The land requirement for Putri Betung Sub District in Gunung Leuser National Park (GLNP) area kept increasing along with the population growth. The population density in the Putri Betung Sub-district was driven by the need for cultivation and residential area along the GLNP conservation boundary. This study aims to analyze the space adequacy for Putri Betung Sub-District in the GLNP area based on the population pressure prediction for 20 years. The research method was conducted by field survey using remote sensing, interviewed the residents, and analyzed the population pressure index using the Soemarwoto formula. The Population Pressure Index (PPI) for the cultivation area was determined from 13 villages in Putri Betung Subdistrict and shows that 12 villages had a PPI 1 value (population pressure was over the land carrying capacity limits). Only one village had PPI 1 (population pressure less than the land carrying capacity. Based on data surveys obtained, the cultivation area set in the Putri Betung area was no longer sufficient for population, resulting from the expansion in the GLNP area of 4,776.97 ha. Meanwhile, predictive analysis on space adequacy for people living decently in Putri Betung Sub District for 20 upcoming years is 6117.15 ha. In conclusion, 12 out of 13 villages in the Putri Betung SubDistrict have PPI 1 value, which is inversely proportional to the land carrying capacity. The PPI values could result in other pressures on the ecology and biodiversity conservation in National Park. It is suggested that the government need to surpass the pressure by making new policy on people’s resettlement, expanding the cultivation area, or shifting people's livelihoods

Jatibarang reservoir serves as water supply in dry season and controlling flood in Semarang City. This reservoir is stem Kreo River which cathment areas of 54 km2, pool of area 110 ha and volume is 20 billion m3. This reservoir is potential to develop as natural fisheries area. The goals of this research were to explore existing condition of physical, biological as well as chemical parameter; carrying capacity assessment for natural fisheries; determining appropriate fish species to be developed in Jatibarang reservoir. This research was done in descriptive explorative scheme. Field survey and laboratory analyses were conducted to identify physical, chemical and biological parameters of the water. Physical parameters measured were temperature and water brightness. Chemical parameters measured were pH, DO, phosphate, Ammonia, nitrites and nitrate, while biological parameter measured were chlorophyll-a concentration. Carrying capacity analyses was done referred to the Government Regulation Number 82, 2001 that regulate the management of water quality and water pollution control. Based on the research, it showed that the existing condition of physical, chemical and biological parameters were still good to be used for natural fisheries. Based on TSI index, it classified as eutrofic water. Furthermore, tilapia fish (Oreochromis mossambicus), nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) tawes (Barbonymus gonionotus) and carper fish (Cyprinus carpio) were considered as best species for natural fisheries in Jatibarang Reservoir.

Tourism has been the backbone of Indonesia’s economy in the last three years.Contribution of tourism to national GDP is expected to increase to 15% by 2019. Those target is encouraging the development of tourism in many tourist potential areas, such as Karimunjawa. Karimunjawa is an area of 27 small islands including 22 protected islands within the area (Karimunjawa National Park). The Government has made policies in the development of tourism on small islands. The problem is on the implementation of those policy in Karimunjawa from the point of view of policy maker, policy implementer, and target group (Karimunjawa community). The result of a qualitative research conducted in 2018 on tourism development in Karimunjawa showed that tourism development in Karimunjawa has not been sustainable. Even though it has opened up new jobs and added income to the community, there has been changes of community’s values and environmental damage on some spot areas. There is a need for an integrated plan that involves many sectors and stakeholders. The plan includes spatial planning, calculation of its carrying capacity (ecological, physical, and social), analysis or study on environmental impact, utilization of natural resources in an environmentally friendly manner, and roles and responsibilities of each stakeholder involved in tourism development. There is also a need for visitor quota based on the calculation of carrying capacity as well as additional attractions to increase the length of tourist visits. AbstrakPariwisata telah menjadi backbone perekonomian Indonesia dalam tiga tahun terakhir. Pemerintah menargetkan kontribusi sektor pariwisata terhadap PDB nasional meningkat menjadi 15% pada tahun 2019. Target tersebut mendorong dikembangkannya pariwisata di daerah-daerah yang memiliki potensi pariwisata, seperti Karimunjawa. Karimunjawa merupakan daerah kepulauan dengan 27 pulau kecil di dalamnya dengan 22 pulau di antaranya berada dalam kawasan konservasi (Taman Nasional Karimunjawa). Pemerintah telah menyusun kebijakan untuk pengembangan pariwisata di pulau-pulau kecil agar berkelanjutan. Permasalahannya adalah bagaimana implementasi kebijakan tersebut dalam pengembangan pariwisata di Karimunjawa dilihat dari sudut pandang penyusun kebijakan, pelaksana kebijakan, dan target group (masyarakat Karimunjawa). Penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan pada tahun 2018 terhadap pengembangan pariwisata di Karimunjawa memperlihatkan bahwa pengembangan pariwisata di Karimunjawa belum berkelanjutan. Karena meskipun secara ekonomi telah membuka lapangan kerja baru dan menambah penghasilan di masyarakat, namun secara sosial telah terjadi perubahan nilai dalam masyarakat dan secara ekologis telah terjadi kerusakan lingkungan. Perlu ada satu perencanaan yang terintegrasi yang melibatkan berbagai sektor dan stakeholders. Perencanaan tersebut memuat penataan ruangnya, perhitungan daya dukungnya (daya dukung ekologis, daya dukung fisik, dan daya dukung sosial), studi AMDAL atau UKL/UPL nya, pemanfaatan sumber daya alam secara ramah lingkungan, serta peran dan tanggung jawab dari setiap stakeholders yang terlibat dalam pengembangan pariwisata. Selain itu, perlu ada penetapan kuota pengunjung didasarkan perhitungan daya dukung dan menambah atraksi untuk meningkatkan lama kunjungan wisata.

Selabintana management area is one of the nature tourism areas in the Gunung Gede Pangrango National Park (GGPNP) which located in Sukabumi District, West Java. Within the management area which covers 2,547.93 ha, there is a camping ground and waterfall which both are the most attracted for visitors. Efforts are needed to harmonize nature tourism activities with conservation mission, so that visitors can enjoy but the natural environment is maintained. The objective of this research is to determine the carrying capacity for daily tourism and camping activities by considering the aspect of physical, environmental and management aspects. The survey conducted through interviews and questionnaires to 62 tourists, traders and managers of the national park area. The data were analyzed using the carrying capacity assessment method developed by Cifuentes, i.e. calculating the Physical Carrying Capacity (PCC), Real Carrying Capacity (RCC), and Effective Carrying Capacity (ECC). As a result, EEC for daily tourism is 84 visitors/day  (PCC RCC ECC with a score of 3,269 98 84), while EEC for camping is 60 visitors/day (PCC RCC with a score of 2,155 69 60). Thus, carrying capacity of nature tourism activities in conservation areas can be calculated based on physical carrying capacity, real carrying capacity, and effective carrying capacity.Kawasan pengelolaan Selabintana merupakan salah satu areal wisata alam yang ada di Taman Nasional Gunung Gede Pangrango (TNGGP) yang terletak di Kabupaten Sukabumi, Jawa Barat. Di dalam areal pengelolaan yang luasnya 2.547,93 ha terdapat camping ground dan air terjun yang merupakan daya tarik utama yang bagi para pengunjung.  Diperlukan adanya upaya untuk menyelarasakan kegiatan wisata alam dengan misi konservasi, agar pengunjung  dapat menikmati  namun lingkungan alam tetap terjaga. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menentukan carrying capacity untuk kegiatan wisata harian dan berkemah dengan mempertimbangkan aspek fisik, lingkungan dan manajemen. Survey dilakukan melalui interview dan kuisioner terhadap 62 wisatawan, pedagang dan pengelola kawasan taman nasional. Data dianalisis dengan metode penilaian carrying capacity yang dikembangkan oleh Cifuentes, yaitu menghitung Daya Dukung Fisik (PCC), Daya Dukung Ril (RCC), serta Daya Dukung Efektif (ECC). Sebagai hasil, EEC untuk wisata harian adalah 84 pengunjung/hari (PCC RCC ECC dengan skor 3.269 98 84), sedangkan EEC untuk berkemah adalah 60 pengunjung/hari (PCC RCC dengan skor 2.155 69 60). Jadi, carrying capacity dalam kegiatan wisata alam di dalam kawasan konservasi dapat ditentukan berdasarkan daya dukung fisik, daya dukung riil, dan daya dukung efektif.

The sustainability assessment of natural capital (SANC) is one of the key elements in the field of national park protection. Assessing the impact of socioeconomic development on the Shennongjia National Park Pilot (SNPP), a typical national park in China, would be extremely conducive to the sustainable management of its natural capital. To this end, a natural capital account system encompassing transportation, accommodation, food, and waste for both locals and tourists was developed. Throughout the period from 2007 to 2016, a SANC was conducted in SNPP based on the 3D ecological footprint (EF3D) model to measure stock consumption as well as flow occupancy. The main conclusions were as follows: First, the ecological footprint (EF) size of the SNPP increased yearly from 2007 to 2014, although it decreased in 2015, when the government started preparing for the SNPP. Second, rapid tourism-related developments brought about an increase in the EF of built-up land, and the increasing medicinal planting also enlarged the EF of arable land. Third, the cumulative EF of tourism was 2.82 times that of locals over the past decade. This gap has been expanding. Overall, the results show relatively steady sustainability in terms of natural capital in the SNPP. More precisely, the preceding stock consumption did not severely constrain the function of the current regeneration of flow capital, whereas tourism and planting have become potential threats to the sustainability of the natural capital.

Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park Area is one of the forest areas designated by the government as a conservation area in South Sulawesi. Optimization the use of the economic value of conservation areas and  potency of the biodiversity are many parties hope. Micromelum minutum Wight & Arn is one of the biodiversity richness in Bantimurung Bulusaraung National Park area. This plant predominantly contains flavonoid chemical compounds that are useful as antioxidants, antimicrobial, antibacterial, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-mutagenic, anti-clastogenic, anti-cancer, anti-platelet for humans.  M. minutum has potency as bioprospecting for Bantimurung National Park. The use of the conservation zone rehabilitation zones as wanafarma requires  plantcaracteristic and site management. M. minutum plantation should be placemented at river banks or create waterways if planting at dry land. In addition, efforts can be made to improve the physical properties of the soil in the form of loose and increased organic matter content by planting ground cover and fertilizing.

Abstract Forestry Crime Case Study (TIPIHUT) in Bogani Nani wartabone National Park. This study aims to determine how the forestry crime (TIPIHUT) in the Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park, especially illegal logging and illegal mining in the Dumoga area. This research is an empirical juridical study, by conducting research at the Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park, Dumoga region. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data obtained from both primary and secondary data is then analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods, namely research that explains and describes according to the existing problems, then conclusions are drawn based on the analysis that has been done. The results showed that in the area of the Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park, illegal logging and illegal mining were still rampant, counting from 2018-2020 there were eight cases recorded. 4 cases of illegal logging and 4 others are illegal mining. This happened because in Boganai National Park Nani Wartabone still lacks POLHUT personnel to carry out field monitoring. Balain Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park has currently carried out several programs as an effort to break the forestry crime, namely by empowering communities around the National Park by utilizing forest areas for planting, and involving communities in restoring forest ecosystems by inviting the community to plant trees in National Park area. Keywords: Forestry Crime, Illegal Logging, Illegal Mining, National Park. AbstrakStudi Kasus Tindak Pidana Kehutanan (TIPIHUT) Di Taman Nasional Bogani Nani wartabone. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana tindak pidana kehutanan (TIPIHUT) di Taman Nasional Bogani Nani Wartabone khususnya tindak pidana illegal logging dan illegal mining di wilayah Dumoga. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yuridis empiris, dengan melakukan penelitian di Balai Taman Nasional Bogani Nani Wartabone wilayah Dumoga. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan sekunder. Data yang di peroleh baik dari data primer maupun ata sekunder kemudian di analisis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang menjelaskan dan menguraikan sesuai dengan permasalahan yang ada kemudian di tarik kesimpulan berdasarkan analisis yang telah dilakukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa di kawasan Taman Nasional Bogani Nani Wartabone masih marak terjadi Illegal logging dan illegal mining, terhitungan dari tahun 2018-2020 tercatat ada delapan kasus. 4 kasus illegal logging dan 4 lainnya adalah illegal mining. Hal ini terjadi karena di Taman Nasional Boganai Nani Wartabone masih kekurangan personil POLHUT dalam melakukan pemantauan lapangan. Balain Taman Nasional Bogani Nani Wartabone saat ini telah melakukan beberapa program sebagi upaya untuk memutus ranai tindak pidana kehutanan  yaitu dengan memberdayaakan masyarakat sekitar Taman Nasional dengan memanfaatan kawasan hutan untuk bercocok tanam, serta melibatkan masyarakat dalam pemulihan ekosistem hutan dengan mengajak masyrakat untuk melakukan penanaman pohon dalam kawasan Taman Nasional.Kata Kunci: Penambangan Liar, Penebangan Liar, Taman Nasional, Tindak Pidana Kehutanan.
