The different degrees on Tourism seek to train experts capable of managing changes and stimulating the necessary improvements to be able to maintain and enhance the dynamic tourism sector. This paper provides the design of a teaching activity for students of tourism degree. With it, it is intended that students, through collaborative work methodology and through the use of geospatial technologies, especially the GIS Story Map, acquire essential competencies in their training and are capable of creating a tourist product according to the characteristics of the destination. The didactic experience consists of creating an original and innovative tourist route in Madrid. This way, a collaborative map and a series of individually presented routes are obtained that are co-evaluated by the students themselves. The results of a satisfaction survey about the activity answered by the participants are also presented. It appears that the activity has been considered positive, since the students claim to have acquired skills of great interest in their training as future professionals, while feeling motivated. We conclude by pointing out that it is necessary to include this type of initiative in university education and that this methodology can be extrapolated to other subjects and places.

The article analyzes the perception of employers on the performance of graduates of teaching programs, coming from Chilean universities that show different level of selectivity. A qualitative design is used, with in-depth interviews conducted in 2017 and 2018. It is concluded that the work performance of teachers is mediated by the degree of selectivity of the training institutions. Perspectives persist in employers that confirm social segregation, both in university education and in teaching work. The optimal teaching performance in high poverty contexts would be related to the adaptation to the educational context, the capacity for social integration, collaborative work and classroom management, among other attributes.

The objective of this current study is to identify the issue of tourist expatriate labor, its effects on the touristic and economic levels, its ways of evaluation, the manner of dealing with its reasons and motivations, and the ways of replacing it with local labor. However, this labor is able to fill the gap to and from a pure Jordanian touristic product. In addition, it is able to obtain the maximum benefit from tourist activity. The results of the study revealed that the expatriate labor represents 17.6% of the total labor in the Jordanian tourist sector. Therefore, most of these labors are concentrated in hotels and tourist restaurants. Tourism is one of the Jordanian sectors that do not attract local labor, but are attractive to expatriate labor. The expatriate labor in the Jordanian tourist sector is complementary. Hence, it is not a substitute for the tourist professions. The study recommended the need to develop local tourist workers by holding courses for the Jordanian workers in the tourist hotels and restaurants. Also, training on lingual and specialized tasks which focuses on the medium university education should be provided for them. Also, vocational training corporations should be organized. This in turn fills the gap of the tourist activities that attract expatriate labor and amendment legislation and laws relating to wages and the nature of work in the tourism sector. Hence, this is aimed to attract local tourist labor.

University education has all the opportunities for the formation of methodological culture of future teachers of economics as an important characteristic of their professionalism. However, practice shows that not all of them are used to overcome the contradiction between the promising tasks of training a creative specialist and the reproductive nature of the methodological training of teachers of economics. To overcome it, a mechanism of methodological growth is needed for each student, who should be involved in active methodological activities, help to achieve positive growth dynamics of his methodological culture through the realization of goals and tasks that constantly complicate and affect the accumulation of his methodological experience. The success of this process is determined by how clearly students imagine the final product of methodological training in the form of positive dynamics of growth of the level of their methodological culture. The article is aimed to the theme of formation of the future economics teacher’s methodological culture. In accordance with certain structural components of the economics teacher’s methodological culture (motivational-valuable, content-procedural, intellectual-emotional, reflexive-evaluative) we determined the levels of formation of the economics teacher’s methodological culture, the criteria (motivational-axiological, semantic-operational, creative-emotional, evaluative criteria) and the corresponding indicators of this complex personal formation. In connection with the above we can state that the methodical culture of the teacher of economics combines in its content all aspects of methodical activity, methodical baggage of personality, methodical actions and solving methodical problems, without which there can be no optimal professional achievements of the teacher of economics, his innovative actions. methodical sphere of teaching activity. Methodical culture is manifested in two ways: on the one hand, it is an ideal structure that reflects the teacher of economics about the organization and implementation of methodological activities, indicates the readiness of the teacher to fully participate in methodological activities, providing sustainable interests, values, methodological competencies. type of professional pedagogical activity; on the other hand, is a measure and a way of his creative self-realization in methodical activity.

Abordagem interdisciplinar. Escape Room: a proposal of pedagogical game within the scope of basic technical education Abstract This paper elaborates and discusses the construction steps of an original pedagogical game for applications in classes of technical courses in electronics integrated to high school. It is shown that with small modifications, the proposed game can be developed in classes of other technical courses, as well as in classes of conventional high school. The necessary adjustments lie in changing the focus of the discussions initially proposed in the game. It is well known that currently, several pedagogical games are successfully applied in high school and university education scope, but the game proposed in this paper is based on an alternative still little explored: the Escape Room game. Observing the low dissemination of this game among educators, it is necessary to describe in detail the itinerary followed for its development to enable an effective reproducibility. The proposed game is another teaching methodology that can be used by educators who aim to diversify the teaching and learning process, since after a slight adaptation of the game to the reality of their classroom, the play activity will be ready, which optimizes the time for planning the teaching activity. In addition, the interdisciplinarity achieved by the challenges of the game allows a wide discussion of transversal contents, which enriches the learning of students and teachers. Keywords: Escape room. Pedagogical games. Interdisciplinary approach.

Tourism in developed countries, but also in some transition countries, is an important export product and a generator of employment. It includes a wide array of phenomena and relationships that arise during the touristic journey, while in its realization it comes to the economic, but also the ecological, social and cultural aspect of life. Tourism in Kosovo is an important economic branch. The Tourism Industry of Kosovo has realized 10-12% of the domestic social product, depending on the year in question and whether all the direct factors (hotel industry, gastronomy) or indirect factors (agriculture, construction, etc.) have been taken into account. The large turnout of the tourism economy in the local social product reveals, in the first place, the weaknesses of other sectors of the economy, while the tourism potential has not been utilized as well. Intensive development is largely spontaneous and uncontrolled in post-war hotels, accompanied by imbalance in the environment and territory. These consequences are detrimental to the interests of the two groups: local residents and respective tour operators. Quality planning of space is one of the most important preconditions for the long-term and sustainable development of tourism in Kosovo. It is appreciated that after defining the status of Kosovo, the interest of investors to invest in the tourism sector is greater, but also in other sectors of the economy that directly or indirectly influence the development of the tourism sector so that the government most works for the development of tourism in different regions of Kosovo, is now in the final stage the international tender for the privatization of Brezovica, where according to the information there are a number of interested persons appearing in the tender for privatization of the tourist complex of Brezovica. Today's modern tourism does not ask where we are going but what we will do where we are going. Kosovo institutions are seriously involved in managing tourism firstly to build conditions to attract foreign tourists and to convince citizens themselves that there are conditions in their country, the money they spend in other countries can help the economy of Kosovo. However, the conditions and nature that nature has created in Kosovo requires a more serious approach to elevating it to a higher level given the conditions to be met to keep up the turret. Tourism is an industry characterized by intensive labor involvement. Human resources for this industry have been rated as "raw materials" or are anticipated by experts as the most important factor to be faced by this industry over the last decades and onwards the Kosovo government has set up a university education school for tourism which can be said that there are many well-prepared frames. Starting from this apparent tourism site, infrastructure and building up of incomparable units is progressing day by day. It is time to evaluate the motivation of visitors who pay for a couple of days of summer or winter in one place.

The Languages for the Community Program (LCP), one of the units that make up the Language Center at Universidad Nacional del Litoral (UNL), Santa Fe, República Argentina, is an extension service provided to people 17 years of age and older that live in Santa Fe or in neighboring towns, and to UNL students wishing to take language courses other than those offered in their own study programs. Since 1999 when they started, these language courses have been taught in a traditional face-to-face modality. The purpose of this chapter is to describe the way in which the first term in 2020 had to suddenly shift to remote teaching and how this shift was devised, coordinated, delivered, and evaluated in response to the unexpected context provoked by the outbreak of COVID-19. The chapter also reports the changes implemented during the second term according to the results of a satisfaction survey administered to students. Collaborative work, previous expertise, and methodological principles allowed the staff at LCP to offer a quality educational response to this paradigm shift in foreign language teaching and learning.

Groups usually carry out science and decision-making activities involving geographic information. However, current mapping and related geospatial technologies are not group-friendly, and attempts to extend (or reinvent) technologies for group use have been largely ad hoc. Elsewhere, we have developed a comprehensive conceptual approach to geocollaboration that provides a framework for both studying collaborative work with geospatial information (and technologies) and the development of new technologies designed to support group work. We are applying that approach to a range of prototype systems that support same- and different-place as well as same- and different-time group activities. Our focus in this paper is on same-time, same-place group work environments that enable that work through use of large-screen displays supporting natural, human-system dialogue and multi-user interaction. Two environments are described and compared. Both make use of hand gestures as a mechanism for specifying display locations. One adopts a combined wall map/white board metaphor while the other adopts a drafting table metaphor. We focus on crisis management as a typical use case.
