The competence of public servants has a direct impact on a country’s administrative performance, for which governments provide considerable funding and training. Therefore, their behaviors toward e-government learning are worth examining. This study investigated the factors influencing the behavioral intention of public servants toward adopting e-government learning. The unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) was adopted as the theoretical basis for analysis, and three constructs, behavioral attitude, barrier factor, and policy factor were added to obtain a more complete perspective and to enhance explanatory power. The results indicated that the research model, apart from fully demonstrating the characteristics of the research subject, identified the key factors to facilitate the policy-making processes of the government agency in charge of e-government learning.

The availability of website for an institution is very important, especially for an educational institution just like ABC University. The website can become a mean of communication from the institute to its stake holder: students, parents, industries, lecturers, administrators, and government or from the stakeholders to the institution. The availability of website is also important to increase the image of the institution, since there is university web ranking published by WeboMatrix. ABC University has already built its website and communicated, socialized as well the availability of its website to all students, lecturers, and administrator. So far the adoption of the websites by students, lecturers, and administrators especially by using the Modified Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model has not been explored. This lack of knowledge motivated the researcher to conduct this study. This study investigates the key factors that affect the behavioral intention and used behavior of customers toward the use of the website in ABC University Indonesia. The approach employed for this study is based on a modified unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model. A survey method was employed to gather data from 310 respondents coming from the students, lecturers, administrator, and management. The collected data was analyzed using a quantitative investigation. The partial least squares (PLS) method was used to quantitatively evaluate the impact of the key constructs of the modified UTAUT model. This research clearly confirmed that modified UTAUT model which consists ofperformance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, andcontentcan be used to determinebehavioral intentionof consumers to use Website.

Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending platform is relatively new to Indonesian market and it managed to dominate Financial Technology in Indonesia by 2019. This fast growth is influenced by simple borrowing and lending activity regulation compared to more traditional markets like banks. Most of previous studies had been focusing on borrowers’ side whereas the lender's side was minimally highlighted. Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2) is used to analyze key factors that affect the usage of P2P Lending with addition of trust and risk. This research used SmartPLS to calculate the effect of each variable and found that effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating condition, trust, and risk have positive effects on lenders intention to use the P2P lending platform

Nations are making huge investments to ensure that their citizens receive the education so that they can contribute to different aspects of development of a country. Despite the investments in education in many countries, researches show that there is need to improve the quality of education offered in tertiary institutions. To improve the quality of education offered institution of higher learning need to consider approaches that place students at the center of the learning process. One such approach is to use mobile application-aided collaborative learning. Mobile application-aided Collaborative learning promises great benefits to students and institutions. However, to successfully implement mobile application aided collaborative learning, it is important to determine if students are ready to use it. In this paper, we use the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to determine the key factors that should be put in place for collaborative learning to be used successfully. The main contribution that this paper makes is that, it identifies the factors that Copperbelt University needs to work on so that collaborative learning can be used more effectively.

Background Diabetes poses heavy social and economic burdens worldwide. Diabetes management apps show great potential for diabetes self-management. However, the adoption of diabetes management apps by diabetes patients is poor. The factors influencing patients’ intention to use these apps are unclear. Understanding the patients’ behavioral intention is necessary to support the development and promotion of diabetes app use. Objective This study aimed to identify the determinants of patients’ intention to use diabetes management apps based on an integrated theoretical model. Methods The hypotheses of our research model were developed based on an extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). From April 20 to May 20, 2019, adult patients with diabetes across China, who were familiar with diabetes management apps, were surveyed using the Web-based survey tool Sojump. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data. Results A total of 746 participants who met the inclusion criteria completed the survey. The fitness indices suggested that the collected data fit well with the research model. The model explained 62.6% of the variance in performance expectancy and 57.1% of the variance in behavioral intention. Performance expectancy and social influence had the strongest total effects on behavioral intention (β=0.482; P=.001). Performance expectancy (β=0.482; P=.001), social influence (β=0.223; P=.003), facilitating conditions (β=0.17; P=.006), perceived disease threat (β=0.073; P=.005), and perceived privacy risk (β=–0.073; P=.012) had direct effects on behavioral intention. Additionally, social influence, effort expectancy, and facilitating conditions had indirect effects on behavioral intention that were mediated by performance expectancy. Social influence had the highest indirect effects among the three constructs (β=0.259; P=.001). Conclusions Performance expectancy and social influence are the most important determinants of the intention to use diabetes management apps. Health care technology companies should improve the usefulness of apps and carry out research to provide clinical evidence for the apps’ effectiveness, which will benefit the promotion of these apps. Facilitating conditions and perceived privacy risk also have an impact on behavioral intention. Therefore, it is necessary to improve facilitating conditions and provide solid privacy protection. Our study supports the use of UTAUT in explaining patients’ intention to use diabetes management apps. Context-related determinants should also be taken into consideration.

Digitalizing tax collection systems through electronic tax filing (e-filing) could have the potential of maximizing revenues to concerned authorities as it blocks leakages that undermine collection efforts. In this article, the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) is expanded to explain the structural effects of trust in e-filing software on e-filing acceptance intention among micro-entrepreneurs in the services sector. A quantitative research design was adopted with data collected from 158 micro-entrepreneurs in five services sectors which was analyzed through PLS-SEM. From the analyses, it was found that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence significantly influence both trust in e-filing software and e-filing acceptance intention. Interestingly, the results revealed significant structural mediating effects of trust in e-filing among the three variables. These findings expand the explanatory power of UTAUT in relation to structural effects of trust in e-filing in the services sector. Equally, it will benefit policymakers in designing e-filing software in such a way to meet the users' requirements relating to language and compatibility.
