The aim of this study is to determine the representation of the areas of educational objectives (cognitive, psychomotor, and emotional) measured by the science, chemistry, physics, and biology (2018-2019) examination questions in the State of Kuwait (objective, categorical) and the availability of science operations. Content analysis was used as a method to analyze the final examinations in the lens of the three educational objectives domains. The results of the study showed that the number of questions of the science subjects (chemistry, physics, and biology) for the second semester of the academic year 2018-2019 was 136 questions as 46, 48, and 42and that the average of all questions focused on questions related to lower cognitive levels. The study concluded with a set of recommendations to develop the process of final examinations for secondary schools and to rethink about the process of evaluating students with science concepts rather than limiting the subjects to sets of information from textbooks.

This study aimed to identify teachers' implicit beliefs about the creativity of learners in primary, middle, and secondary schools and explore the differences in implicit beliefs according to the teacher's gender, specialization, training, and experience. The study participant’s comprised 200 male and female teachers from primary, middle and secondary schools in the State of Kuwait during the 2018-2019 academic year. The study tools consisted of the Electronic Measure of the Teachers' Implicit Beliefs of Creativity. The results showed that developmental beliefs were the most prevailing beliefs among the teachers, followed by the environmental beliefs; and, finally beliefs about personality traits. Also, the study found no statistical differences in the implicit beliefs of creativity attributed to the gender or specialization of the teacher. Furthermore, implicit beliefs about creativity attributed to training favor those who received training on creativity and differences attributed to years of experience, in favor of teachers with more experience (10-15 years). Moreover, the results showed differences in implicit beliefs of creativity that can be attributed to the educational stage in favor of the secondary school. The study presented a set of recommendations for training teachers about creativity and how to deal with creative students.

The aim of the study was to investigate the effect of the use of the flipped classroom strategy on the educational achievement of eleventh grade students in the State of Kuwait and the motivation towards their learning. The sample consisted of 62 eleventh-grade students in the State of Kuwait, divided  into  two classrooms, during the second semester of the academic year 2016/2017. The researchers used for this purpose semi-experimental method to measure the impact of the independent variable (teaching using the flipped classrooms strategy), on variables (educational achievement, and motivation towards learning). The tools of the study were the achievement test and the motivation scale. The results of the study indicated that the strategy of the inverted classes showed a positive and effective application to raise the level of achievement of the learner and improve the motivation towards learning informatics among the 11th grade students in the State of Kuwait.

This research is aimed to find out the efforts to raise students’motivation and learning activity by utilizing flash animation media on the Science subject on the topic discussion of “Pengukuran” to the seventh gradestudents of SMP Negeri 3 Percut Sei Tuan. The subjects of the research werethirty students of seventh grade Academic Year 2012/2013 that consist of 15males and 15 females. The object of the research was how to raise thestudents’ motivation and learning activity by utilizing flash animation mediabased on the STAD theory. The result reveals that: (1) there is an averagerise of the students’ learning completeness which is indicated by (a) the test result in the first stage completes 63.33%, (b) the test-result in the secondstage completes 86.70% and the index gain is 0.32% which raises mediumcriteria. (2) Students learning activity is found rose which is indicated by theincreasing average percentage of 72.40 in the first stage becomes 88.48 inthe second stage. (3) There is an increasing number of students learningmotivation which is known that students’ motivation in the attentioncondition rises as much as 28.44% from 52.89% in the first stage becomes81.33% in the second stage, there is an increasing number in the relevancecondition as much as 23.67% from 64.75% in the first stage becomes88.42% in the second stage, there is an increasing number in the confidencecondition as much as 30.86% from 57.71% in the first stage become 88.57%in the second stage, on the satisfaction condition; there is also increasingnumber as much as 23.58% from 65.33% in the first stage becomes 88.92%in the second stage.

This study aimed to examine the trend of ambient air pollution (i.e., ozone (O3), nitrogen monoxide (NO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), benzene (C6H6) and particulate matter with an aerodynamic diameter smaller than 10 microns (PM10), and non-methane hydrocarbons (NMHCs) at 10 monitoring stations located in the main residential and industrial areas in the State of Kuwait over 6 years (2012–2017). We found that the SO2 level in industrial areas (0.065 ppm) exceeded the allowable range of SO2 in residential areas (0.030 ppm). Air pollution variables were defined by the Environmental Public Authority of Kuwait (K-EPA). In this study, integrated statistical analysis was performed to compare an established air pollution database to Kuwait Ambient Air Quality Guidelines and to determine the association between pollutants and meteorological factors. All pollutants were positively correlated, with the exception of most pollutants and PM10 and O3. Meteorological factors, i.e., the ambient temperature, wind speed and humidity, were also significantly associated with the above pollutants. Spatial distribution mapping indicated that the PM10 level remained high during the southwest monsoon (the hot and dry season), while the CO level was high during the northeast monsoon (the wet season). The NO2 and O3 levels were high during the first intermonsoon season.
