Prediction of technological processes in various sectors of the food industry using mathematical modeling is becoming increasingly important. The paper describes the effect of various factors on the grain weight after germination by the method of correlation-regression analysis. Using this modeling method, based on the established relationship, it is possible to predict the weight of the grain after germination in various conditions.

The purpose of this research is to find out: 1) The relationship of leg muscle strength to the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 2) Relationship between ankle coordination and the result of shooting the ball silently towards the goal. 3) The relationship between leg muscle strength and ankle coordination towards the results of shooting the ball silently towards the goal. The method used in this study is a method of correlation with test and measurement techniques. Data analysis was carried out by a computerized system with simple or multiple regression analysis. The population in this study were students who participated in extra-curricular football at Pontianak's N 8 High School, totaling 22 people. In this study, there was no sampling technique because it took all the population who participated in 22 extra-curricular activities. The results of the analysis of the data obtained indicate that: 1) There is a relationship between leg muscle strength to the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 2) There is a coordination relationship between the ankles and the result of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. 3) There is a relationship between leg muscle strength and ankle coordination towards the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. The amount of donation given by leg muscle strength to the results of silent ball shooting towards the goal was 52.1%, while the coordination contribution of the ankle to the results of silent ball shooting towards the goal was 25.3%. While the magnitude of the contribution given by the two variables, namely leg muscle strength and ankle coordination was 59% of the results of shooting the silent ball towards the goal. It is recommended that in addition to practicing silent ball shooting techniques towards the goal, leg muscle strength should be taken into consideration for the trainer in giving a portion of training.

Background: The food industry in Malaysia has experienced significant development, especially in the halal food sector. The halal food industry is a market segment involved with food items and beverages that are strictly prepared according to rules underlined by the Islamic dietary law. In addition, the concept of halal covers not only Syariah law, but also hygiene, sanitation and food safety requirements. Malaysia has become a major global halal hub in delivering halal food to local and international levels. The significant development of halal food industry in Malaysia creates significant job opportunities for new graduating students.  Therefore, this study aims to evaluate factors that influence student intention to choose a career for the halal food industry in Malaysia. Research Methodology: This study using a quantitative research method with questionnaire development in assessing the factors that influence intention of students to involve in halal food industry as their future career. The underpinning theory is Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). The independent variables are Attitude (A), Subjective Norm (SN) and Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC). This study developed four questions for each variable. Unit of analysis for respondents is university students in Malaysia. The sample size is 40 students that have an interest in working for halal food industry in Malaysia. The correlation analysis was analyzed using Pearson Correlation coefficient analysis. Meanwhile, the causal relationship was analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Results: The skewness values for four variables in this study are between -1 and +1 that indicates normal distribution. The value of Cronbach’s alpha statistical test for measuring internal reliability is larger than 0.7 for all four variables. Therefore, four constructs exhibit good reliability that indicates the suitability of internal consistency. Next, the value of R-squared for model fit in this study is 0.675 that indicates a good model fit that explained 67.5% of variance in dependent variable. Multiple regression analysis indicates Attitudes (A), Subjective Norm (SN) and Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC) are significant in predicting the value of Intention (I) to select a career in halal food industry. Conclusion: This study supported the hypothesis that indicates there is a positive and significant relationship of Attitude (A), Subjective Norm (SN) and Perceived Behavioral Control (PBC) towards Intention (I). The findings of this study add value to theoretical knowledge of career selection among university students. At the same time, this study provides guideline for government in developing better policy in cultivating interest among university students to be highly involved in the halal food industry.

Mechanical biology is the study of the influence of the mechanical environment on human health, disease, or injury. To study the mechanism of the organism’s perception and response to mechanical signals can promote the development of biomedical basic and clinical research, and promote human health. The purpose of this paper is to study the mathematical modeling method of the effect of multimodal mechanical signals on cell stretching and compression. This article first established a cell mechanics model based on the generalization of membrane theory, introduced the micro-manipulation techniques used to characterize cell mechanics and the method of cell mechanics loading, and then explained why mathematical modeling was established. Finally, according to the multi-modality During the mechanical preparation process, the effects of multi-modal mechanical signals on the stretching and compression of annulus fibrosus stem cells were studied. The experimental results in this paper show that after planting fibrous stem cells with different elastic modulus, the cell proliferation is obvious after the tensile mechanical stimulation of different conditions, and the different elastic modulus scaffolds are stimulated by the tensile mechanical stimulation of 2% tensile amplitude. The cell morphology is different. The low elastic modulus is round-like, and the high elastic modulus is fusiform-like. After 5% and 12% stretch amplitude, the cells are oriented at different elastic modulus. Arranged, there is no obvious difference in cell morphology.

Abstract In the current period, more and more economic agents involved in producing and trading food are tempted to avoid certain standards of safety and innocuousness of agricultural and technological processes in order to maximize profit. There are often situations in which food producers with the will of a quick return do not realize or do not measure the adverse effects that may arise on life, health, environment and thus on sustainable development. This paper tries to determine the degree of compliance with safety rules imposed by manufacturers in the food industry but also the factors that may cause the consumer purchasing decision in the context of uncertainty about the harmlessness of food. The food correctly and environmentally made, stored, transported and traded contributes to a sustainable development, aspect that will be the subject of our study.
