Calculation of the blank twist angle at processing with planetary turning

The work deals with consideration of the technology of forming many-sided outer surfaces with the variable profile of planetary turning. The peculiarities of this technology were detected and the actuality of the research problem was specified. The essence of study lies in the determination of the cutting force’s effect on the blank rigidity. The calculation scheme and mathematical model, which allow studying the cutting forces effect on the rigidity of technological system during processing, were stated. The dependence of blank rigidity on the form of cross section processing with multiple-blade instrument with planetary movement was determined. The mathematical expression of the allowable twist angle under effect of cutting forces on the blank was offered. This study can be applied as the test calculation at projecting of technological rigging and setting modes of cutting at forming of many-sided outer surfaces with variable profile of planetary turning.

The article discusses the process of stress and strain changes for an energy-intensive profile with a square cross-section as a result of axial compression, expressed using a mathematical apparatus that allows determination of the load-bearing capacity of such a profile, the use of which in the form of stringers is found in modern automotive body constructions . Elements, such as the so-called a zone of controlled crumpling, taking over part of the impact energy, at the same time being responsible for the progressive nature of the deformation of this area.

The paper presents a new ventilation system characterized by the cross-section of the channels in the shape of a rounded rectangle. The basic research problem was the determination of local losses in the system components. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to know the linear losses in the ducts. The principle of determining both types of losses was presented. The friction coefficients of linear pressure losses referred to the unit of the straight length of the duct section ζl[m−1] as well as generalized dimensionless friction coefficient of linear pressure losses λ [-] is presented. The main achievement of the paper is the statement that the lambda coefficient λ can replace the coefficients ζl examined duct cross-sections.

The paper presents a mathematical model that allows the determination of sphericity deviation for milling of kinematic generated spherical surfaces, considering the influence of the adjustment errors of the technological system over the processing accuracy. The model highlights the importance of diminishing the adjustment errors and the clearances in the technological system. Also, the mathematical model allows the selection of a processing technological system according to the desired accuracy for the manufactured spherical parts.

For an accepted physical model with allowance of cutting “on a trace” phenomena, the initial mathematical model for want of processing non-rigid shafts is considered. In this model the improper rigidities of an elastic system are taken into account. In particular, pliability of a technological system on coordinate X in relation to cutting forces component on Y coordinate. Considered the individual models of dynamic system of turning machines for want of small rigidity shafts processing with management on the channel of additional managing force effects, which with a sufficient degree of an exactitude can be used in engineering accounts.

Purpose. Construction of a general modular mathematical spatial model of the removal allowance process and shaping when milling round surfaces of rotation, such as camshaft necks, cylindrical surfaces of gearbox shafts and others. Determination of the components of the cutting forces when machining with crossed axes of the milling cutter and part in order to use the results when assigning machining modes. Methodology. Theoretical development of a modular mathematical model of the removal allowance process and shaping during milling of cylindrical surfaces was carried out using a matrix apparatus for converting coordinate systems. Unified modules were developed: instrumental, orientation and shaping, which allowed us to describe the processing of the part more clearly. All calculations were performed in the mathematical package Mathcad. Using the functions available in the package, a graphical representation of the mathematical model of the tool and machined surfaces was obtained. Using the logical blocks developed in the program, the characteristics of the treated surface were investigated, such as roughness in the axial and radial planes. The influence of the tool orientation angle and the number of cutter teeth on the roughness of the machined surface was investigated. The known formulas for calculating the cutting forces during milling are specified. Findings. A general modular mathematical spatial model is constructed of the removal process of an allowance and formation at milling by the oriented tool of round surfaces of rotation, such as necks of camshafts, cylindrical surfaces of shafts of transmissions and others. The roughness parameters of the treated surface are determined. The outflow of the tool characteristics and the angle of its orientation on the geometric roughness in the axial and radial sections is investigated. The area of the layer cut off by one tooth of a mill is defined. The calculation formulas are specified for finding the components of cutting forces during milling. Originality. A modular spatial model of the process of milling cylindrical surfaces with an oriented tool is proposed, on the basis of which the components of cutting forces are calculated, which can be used in designing new tools and improving machining conditions by the existing ones. Practical value. Based on the use of modern computer facilities and software, the developed calculation program allows controlling the process of forming cylindrical surfaces during their milling with an oriented tool. It also allows predicting the initial machining accuracy by determining the parameters of geometric roughness in axial and radial sections. This makes it possible to choose the optimal tool orientation angle, milling cutter parameters and cutting modes to achieve high productivity and processing quality.

Microanalysis by EELS has been developing rapidly and though the general form of the spectrum is now understood there is a need to put the technique on a more quantitative basis (1,2). Malaria is one of the health problems in Indonesia, especially West Sumatra. Determination of the description of Malaria disease in an area is needed to determine the spread and severity of the disease. This study aims to determine the frequency distribution according to age, sex and place of residence, description of the types of Plasmodium causes of Malaria and hematological features in Malaria patients at Siti Rahmah Padang Hospital in 2018. This type of research is a descriptive observational study with an approach or design cross section (cross sectional). The frequency distribution of Malaria sufferers in Siti Rahmah Padang Hospital in 2018 according to the highest age was in the age group 21-30 years as many as 28 cases (36.8%), the highest sex among men was 46 (60.5%) and the highest number of residences was found in Koto Tangah sub-district there were 31 cases (40.8%). The type of Plasmodium found in Malaria cases in Siti Rahmah Padang Hospital in 2018 was P. vivax (73 cases (96.05%)) and P. falciparum (3 cases (3.95%)). The results of laboratory tests on Hb, hematocrit, platelet and leukocyte levels in Malaria positive patients in Siti Rahmah Padang Hospital in 2018 were in the normal range.
