This research aims to examine the effect of teaching by using strategies that stimulate neural branching in creative and critical thinking of study groups. The sample of this study consisted of two experimental groups and a control group. In terms of the treatment, one experimental group was taught using strategies that stimulate the neural branching in human brain mentally. The other experimental group was taught using the same strategies supported by technology. The control group was taught using the traditional instruction. The sample included (95) male student and (102) female students from two schools of the governorate of Muscat. To answer the research questions, Torrance test of creative thinking (TTCT) and Watson & Glaser critical thinking test (WGCTT) were used. The results show that the experimental groups significantly outperformed the control group with respect to the creative thinking test. However there were no statistically significant differences between the study's groups in the critical thinking test. This study recommends investment of mental capacities of the learners to encourage creative thinking and train teachers on using methods that stimulate neural branching.

This research aims to identify the impact of Daniel's model on the development of critical thinking. In order to achieve this objective, the following hypotheses are formulated: There is no statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the average differences in the post-test scores of the experimental group taught according to Daniel's model and the control group taught according to the traditional method in the measure of critical thinking.  There is no statistically significant difference at the significance level (0.05) between the average differences in the pre- and post-tests scores of the experimental group taught according to Daniel's model in the measure of critical thinking. The current research is limited to a sample of the first stage students in the department of statistics, College of Management and Economics, Baghdad University for the academic year 2019-2020. The California critical thinking test is applied in the post-test to the control group, which consisted of (47) students, and the experimental group, which consisted of (44) students. After using T-test for two independent and related samples, the results show that: There is a statistically significant difference between the average of the scores of the two research groups in favor of the experimental group. Therefore, the null hypothesis rejected and the alternative hypothesis is accepted that there is a statistically significant difference between the average of scores of the experimental and control groups in the post-test of critical thinking. There is a statistically significant difference between the average of scores of the experimental group students in the pre- and post-tests of the creative thinking. This refers to a development in the critical thinking among the students of the experimental group. In the light of the results, a number of conclusions, recommendations and suggestions are presented at the end of this research.

The purpose of the study was to explore the effectiveness of a training program of enhancing Arabic language teaching practices on developing grade-ten students’ reading comprehension skills in Oman. The study sample consisted of 40 teachers and 400 male and female students. A training program, an observation form and a reading comprehension test were developed. The results showed there are statistically significant differences between the average scores of the experimental and the control groups after applying the teaching practices for developing reading comprehension skills (the literal, the inferential, the critical, the aesthetic and the creative). This also applied to the total score, with the experimental group outperforming the control group. There is no statistically significant effect of the interaction between the study group type and gender in developing these skills among Arabic language teachers. The study results indicated that there are differences in developing reading comprehension skills between male and female grade-ten students in both study groups, in favor of females. The researcher recommends organizing training courses for Arabic language teachers to improve reading comprehension skills when analyzing a passage and to benefit from the designed observation form. Keywords: training, teaching practices, reading comprehension * This article is extracted from an unpublished PhD dissertation by the first author, Maryam Hasan Al Balushi, titled " The effectiveness of a training program based on the constructivism theory in developing the practices of Arabic teachers in develping the reading comprehension skills of grade ten student in the Sultanate of Oman and teachers attitudes towards constructive teaching. AbstractIntroduction: In this article, we want to point out what kind of pedagogical and didactic change is being recorded in Slovakia’s education system and we will point out where it could go and develop to achieve positive results. This article is one of the upcoming outputs in the form of paper and study on the provision of structured, analytical and critical thinking (SAC). In the article, it is shown how the situation has changed and how we perceive the attitude of students during the educational process. Next, it is described current problems and inadequacies in the educational process and define how to use a change of thinking to increase motivation and improve access to knowledge.Purpose: In general, there is a consensus that it is important for teachers to be able to guide their students to problem-solving skills (Aktaş & Ünlü, 2013). It is pointed out that, with the right educational tools, such skills can be stimulated, developed and improved (Jordaan & Jordaan, 2005). This article is designed for all levels of education, but we are mostly concerned with educating future educators. Methods: In this paper, there are described methods that can help to improve the quality of thinking of students and thus increase the level of thinking of the whole society. This article take inspiration from important historical personalities as well as relevant current personalities in their professions. Critical, analytical and creative thinking, also based on logical and structured thinking, is our main method of our educational process. Conclusion: In conclusion, it is pointed out the need to develop SAC as a whole. It is important for the general publica to have better skills in SAC, for example, from the point of view of cognitive mistakes in experts, in the field of political literacy, recognition of misinformation and a better general awareness of rational thinking. As can be seen, SAC is not only about education, but it also closely affects society as a whole.
