The Status

Content analyses of Indian television programmes on the national network Doordarshan in the 1980s have shown that prime-time shows cast women as docile homemakers and as objects of male desire. This paper uses a critical postcolonial theoretical framework and narrative analysis method to detect ideologies of gender from programmes randomly selected from a month's menu of the transnational, national and regional television networks in the country. A broad conclusion is that Indian television in the late 1990s perpetuates, across channels, the 1980s' stereotypical images of women, images that have their roots in Vedic, colonial, and nationalist literature. The status quo is explained through a critical discussion of the framing of 'woman' in colonial and postcolonial nation-building efforts. The paper also points to the emerging genre of hybrid programming, where the greater incidence of female veejays and talk show hosts paves the way for the expression of female leadership and desire, and leads to more positive television portrayals of women in the 21st century.

<p><i>Digital technology is transforming innovation at its core stanchly in an unceasing manner (Schrage, 2009), (Klein, 2014) and (Tsolis, 2009). In a swiftly rolling competitive digital setting the worth of SWOT analysis for crafting a decent and complying sales strategic plan goes beyond a reasonable doubt (Cates, 2019). Maintaining the status quo might cause consequences that would bottleneck the advance of digital sales and businesses in one or multiple ways (Cory, 2019). This paper examines the worth of properly conducted SWOT analysis in sales strategic planning to increase the effectiveness and competence of online business by expanding volume of sales and augmenting customer satisfaction rates. The study analyses data collected from secondary sources such as pertinent literatures, books, academic journals, and best industry practices. The finding exhibits that SWOT analysis plays a pivotal role in crafting a successful sales strategic plan that helps taking conversant decisions to expand and advance the digital sale volumes and operations.</i></p>

The rapid development of information technology and the proliferation of restaurants and cafes in urban areas make eating activities no longer a primary need. This study examines the phenomenon of uploading food photos on Instagram. Nowadays, when eating out, people tend to take food photos before consuming it. This phenomenon is something that generally happens. The food photo is uploaded to social media, mostly on Instagram. The uploader of food photos on Instagram is known as Instagram Foodies. These symptoms continue to be made by consuming food and eating out not for the purpose of primary needs, but rather on symbolic things. This phenomenon will be examined using Jean Baudrillard's theory about consumer society, who consumes signs to fulfil the desire for selfexistence. This study used a qualitative method by interviewing four foodies who were well known in following the latest trends of foods and places in Jakarta city and taking food photos before consuming it. The result of this study shows that foodies will continue to consume and keep up with the latest trends in food so that it can be uploaded to Instagram as content. This activity is done to maintain their status quo as the foodies on Instagram. The foodies believe that food consumption and uploading food photos on Instagram are done with a desire to show self-existence on Instagram as its virtual reality. The virtual reality of the foodies is the symbol as 'the foodies' on Instagram itself

Using part of data of the study "Preserving village space in the Bac Ninh’s central urban area" conducted by Bac Ninh Institute of Planning and Architecture and other available data sources from books, newspapers, magazines, Internet, combined with many reseach methods such as the percentage analysis method, the comparative method, this article focuses on three issues: (1) Current situation of villages in the central urban area of ​​Bac Ninh province today, (2) Contents to be preserved in villages in the central urban area of ​​Bac Ninh province, (3) Conservation methods of Korea’s Hahoe village and experience for Bac Ninh. Some of the main results obtained from this study are as follows. Firstly, most of the villages in the Bac Ninh’s central urban area still retain clear traditional village forms. Secondly, the main contents that need to be preserved in villages include: natural landscape, cultural characteristics, public works and ancient architectural works. Thirdly, it is possible to flexibly apply Korea’s village conservation models such as preserving and restoring the status quo of traditional residential architectural landscape as well as community living space, promoting the design of practical experience programs that engage both local people and tourists, maximizing the autonomy of the Association for Conservation of Traditional Villages established and managed by the local people.

Tourism shopping is an important part of the tourism industry as well as the regional economy. Tourism souvenirs sales, in most of the developed tourism areas, account for more than 35% of the total tourism revenues, and even in some individual regions the proportion can achieve more than 50%. But in China this proportion is only 20%. In this article, the corresponding analysis method is used to calculate and analyze the status quo of souvenir network marketing of the tourism website in China and Korea. The article describes the advantages and disadvantages of the tourism souvenirs network marketing in China and Korea, finding the deficiencies in China and analyzing the causes and providing the corresponding reference for the healthy development of China's tourism industry.

As one of the important renewable energy for relieving of the human energy crisis, the exploitation and utilization of wind energy, and the encouragement of wind power industry help to realize the development of low-carbon economy in China. From the theory of urban ecosystem, using emergy analysis method founded by Odum, this paper analyzed the emergy flow of Hefei city systematically, and evaluated the status of the natural environment of its ecosystem and its socioeconomic sustainable development through a series of emergy indices. The results showed that the environment loading ratio of Hefei urban ecosystem was 19.71, emergy sustainable indices(ESI) and emergy index for sustainable development (EISD) was 0.0425, 0.0507, respectively in 2010, slightly higher than the neighboring capital cities. This indicated that Hefei had strong sustainable development ability. In 2010, the input emergy of eco-economic system of Hefei city was 2.35×1022sej, the output emergy was 1.95×1022sej, the surplus emergy was 0.40×1022sej, which indicated that the emergy of Hefei city continued to increase and accumulate, and this was the real reason of the rapid development of Hefei city in recent years.

It has always been one of the hot spots of the whole society to improve teachers&rsquo; quality and ability. With the progress of the era and the rapid development of biology, it puts forward higher requirements for the cultivation of biology teachers of middle school. How to cultivate a large number of high-quality biology teachers of middle school with good ethics and outstanding abilities is a focus problem worth exploring. There are some problems in the traditional training mode of biology normal students, such as backward teaching idea, unreasonable teaching arrangement and uneven teaching level. In view of these problems, normal universities should take a series of reform measures to promote the professional development of middle school biology teachers. Therefore, this paper summarizes the reform necessity, current situation and existing problems of the talent training mode. It also puts forward a series of reform measures on the talent training mode in the aspects of learning, innovation and reflection. Thus, this paper will provide important reference for the reform of talent training mode of middle school biology teachers in the future.
