E-government services have become a vital tool to provide citizens with more accessible, accurate and high-quality services and information. E-government system provides an efficient dissemination of information to people and eases people to communicate directly with government services. The utilization of ICT through e-government enhancing efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery in the public sector. The system is regarded as one of the vital elements to be a developed country. The application of e-government indicates the readiness and ability of the nation utilizing technology within public administration periscope. Although the Malaysian government has introduced e-government for many years, its acceptance still not very high. Therefore, this paper studies the key factors of Malaysian citizens’ in Sintok, Kedah, a semi- rural area on approval on e-government services based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and the Use of Technology (UTAUT Model). The survey data was collected from 83% respondents to measure people understanding and awareness toward e-government system. The results show that there is an excellent understanding among Malaysian towards e-government system.

The availability of website for an institution is very important, especially for an educational institution just like ABC University. The website can become a mean of communication from the institute to its stake holder: students, parents, industries, lecturers, administrators, and government or from the stakeholders to the institution. The availability of website is also important to increase the image of the institution, since there is university web ranking published by WeboMatrix. ABC University has already built its website and communicated, socialized as well the availability of its website to all students, lecturers, and administrator. So far the adoption of the websites by students, lecturers, and administrators especially by using the Modified Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model has not been explored. This lack of knowledge motivated the researcher to conduct this study. This study investigates the key factors that affect the behavioral intention and used behavior of customers toward the use of the website in ABC University Indonesia. The approach employed for this study is based on a modified unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model. A survey method was employed to gather data from 310 respondents coming from the students, lecturers, administrator, and management. The collected data was analyzed using a quantitative investigation. The partial least squares (PLS) method was used to quantitatively evaluate the impact of the key constructs of the modified UTAUT model. This research clearly confirmed that modified UTAUT model which consists ofperformance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, andcontentcan be used to determinebehavioral intentionof consumers to use Website.

Electronic government are in their early stages in many city in Indonesia. Local government has faced a number of challenges and faced with various issues pertaining to their implementation of e-government services.  This paper utilises the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of technology (UTAUT) model to explore e-government services in Dumai city. The purpose of this paper to present a concept idea to seeing intention to use e-government in Dumai City. The Paper suggest future research with quantitative approach to find aspect to consider in producing significant and credible research findings. This study explored the important role of demographic factors such as gender, age, and education in the adoption of mobile government (m-government) services. The Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) model was used as the theoretical foundation whiles the data was captured and analyzed with SPSS and SmartPLS. The results have demonstrated that gender is a significant predictor of both the intention to use and performance expectancy of m-government services. However, gender does not determine mobile self-efficacy. In addition, age and education were both were significant predictors of performance expectancy, mobile self-efficacy and the intention to use m-government services respectively. The implications of these and other findings of the study are thoroughly discussed.

E-governance is a paradigm shift over the traditional approaches in Public Administration which means rendering of government services and information to the public by using electronic means. In the past decades, service quality and responsiveness of the government towards the citizens were least important but with the approach of E-Government the government activities are now well dealt. This paper withdraws experiences from various studies from different countries and projects facing similar challenges which need to be consigned for the successful implementation of e-governance projects. Developing countries like India face poverty and illiteracy as a major obstacle in any form of development which makes it difficult for its government to provide e-services to its people conveniently and fast. It also suggests few suggestions to cope up with the challenges faced while implementing e-projects in India.

As the Web is growing exponentially, the way of provision governmental information and services has been changed by the newly supplied technological capacities and digital channels. More and more governments all over the world are trying to acquire an electronic profile, in order to offer advanced services to their users (citizens and businesses). Two basic factors have significant contribution to this direction. The first considers the continuous increase of the users’ daily needs (e.g., information searching, certificate requesting). Traditionally, the completion of these tasks implies a lot of valuable time to be lost in the tracking of responsible actor and in the waiting in queues. The second one refers to the ongoing access of the users with the Internet. This new way of communication facilitates the transactions and helps in providing better public services. It is clear that e-government’s successful development and operation demands proper design, which will comprise the basis for its application. Information and communication technologies (ICT) may contribute essentially to this direction, as long as government and users adopt them under the framework of a broader reorganization of the public sector. This adaptation can be implemented gradually in levels, which will enable the unobstructed data flow from/to government and will give the opportunity to citizens and businesses to obtain the highest access to the provided governmental services. Only under these circumstances, this transition will lead to a series of strategic, administrative and operational benefits (NOIE, 2003; OGC, 2003), for example, best coverage of users’ needs, cost and time savings, and so forth. This article is intended to present a level-based approach for the development of e-government services, starting from the lowest one to the highest and more complicated. Following gradually this sequence of technological levels and incorporating with strategy, coordination, and know-how, an organization can realize the vision of e-government, provide reliable online information and services to their users and improve their efficiency and effectiveness.

Many governments around the world aim seriously to make their services available online and deliver it to their citizens in professional and secure manner. E-government services aims to improve and facilitate the communication between government and citizens by increasing the usage of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in government operations. It will provide all government services in electronic form to all citizens in a timely, easy, high quality and effective manner with great productivity and time savings. However, user acceptance is one of the essential keys for adoption and success of e-government application and services. Many studies emphasize that trust is one of the important factors in the adoption studies of e-government. This paper examines the effect of trust as independent variable of the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology (UTAUT) model on user’s acceptance and use of e-government services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Based on the amended (UTAUT) model we study the impact of trust on the adoption of e-government services form citizens’ perception.
