Spatial literacy is related to the ability to use mathematics related to geometry. Prospective elementary school teachers need to master spatial literacy. However, the spatial literacy of PGSD students is still unsatisfactory. One of the lecturers' efforts to improve the quality of learning. An inquiry-assisted inquiry model of educational props can be an alternative. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the inquiry model assisted by educational teaching aids influences spatial literacy. This research is a quasi-experimental study with the population of semester I PGSD students in 2019/2020. Through purposive sampling, researchers chose class D as the experimental class and class F as the control class. Data obtained through the test method. Data analysis uses a mean different test. The results showed that there was an influence of the inquiry model assisted by educational teaching aids on spatial literacy.

What pragmatics are we currently teaching (2017) in Romania in applied foreign languages study programmes? In Romania, French as a foreign language at the undergraduate level is taught in two study programmes: Languages and Literatures and Applied Foreign Languages (LEA). Initiated more than twenty years ago, the LEA programmes have been a real success with Romanian students and, alongside traditional courses in literature, are currently implemented in several universities. Having analysed some key reference documents of Romanian universities (mainly syllabi and course descriptions), I propose how to achieve better results in a course on pragmatics offered at the University of Piteşti. My proposals focus specifically on the selection of contents, methods and teaching aids aimed at equipping our students with professional skills appropriate to the current job market. Key words: course description; language and literature; LEA; syllabus; pragmatics.

The COVID-19 is an ongoing global pandemic, caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). The virus was first identified in December 2019 in Wuhan, China. The COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 resulted in the abrupt shutting of all the educational institutions (schools, colleges, and universities) in India. This resulted in dramatic changes in the education system with the distinctive rise of e-learning, whereby teaching is undertaken remotely and on digital platforms. Online learning is a competent and contactless method of teaching to remotely located students. Geography is a branch of science which deals with the study of the earth’s surface and the relationships between people and their environment. Geographers explore both the physical properties of the earth’s surface and the human societies spread across it. The subject matter of Geography containing different theory papers and practical papers cannot just be effectively taught in a classroom or laboratory but best enlightened on the field. For the effective learning process in the subject of Geography, students require on-ground observations, laboratory analysis, projects and dissertations, field surveying, computer mapping and analysis, field trips and excursions, etc. It helps the budding Geographers to acquire not only theoretical knowledge but also practical skills. But the COVID-19 pandemic situation confronted the education system, forcing the educators in the field of Geography to shift to an online mode of teaching, leaving them with no option. During this crisis, the educators have given their best in teaching the subject matter of Geography to the students by using various open-source teaching aids by overcoming the issues like lack of training and professional technical support. This altered the traditional teaching and learning process in the field of Geography, which essentially affects the students of Geography. Thus, a case study was undertaken to assess the online teaching in the subject of Geography at the undergraduate level during the academic year 2020-21 from the student’s perspective.

This classroom action research aims to improve student achievement by applying role playing method in civic education education material impact of globalization. There are several problems found in the field observation, among others, the low achievement of students in civic education learning (Civics) with several factors that influence, among others, from students, families, material understanding, teachers and the use of teaching aids. Furthermore, by using the role playing method, the writer found a good learning achievement change that is from the result of data analysis of student's learning skill in class, reaching the average value of cycle class I is 67,50 and on second cycle equal to 77,50 and increase as big as 10.00, with completeness level in cycle I equal to 65,55%. In the second cycle of 95.45% Achievement of power seraf in cycle I 73.82%, the second cycle of 79.52% so that an increase of 5.70%

This article compares and contrasts two dictionaries: The American Heritage College Dictionary and the Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary. This review is written to provide English language learners – and others – who are taking undergraduate-level courses in linguistics, with in-depth advice on how to best support and augment their previously assigned textbooks. Specifically, the author seeks to make a case for how these two dictionaries are the most constructive for students taking courses that focus on semantics and pragmatics. Both of these texts contain extensive and detailed knowledge for students majoring in English. The reviewer examines key aspects of the two volumes in this comparison, including: front and back matter, range of contents and illustrations, and the organization of the entries. Other areas that are explored are how each dictionary deals with connotational meaning, collocational information, expressions related to the headword, and controversial usage issues. The findings of this author reveal that both texts are valuable additions to the library of any undergraduate student studying linguistics and the English language. Each volume has its strong points, making both dictionaries beneficial and essential to students of English. However, these particular texts are strongly recommended for the student for whom English is not the native language.

This research is motivated by the learning carried out by teachers is less attractive to elementary school students, resulting in student learning outcomes being low. The purpose of this study is to improve teacher teaching skills in designing teaching aids assisted by group guidance. This research is a school action research conducted at the Lubuk Batu Jaya sub-district target schools. The implementation of this study began February 18 to April 27, 2019. The subjects of this study were 4 groups of Mathematics teachers. Data analysis techniques are carried out through steps: data reduction, data presentation, verification. The results of the study showed an increase from cycle I to cycle II with the percentage and each category being 62% (sufficient) and 73% (good).

Clinical teaching in Ophthalmology is a big challenge. In the words of a senior professor, “I still remember those days when I used to be an undergraduate student of medicine in 1964-67 and later on as a post graduate in 1968-71, there used to be a batch of twenty to twenty-five students for OPD or indoor clinics for case presentations. The case was being shown on the indirect ophthalmoscope or slitlamp or in the operation theatre. Since it was not possible that all the students could see the patients individually by torch or on slitlamp or on any other device, therefore we had to rely most of the time on the statements of our teachers.” Now the scenario has entirely changed. All the equipments are attached with electronic devices and projection on computer monitor or much higher magnification, with the help of LCD projector, to larger group of students is possible. Thus, Ophthalmic teaching has become much easier and simpler because the teachers and the students see and discuss the same things together, at the same time. There is no need of giving the false consent of understanding when one has not comprehended what is being taught.
