Online learning integrates collaborative learning among students of all level. By using Pbwiki web site, students can create, add, remove and edit content in hypertext quickly and easily. In this paper, a study on the students’ different learning style and critical thinking skill conducted to examine the effectiveness of pedagogical roles online teachers’ in General Paper essay writing.  The students’ learning style (active or reflective learning style) is the moderating variable that was investigated to identify whether PBwiki online learning influence their critical thinking in essay writing. A total of 80 Form Six (Grade 12) students from two high schools in Penang were involved in this 2x2 factorial quasi-experimental study. These students have to write and edit their essays in General Study’s subject with the assistance of pedagogical role online teachers (PROT). Felder and Silverman (1988) instrument was used to measure the moderating variable [1]. Paul’s (1993) model was used to analyze student’s critical thinking in online General Studies essay writing [2]. The findings show that students who received the PROT treatment performed significantly better in critical thinking score and enhanced students’ critical thinking in General Studies essay writing.

This study aims to improve students' speaking skills. The research sample consisted of 30 students (20 female students and 8 male students) all of whom were studying English, the majority of the sample were second semester students, the form of this study was to analyze (1) teaching and learning plans to speak through the task of information gaps that exist in "Absyak" on-line learning media websites, (2) the implementation of teaching speaking through structured tasks and information gaps with "absyak" on-line learning media websites, (3) teaching teaching evaluation systems through the task gap "absyak" information media website-based online learning, (4) improvement of student speaking using the information gap task on "absyak" website-based on-line learning. This is a classroom action research that takes place in 2 cycles. The subjects of the study were the second semester students of Surabaya Pharmacy Academy, Regular Class A consisting of 30 students in the academic year 2019/2020. Data collected by tests, observation notes and documentation. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively. The results showed that learning that was designed using the information gap technique with "absyak". Website-based online learning with cycle procedures. Cycle I results are still not optimal, then continue to the second cycle. In cycle II the results are maximum. Student activities increase every cycle II for learning, student activity, performance indicators, learning processes, completeness scores increase, decrease the number of unfinished and success indicators. Based on the results of research 11 which has been conducted 11 with 1 application of information gap techniques and "absyak" on-line learning website in learning Speaking in the second semester students of the Surabaya pharmacy academy that there is a significant increase in speaking skills from the results of learning achievements of cycle I and cycle II. This means that the students' speaking skills from the stages are increasingly increasing and succeeding well.

  Layanan pembelajaran pada sistem pendidikan jarak jauh mengalami perkembangan yang pesat seiring dengan kemajuan Teknologi Informasi (TI), salah satunya adalah pembelajaran secara online (online learning). Sistem online learning memudahkan pembelajar mengakses sumber belajar dari mana pun, dapat menjangkau peserta lebih luas, serta dapat meningkatkan kadar interaksi bahan pembelajaran. Sistem tersebut juga dinilai akan menghasilkan lulusan bermutu yang ukurannya dilihat dari kemampuan untuk mengaktualisasikan daya intelektualitas dalam menggali ilmu pengetahuan dan mengembangkannya, serta keterampilan menggunakan teknologi. Dari layanan online learning yang dilaksanakan oleh Universitas Terbuka menunjukkan bahwa layanan pembelajaran secara on line tidak serta merta mendapat respons yang signifikan. Di sisi lain data menunjukkan penetrasi pengguna internet di Indonesia sudah mencapai 143,26 juta orang. Gambaran ini menunjukkan banyaknya pengguna internet di Indonesia belum sebanding dengan peningkatan jumlah orang yang mau memanfaatkan TI untuk pembelajaran. Makalah ini membahas apakah ada keterkaitan antara keterampilan on line learning dengan kompetensi literasi digital. Metode pembahasan dilakukan dengan analisis kualitatif berdasarkan pada studi pustaka. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa TI lebih banyak dimanfaatkan sekedar untuk berselancar di dunia maya, daripada untuk pembelajaran.

Abstract:. The basic criteria of integrated teaching are: teaching includes educational goals in which learners actively participate in the learning process, teaching begins with a theme relevant to the learner's life, learners engage in learning and active thinking processes to practice critical thinking skills. Critical thinking skill is an activity of thinking about an idea or idea related to a given concept or a presented problem. Critical thinking is also understood as the activity of analyzing ideas or ideas in a more specific way, distinguishing them sharply, choosing, identifying, studying, and developing them in a more perfect direction. The purpose of this study was to investigate: the influence of reciprocal teaching strategies on the critical thinking skills of learners. This research is a quasi experimental type research. The population is all students in SD Nanggalo Tarusan Pesisir Selatan and the samples are students of VA and VB class as many as 50 people. This sampling technique is porpusive sampling. Data from the research results obtained from critical thinking skills tests. The results showed that the critical thinking skills of learners who were given a reciprocal teaching strategy were higher than conventional learning. Keyword: Reciprocal teaching, Critical Thinking Skill, Thematic Abstrak: Kriteria mendasar tentang pengajaran terintegrasi antara lain; pengajaran meliputi tujuan pendidikan dalam hal peserta didik secara aktif berpartisipasi dalam proses belajar, pengajaran dimulai dari suatu tema yang relevan dengan kehidupan peserta didik, peserta didik terlibat dalam proses belajar dan berpikir aktif untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis. Keterampilan berpikir kritis adalah suatu kegiatan cara berpikir tentang ide atau gagasan yang berhubungan dengan konsep yang diberikan atau masalah yang dipaparkan. Berpikir kritis juga dipahami sebagai kegiatan menganalisis idea atau gagasan ke arah yang lebih spesifik, membedakannya secara tajam, memilih, mengidentifikasi, mengkaji, dan mengembangkannya ke arah yang lebih sempurna. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki: pengaruh strategi reciprocal teaching terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis quasi eksperimen. Populasinya adalah seluruh peserta didik di SD Nanggalo Tarusan Pesisir Selatan dan sampelnya adalah peserta didik kelas VA dan VB sebanyak 50 orang. Teknik pengeambilan sampel ini porpusive sampling. Data dari hasil penelitian diperoleh dari tes keterampilan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunujukan bahwa keterampilan berpikir kritis peserta didik yang diberi strategi reciprocal teaching lebih tinggi dibandingkan pembelajaran konvesional.Kata Kunci: Reciprocal teaching, Keterampilan Berpikir Kritis, Tematik

Trello online discussion has become one of the important strategies for the University Utara Malaysia Management Foundation Programme student to teach other students to think critically in conveying their ideas and become more proactive and creative in critical thinking subject. In a heutagogical approach, learners become highly autonomous and self-determined while learning online. They use Trello online discussion tool as self-determination learning. Trello enable the learners to use their capacity and capability with the goal of producing learners. Trello online learning was conducted to examine its effectiveness in enhancing macro critical thinking among active-reflective learning style. The students discuss and write their ideas in Trello. Ideas that are posted in Trello will be displayed in front of the class so that the entire learners in the class could see the given ideas. Paul's model was used to analyze learners' critical thinking in Trello online discussion.

This chapter will explore the literature related to these issues (i.e., age, race, gender) as they affect students’ preferences for and success with various styles of on-line learning (e.g., distance learning, hybrid or blended courses, mobile learning technology).

Interaction is one of the crucial processes in online learning, which is a process derived from a common encouragement among people action that they able to utilize, store, share and construct knowledge. It is believed that the interaction among students is able to train the students to involve in active learning and enhance critical thinking skill. Recently, critical thinking is recognized as one of the 21st-century skills that students must have to do well in the community. The engagement of the students in a learning environment that supports higher-order thinking activity is the most effective approach to guide the students in developing critical thinking skills. Nevertheless, without the assistance of technology, it may be nearly impossible to ensure that all students have access to learning environments that support and develop these skills. The way students study, interact and think has been shifted due to the increasing use of technologies in learning institutions, particularly during online learning. The online platform is better when there are students interact with each other in form of social learning. Nonetheless, limited research is available on how online interaction in the social learning environment can promote students’ critical thinking skill. This study utilized a theory-building method to design the framework. The purpose of the framework of this study is to assist other practitioners and researchers in applying the elements of online interaction in a social learning environment to foster students’ critical thinking skill.

O objetivo desta investigação é estruturar um modelo que avalie a efetividade das estratégias de ensino (tradicional, online e hibrido) utilizadas para o desenvolvimento das competências dos estudantes de graduação em administração, observando o perfil do estudante e o estilo de aprendizagem. A aprendizagem online, baseada no e-learning, tem desempenhado um papel fundamental no ensino e aprendizagem, que se torna cada vez mais popular não apenas em diferentes níveis escolares, mas também em várias instituições de educação superior em todo o mundo (Nedungadi & Raman, 2012). Nesse contexto, a educação a distância emerge como uma oportunidade que pode ampliar as possibilidades de aprendizagem do estudante, implementando ensino totalmente a distância ou no modelo híbrido.Palavras-Chave: Modelos de aprendizagem, e-learning, tradicional, on-line, híbrido.Abstract:The objective of this research is to structure a model that evaluates the effectiveness of teaching strategies (traditional, online and hybrid) used for the development of Administration course undergraduate students’ skills, observing student’s profile and his/her learning style. Online learning, based on e-learning, has played a key role in teaching and learning, which is becoming increasingly popular not only at different levels of education but also in several higher education institutions around the world (Nedungadi & Raman, 2012). In this context, distance education emerges as an opportunity that can broaden students’ learning possibilities, implementing distance education or the hybrid model.

<p class="16">Covid-19 spurs teachers to carry out online learning. This study aimed to analyze the improvement of students' critical thinking skills through online learning based on Android-based PhET Simulation. This research was Quasi-Experimental using one group pre-test and post-test design involving 27 students of class VIII who program science subjects at MTs Alif Laam Miim Surabaya, Indonesia. The research instrument used critical thinking skills tests that have met valid and reliable requirements. Before and after learning activities, students were given a pre-test and a post-test. The data collected was analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results showed that there was an increase in students' critical thinking skills with an average N-gain of 0.57, in the medium category. The highest N-gain was achieved in the "interpretation" indicator, which is 0.83 in the high category and the lowest in the "analysis" indicator, which is 0.39 in the moderate category. This study concluded that learning science by using an Android-based PhET Simulation can improve the critical thinking skills of junior high school students.</p>
