New technologies have changed the way today's own label products are being offered. Today the Internet and even more the so-called social networks have played key roles in dispersing any particular product in a more efficient and dynamic sense. Also, having a smartphone and a wireless high-speed network are no longer a luxury or a temporary fad, but rather a necessity for the new generations. These technological advances and new marketing trends have not gone unnoticed by the medium and large stores. The augmented reality applied to interactive catalogs is a new technology that supports the adding of virtual reality to a real environment which in turn makes it a tool for discovering new uses, forms, and in this case, spending habits. The challenge for companies with their private labels in achieving their business objectives, is providing customers with products and services of the highest quality, thus promoting the efficient and streamlined use of all resources that are accounted for and at the same time promoting the use of new information technologies as a strategic competitive.

Advances in MEMs, wireless, information technology and other enabling technologies are leading to new sensor system functionality and access to more accurate data and information than heretofore realizable. These advances are crucial for realizing the full potential of the on-going transition from data-poor to data-rich and information-poor to information-rich science and engineering practices. With decreases in size and cost of sensors resulting from advances in microsystem technologies, ubiquitous sensing is becoming both physically realizable and economically feasible. New developments in sensed-information technologies offer the promise of novel insights and advances in areas that have previously lacked the technology base for acquiring high resolution and highly specific assessments of state (biologic, chemical, physical, optical, etc.). Increased research and education are needed in new technologies addressing research issues relating to new hardware and software for efficient acquisition of data and information, and in new decision and control theory as tools for managing and using available data and information. New sensor system functionality will be realized through countless different design concepts. This paper examines some of the needs, opportunities, and trends for research and education in the area of sensed-information and sensor systems research.

The rapid development of information technology and the proliferation of restaurants and cafes in urban areas make eating activities no longer a primary need. This study examines the phenomenon of uploading food photos on Instagram. Nowadays, when eating out, people tend to take food photos before consuming it. This phenomenon is something that generally happens. The food photo is uploaded to social media, mostly on Instagram. The uploader of food photos on Instagram is known as Instagram Foodies. These symptoms continue to be made by consuming food and eating out not for the purpose of primary needs, but rather on symbolic things. This phenomenon will be examined using Jean Baudrillard's theory about consumer society, who consumes signs to fulfil the desire for selfexistence. This study used a qualitative method by interviewing four foodies who were well known in following the latest trends of foods and places in Jakarta city and taking food photos before consuming it. The result of this study shows that foodies will continue to consume and keep up with the latest trends in food so that it can be uploaded to Instagram as content. This activity is done to maintain their status quo as the foodies on Instagram. The foodies believe that food consumption and uploading food photos on Instagram are done with a desire to show self-existence on Instagram as its virtual reality. The virtual reality of the foodies is the symbol as 'the foodies' on Instagram itself

Technology is defined as a device to compensate for human physical, psychological, and mental limitations. It is usually neutral, but can havefunctional and dysfunctional aspects based on its users’ intentions.Historically, the technological haves have justified the existence and possessionof new technologies, have publicized their own innocence andsense of responsibility in using them, and have asserted the innocuousnessof their devices without necessarily sharing all of their secrets. Concernedand helpless, the technological have-nots have resisted them and, havingsuffered their deadly devastation, have tried to obtain them at great risk tothemselves. However, the situation of information technology/-ies (IT) isdifferent and more interesting. The haves have attempted to popularizetheir use globally for commercial and other reasons. Many have-nots areembracing them wholeheartedly, while some are more cautious. One motivation behind the use of these technologies is globalization. The increasingly popularized term globalization is rather vague and complex, allowing a variety of interpretations and hidden intentions. Thehave-nots seem to see it as the West’s redoubled efforts at Westernizingthe world with all its pains, pleasures, and perversions; as achieving politicalhegemony as the sole superpower after the end of the Cold War; andas the “opening up of the globe” for commercial control on its own terms.Initially the world, especially the nations of South Asia, saw for themselvesa rare opportunity in the globalization of trade and IT. But since thecontagion has now spread, rather too fast, across the globe, the world cansee more clearly both the prospects and the problems of these two majorglobal trends. The purpose of this paper is to identify various issuesinvolved in these trends, and to discuss, in greater depth, some of them, namely, global business, the promise of technology, and the globalizationof media and culture ...

‘The city of Sofronia is composed of two half cities. One is a large roller coaster with steep bumps, a whirligig with fanning chains, a Ferris wheel with rotating containers, a cylinder with steep wall riders with their heads down, a circus tent with a bunch of trapezes in the ridge. The other half of the city is made of stone and marble and cement, with a bank building, workshops, residential houses, the slaughterhouse, the school and everything else. One half of the city is huge, the other is improvised and when the time of the stay is up, it is taken apart, dismantled and taken to be transferred to the wasteland of another half city’ __Invincible cities, Italo Calvino Rezone wants to make the concept of the city more liquid.. A city where things can change, a flexible city that adapts to the desires of its inhabitants. A city designed by professionals, but also by its citizens. A city where roles are fluid and change. Where the designer becomes the builder, where the builder becomes the adviser, where the citizen becomes the designer. A constant flux and change of roles and structures. Rezone creates open designs, methods and strategies where the influence of the end user is big. With new technologies, it is possible to create personalized designs and methods for everybody. For rezone, experimentation is an important aspect of the working flow. Rolf van Boxmeer has a background in architecture and Tessa Peters has a background in the arts. The crossover of art and architecture brings new insights and is an activist methods and designs that can change the status quo in different urban fields.
