–base engine, diagnoses the diseases of the rubber crop, and suggests curative and preventive measures. The main source of information for developing the expert system’ knowledge–base was the Rubber Research Institute, Iyanomo, Edo State, Nigeria.

Abstract. Standard practice of setting up Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) involves use of a single land use (LU) layer under the assumption that no change takes place in LU condition irrespective of the length of simulation period. This assumption leads to erroneous conclusions about efficacy of management practices in those watersheds where land use changes (LUCs) (e.g. agriculture to urban, forest to agriculture etc.) occur during the simulation period. To overcome this limitation, we have developed a user-friendly, web-based tool named LUU Checker that helps create a composite LU layer by integrating multiple years of LU layers available in watersheds of interest. The results show that the use of composite LU layer for hydrologic response unit (HRU) delineation in 2474-km2 L’Anguile River Watershed in Arkansas was able to capture changed LU at subbasin level by using LU data available in the year 1999 and 2006, respectively. The web-based tool is applicable for large size watersheds and is accessible to multiple users from anywhere in the world. Keywords: Land use, Web-based tool, SWAT, LUU Checker.

With the rapid development of computer network, the network architecture is increasingly complicated; the scale of network extends continuously. Therefore, the functions and positions of the network management are also more and more important. The Web-Based network management, making users manage the network and system expediently and simply, combining Web technology and modern distributed network management technology, which can also be updated and customized easily to meet the different needs, is an important direction of the development of the network management technology in the future. This paper proposes an a SNMP-based Web network management system using B/S structure, which has features of flexible structure, easily extensible, user-friendly features and so on.
