The study of paper aims to describe efforts to improve the quality of an institution University of leadership management. The method uses a quantitative approach and path analysis. The point management institution is the academic education quality and the reputation of the university's publications which is the Tridarma statute for Higher Education in teaching-learning, research approach, and community service. Scientific publications are a starting point for global involvement in Higher Education management. Higher education management shows from Webometrics as an international recognition database for university rankings. It sees on the accreditation institutions such as ISO, National Accreditation for Higher Education as a quality service assessment bodies for Higher Education, e-Journal as a scientific publication agency in the publishing management network for papers written by lecturers and research findings of universities, and International office as an institution for national and international partnerships to achieve organizational success. The paper discusses 4 official Leadership Management Programs to improve the quality of the Bengkulu State Islamic Institute (IAIN Bengkulu). Keywords: Management, Employee Leadership, Education Quality Abstrak Kajian tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan upaya peningkatan mutu pendidikan dalam kajian manajemen kepemimpinan pegawai. Adapun metode yang digunakan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan teknik analisis jalur. Komponen yang menjadi tolak ukur adalah mutu akademik pendidikan dan reputasi publikasi Perguruan Tinggi. Dua hal tersebut disebutkan dalam Tridarma Perguruan Tinggi pada pengajaran, penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat. Publikasi ilmiah adalah wadah awal adanya keterlibatan dunia global dalam manajemen perguruan tinggi. Manajemen perguruan tinggi dapat dilihat dari Webometrics sebagai database pengakuan Internasional pada ranking indek perguruan tinggi, lembaga akreditasi seperti ISO, BAN-PT adalah badan penilai mutu layanan Perguruan tinggi, e-Journal sebagai lembaga publikasi ilmiah dalam jaringan manejemen penerbitan artikel para dosen dan hasil penelitian perguruan tinggi, Internasional office adalah lembaga kerjasama baik nasional dan internasional pada pencapaian kesuksesan organisasi. Artikel membahas 4 Program Pengaruh Manajemen Kepemimpinan Pegawai dalam upaya menigkatkan mutu IAIN Bengkulu. Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Kepemimpinan Pegawai, Mutu Pendidikan

Higher education plays a vital role in the community and the universities are the backbone of the higher education system. Management is an important part of higher education; to survive. The administration of higher education is considered essential to achieving economic progress, political stability and peace. . In this research the researcher found the current challenges facing administrators to maintain the status of higher education in public and private universities. The objectives of the study were to identify the issues and problems faced by management to maintain the quality of higher education at the university level, to identify the importance of quality in the management of higher education, to help in updating our universities for best meeting future demands, and to suggest the possible solutions of current issues and problems to improve the quality of higher education management.  The qualitative approach was used as a research methodology in this study. Five universities from Lahore were selected for observing the current issues and problems about the quality of higher education management. Data were collected through interviews. The vice-chancellors, registrars, controllers, treasurers and heads of human resource departments of these universities were selected for interviews. Interview protocol was used for the collection of data. The results were analyzed with the help of initial codes and broad categories It was concluded that it is necessary for the quality of higher education, to boost up higher education management. It was also determined that all the universities management almost is trying to improve their abilities towards academic matters under the umbrella of Higher Education Commission(HEC). The researchers recommended that by removing the current issues and problems concerned to the management in the universities should be mobilizing financial, technical, human and social resources for enhancing the quality of education, and for facilitating the reform process initiated within these institutions.

The main key to quality education management is how to carry out good and quality education to give birth to a generation of people who have potential, abilities, talents that grow and develop in all areas of life so that they are able to compete globally. For the implementation of quality education (quality), quality organizational management is also needed, one of which is by implementing Total Quality Management. Efforts to standardize quality and guarantee the implementation of higher education must meet quality standards in an effort to maintain and improve the quality of education nationally. In general, the definition of quality assurance in higher education is: The process of establishing and fulfilling education quality standards consistently and continuously so that customers get satisfaction. The process to ensure that the quality of graduates is in accordance with the specified/promised competencies so that quality can be consistently maintained and continuously improved.

By entering the era of higher education industrialization, Indonesia is required to improve itself so that it can compete with other ASEAN countries. According to several university ranking data, the quality of Indonesian education is still below Singapore and Malaysia. The portrait of the quality of Indonesian higher education is still very vulnerable to injustice and lack of equity             Competition for a professional workforce, having mature skills and being equipped with good language skills are prerequisites for competing fairly with other ASEAN member countries. Of course, Raden Fatah State Islamic University Palembang, which has approximately 25,000 students consisting of 39 study programs and 500 lecturers, both domestic and foreign graduates, has great potential to be involved in preparing a reliable workforce in their fields. The quality of the workforce must be supported by the quality of education held in each country, including UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. With good quality, the country's human resources are ready to compete in the ASEAN labor market. The factors that determine the effort to improve the quality of UIN Raden Fatah Palembang in facing the ASEAN Community include: vision and mission; rules; governance guidelines; student body; human Resources; infrastructure; Tri Dharma College; international cooperation; visiting lecturer; and Asean issues. All of these factors are the basis for higher education management.

The quality of training is an important issue and is of special concern to universities. Lecturers has a pioneering role in innovation of higher education management since the quality of higher education is always associated with the quality of lecturers. Assessing job satisfaction of lecturers is a fundamental step for universities to improve quality and job satisfaction of lecturers as well as attract and retain qualified lecturers. This study aims at assessing job satisfaction of lecturers in Vietnamese universities. For the purpose of this study, quantitative research method was applied. The questionnaires were sent randomly to 131 lecturers from 48 universities in Vietnam via email and google doc. Then, data was analyzed by various tool including descriptive statistics, frequency, exploratory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. The study examined four factors affecting lecturer job satisfaction include Facilities, Job Characteristics, Salaries and Fringe Benefits, Development Opportunities. Specifically, Job Characteristics have the strongest impact on lecturer job satisfaction while Salary and Fringe Benefits have the smallest impact on lecturer job satisfaction. The research on factors affecting job satisfaction of lecturers helps universities to develop appropriate policies in order to maintain and develop lecturers, as well as attract talents and prevent the “brain drain”.

Quality management in universities is often perceived in Poland as a determinant of quality of education. According to the author, it is too narrow approach. The next challenge of quality management in Polish higher education institutions is the problem with accreditation of activities, which is closely identified with control. Examples of foreign universities: Pompeu Fabra University in Spain and Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland show that quality management can generate large benefits for universities. This study aims to provide recommendations or policy suggestions in order to improve the quality of the academic information system (SIAKAD) for university operator or management. SIAKAD is a website-based application created to assist the process of managing data related to academics and has uses in managing campus or college management. Policy suggestions are compiled based on the analysis of higher education information system assessments with a comparison of the dimensions of WebQual and the PIECES Framework in measuring the quality of SIAKAD as a guide in improving or developing the quality for the better. The results of the analysis using the WebQual method with a value of 3.50 and the PIECES Framework with a value of 3.97 on the quality of the SIAKAD website produced the same results which were in the Good category with a score of 4 (3.43 - 4.23) based on the assessment criteria. The results of the recommendations in this study are expected to contribute to higher education management as a reference or decision support in improving the quality of the website-based academic information system (SIAKAD) for the better

Vietnam higher education has attempted innovations in increased efforts to integrate well into the world’s education. One of the most prominent innovative activities is quality assurance. Adopting a historical approach, this paper presents the Vietnam higher education quality assurance renovating process including three phases: the centrally planned economy period (1954–1986), the reform period (1986–2000) and the international integration period (2000–2017). At each stage, it is referred to the perspective, the system, the mechanism, and the achievements of Vietnam higher education quality assurance. By taking a historical stance, the paper presented the continued advance of higher education management, the role and significance of quality assurance as an integration commitment of Vietnam education in the context of globalization.

Today, the idea of "digitalization" of many areas of activity is being actively implemented in Russia as a factor in the implementation of modern management technologies: "digitalization" of society, "digitalization" of the economy, "digitalization" of production, "digitalization" of management, etc. This idea was not spared by the “digitalization” of the organization of higher education management and the process of training the specialists in Russian universities for domestic organizations. However, not all “good” theoretical ideas have the same “good” practical implementation, since the practice reveals many problems in this area and expects the science to advise on their solution. This article shows the problems associated with the implementation of the ideas of "digitalization" of the organization of domestic higher education and shows possible ways to overcome them and improve the quality of training students as future professionals for domestic organizations, as well as the effective use of "digitalization" in higher education to increase its efficiency as a result of scientific and technological progress. Moreover, the development of such recommendations was based on the historical and modern domestic experience of organizing higher professional education in Russian universities.
