The increasing production and use of nanoparticles (NP) have raised concerns regarding the potential toxicity to human and environmental health. In this review, we address the up to date information on nanotoxicity using fish as models. Firstly, we carried out a systematic literature search (articles published up to February 2019 in the Scopus database) in order to quantitatively assess the scientific research on nanoparticles, nanotoxicity and fish. Next, we carried out a narrative synthesis on the main factors and mechanisms involved in NP toxicity in fish. According to the bibliometric analysis, there is a low contribution of scientific research on nanotoxicity compared with the general nanoparticles scientific production. The literature search also showed that silver and titanium NP are the most studied nanomaterials and Danio rerio is the fish species most used. In comparison with freshwater fish, the effects of nanomaterials on marine fish have been little studied. After a non-systematic literature analysis, we identified several factors involved in nanotoxicity, as well as the effects and main toxicity mechanisms of NP on fish. Finally, we highlighted the knowledge gaps and the need for future research.

Bibliometric analysis of 3105 publications retrieved from the Scopus database was conducted to evaluate bibliographic content of scientific output on social sciences in Vietnam, for the 2000–2019 period. Our main findings show that the number of publications on social sciences from Vietnam has increased significantly over the last two decades, and there was a spike in the scientific output for the recent three years when the number of publications accounted for 53.76% of the collection. The most productive authors came from a few public research institutes with strong resources as the top 10 institutions participated in 44.22% of the collection. Vietnamese scholars tend not to submit their works to high-ranking journals since five Q1 journals in the top 10 publishing journals published only 6.17% of the collection. For international collaboration, Australia and the United States ranked first and second based on the number of publications and citations. Other countries in top 10 mostly located in Europe and Asia. Research topics were diverse focusing on gender, poverty, HIV, higher education and sustainable development. We suggest that supporting policies and funding need to be provided to help Vietnamese scholars improve their works, and to boost their scientific production in the future.

Objectives: The integrated interventional radiology (IR) residency has only been established relatively recently as compared to other specialties. Although some preliminary information is available based on survey data five, no comprehensive bibliometric analysis documenting the importance of the quantity and quality of research in applying to an integrated-IR program currently exists. As the first bibliometric analysis of matched IR residents, the data obtained from this study fills a gap in the literature. Materials and Methods: A list of matched residents from the 2018 integrated-IR match were identified by contacting program directors. The Scopus database was used to search for resident research information, including total publications, first-author publications, radiology-related publications, and h-indices. Each matriculating program was categorized into one of five tiers based on the average faculty Hirsch index (h-index). Results: Sixty-three programs and 117 matched residents were identified and reviewed on the Scopus database. For the 2018 cycle, 274 total publications were produced by matched applicants, with a mean of 2.34 ± 0.41 publication per matched applicant. The average h-index for matched applicants was 0.96 ± 0.13. On univariate analysis, the number of radiology-related publications, highest journal impact factor, and h-index were all associated with an increased likelihood of matching into a higher tier program (P < 0.05). Other research variables displayed no statistical significance. All applicants with PhDs matched into tier one programs. Conclusions: Research serves as an important element in successfully matching into an integrated-IR residency. h-index, number of radiology-related manuscripts, and highest journal impact factors are all positively associated with matching into a higher tier program.

ABSTRACT Aim To perform a qualitative assessment of research publications coming from two premier medical institutes in India. Materials and methods Research publications from AIIMS and PGIMER published during 2004 to 2008 were analyzed. The publications were categorized into five types. A year-wise analysis was done for both the institutes. Data was obtained from Scopus. The collected data included the number of papers published in a category, total citations received by a type of publication in a year, number of publications which have no citations, number of publications with only one citation, h-index, number of zero and only one citation were added to get publications with negligible citations. Results A total number of 4,828 and 2,882 research publications were analyzed from AIIMS and PGIMER respectively. The original articles attracted highest no of citations that is 64 and 66% of the total citations in a year for AIIMS and PGIMER respectively. Approximately 37 to 42% of the original articles get negligible citations. The h-index for various categories of article was higher for the original articles (18/13), whereas it was very low for other category of research publications. Conclusion The original articles fetch more citations in long run. Close to 40% of the original research done in the studied institutes get negligible citations pointing toward their outcome utility and quality. More than 60% of the minor category publications remain uncited. This sort of data if periodically obtained should serve as a benchmark for quality analysis of scientific research. Nowadays, enterprises have to be good for society, to take care of the environment, and to achieve profit at the same time. And the closed-loop supply chain helps them being so. However, there is a lack of bibliometric and visualization research in the area of “Closed-Loop Supply Chain”. Thus, this research aims to present a bibliometric overview to define the current state of scientific production regarding “Closed-Loop Supply Chain”. The review of 807 publications from the Scopus database (1995–2020) was conducted. Two combinations of words with the logical operator (“supply chain” AND “reverse logistics”) were used. The “title, abstract, keywords” field of search in the Scopus database was done. The visualization of the results was made using VOSviewer program to graphically map the material. The study used the co-occurrence of keywords and co-authorship (country) analyses. As a result, the most productive authors and journals were defined. The most cited studies were determined. Country clusters and keywords (co-occurrence) clusters were represented. The obtained results of the analysis and graphical presentations are relevant, and they form the basis for a better understanding of the concept of Closed-Loop Supply Chain.
