The Internet as a communication medium, with its possibilities and its rapid development, revolutionized the way of doing business, so much so that it pushed a large number of economists to declare that, in the coming years of doing business through information technology, will be one of the most preferred opportunities for businesses and consumers across the globe. The main purpose of this paper is to identify the opportunities that businesses have to influence the economic development in the Republic of Kosovo, through their ability to generate new jobs, increase exports, and contribute to improving the living standards of the citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. Kosovo, using the Internet, as a contemporary and competitive form of business development. In order to realize such an environment, of course we have to consider two main issues, one to recognize and identify the problems that business has and another issue, how much human and material capacity Kosovo has, to provide a favorable environment. doing business online. The study realizes the first issue, which means that, in a scanned way, we tell the decision-making institutions that here are the administrative barriers that concern the business, here are the obstacles that unfairly tire the business, etc. The second issue should be asked by the relevant institutions and it should be noted that, if we want a success and sustainable economic development, then Kosovo should also provide an attractive business environment by applying the Internet. We conclude that favorable conditions must be created for the development of business and the Internet, in order for it to be efficient and sustainable, which is a necessary precondition for achieving the main goals of a sustainable economy, which contributes to the generation of countries. new jobs, improving the welfare and living standards of citizens in the Republic of Kosovo.

The beginning of this major change was the existence of a very large gap between the output of university graduates and the need for experts in the business and industrial world so that various forms of MBKM activities were projected to provide real contextual experiences that could increase competence, prepare well to enter the world of work and industry, and create new jobs. One of the MBKM programs with the greatest possibility according to competency linearity is the Certified Independent Study and Internship Program (MSIB), where students go directly to the world of work and learn according to their competencies based on experience in the field or project-based learning. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative, with the entire population of the University of Merdeka Malang academic community, MSIB participants, and stakeholders in the MSIB Program. Data were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, and Forum Group Discussion. Some of the measurable results include the impact of the implementation of the MSIB program having a good perception at Merdeka University Malang, students have high motivation and interest in implementing the MSIB program, the MSIB program has a direct influence as evidenced by the assessments given by lecturers and students' perspectives on themselves. The results obtained from the implementation of the MSIB Program provide real contextual experiences that can increase competence, prepare well to enter the world of work and industry, as well as the ability create new jobs.

The object of the study is the reserves of economic growth in the country on the example of Ukraine. One of the problems of such studies is the calculation of potential GDP, which is not observed, but is calculated on the basis of various methods. Also problematic is the choice of method/methods of calculating potential GDP and potential values of its factors. Any estimate of the potential value of a variable is based on one or more statistical relationships and therefore contains an element of uncertainty. In order to reduce uncertainty, 2 methods were used to determine the potential values of the components of GDP – the growth rate of employment, fixed capital and TFP (total factor productivity). The study used the methods of one-dimensional statistical filters Hodrick-Prescott and Baxter-King to estimate the potential values of GDP and the model of the production function to calculate potential GDP based on the potential values of its factors. The main reasons for the slowdown in Ukraine's GDP have been identified, the main of which is low capital productivity due to budget constraints. The second place in this ranking was taken by labor productivity, the last third – by TFP. Weak productivity and investment growth reinforced each other. Capital has the highest growth potential in Ukraine. Therefore, measures to stimulate capital investment, including in research and innovation and human capital, are important. Other factors that affect GDP through labor productivity and TFP are population aging, emigration, and tight lending conditions. To neutralize these factors, it is necessary to create new jobs, facilitate the conditions for obtaining loans by enterprises, stimulate advanced training and lifelong learning. The proposed approach to the separate calculation of potential values of GDP factors and their analysis find reserves for GDP growth. This provides the advantages of this method over other approaches.

Wheeled transportation constituted a single factor that facilitated the incorporation of various African communities into the Europeans’ mercantile economy. In fact, it was an innovation in Africa where people had relied on some navigable waterways in the coastal areas, park animals in the tsetse flies free areas like Northern Nigeria and trekking along foot paths where human head porterage predominated. However, with the advent of the wheeled transportation technology, economic horizon became broader as people were provided with more profitable endeavors to engage themselves with. This essay attempts to analyze the development of wheeled transportation as a factor that was fundamental to the new developments in colonial Osun Division of Southwestern Nigeria. This is in a view to examine the diplomacies that surrounded road and rail construction in the division, Western Regional Government initiatives and the implications of the transportation technology on the divisional economy. The study depends on oral data gathered through interviews and archival materials as well as literatures that were considered relevant to the subject matter. Considering the shift of attention to the production of cash crops which were more profitable compared to the food crops, availability of new jobs as a result of the movement of the trading firms into the division and massive emigration of able bodied men and women in search of 78 Abiodun Ajayi more profitable jobs. There is therefore no doubt that wheeled transportation technology occasioned a transformation that was unprecedented in the colonial economy of Osun Division.

According to Statistics Canada, during this decade (2019–2028) about 75% of new jobs will require a post-secondary education (Government of Canada, 2017). This study explores a unique dataset that follows students (n = 11,417) from a large urban school district to a local university in Southern Ontario. Using both descriptive statistics and a binary logistic regression and a framework of categorical inequality (Domina et al., 2017), we examine the academic trajectories of students—particularly of Black students. Findings show that, compared to their peers, neither high school nor university programs provide Black students with the kinds of educational experiences needed for university graduation and academic success that wouldenable them to realize their fullest social and economic potentials.

Energy resources, and their management, represent an open ongoing problem of our present days. An increasing interest in the analysis of the limits of fossil fuels’ use, and their availability, is growing in order to find solutions to the undesired impact of some anthropic activities to the environment. So, nowadays, aThe current shift to renewable energy resources has become a fundamental requirement. In this context, biofuels from micro-organisms can represent a response to the requirement of reducing the environmental impact, but also to generatinge new jobs. In this paper, the analysis of the biofuels from micro-organisms is developed by introducing the Thermodynamic Human Development Index (THDI). In particular, we show how its performance can be improved by using the third-generation biofuels in the road transport sector, and how it increases by exploiting biofuels derived from mutualistic species of some micro-organisms. The result consists inis affected by the fundamental role of the mutualistic behaviour of these species in order to increase the overall sustainability.

The potential of coconut owned by Padang Pariaman Regency with production reaching 35,436 tons in an area of 40,755 hectares strongly supports the development of agroindustrials in the countryside. The development of rural industries will create new jobs so that the community economy will increase. Coconut has a lot of derivative products, one of which is cocofiber produced from coconut coir. Coconut coir itself is one of the remaining coconut products that can be processed so as to increase the value of the product. Location determination and financial analysis can help potential investors to make cocofiber agroindustry development decisions. The method used to determine the location of the factory is gravity location model (GLM), using data on the coordinate point of coconut IKM in Kab. Padang Pariaman. For financial analysis is calculated using Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). Both of these methods are expected to illustrate whether the development plan of the cocofiber industry in kab. Padang pariaman should be done or not. Based on the results of calculations using the GLM method, the optimal factory location selected is in the Limau River area of Padang Pariaman Regency with coordinate points (-0.55904, 100.0827). NPV showed a positive value and the IRR gave a result of 11.6%. The results showed that the calculation of NPV and IRR obtained results that showed that the construction of a cocofiber factory on the Limau Kab. Padang Pariaman River was feasible to carry out.
