Nowadays we use Internet Protocol (IP) versions 4 (IPv4) and 6 (IPv6) at the same time. It is very difficult to determine the rate of IPv6 and the state of its deployment exactly. In our survey, paper we present some tools and methods that can be used to estimate the proportion of IPv6. First, we will show some server side methods that mostly use provider-measurable data, so they may not be available to everyone. Next, we introduce various client-side tools that can be used in a much broader context, and then present the use of survey methods. Then we are reviewing some researches, which provide more comprehensive insight into the transition to IPv6 using complex measurement methods. Finally, we compare and categorize the presented metrics based on the availability of data sources and the extent of the measurement duration. We know that there is clearly no best among the various methods. Choosing the right technique depends greatly on the data and tools available to the researcher.

Abstract—Efficient and quick procedure to build a web application is presented. The steps are intended to build a database application system with hundreds of tables. The procedure can minimize tasks needed to write code and doing manual programming line by line. The intention also to build rapidly web-based database application. In this method security concerning authentification and authorization already built in ensuring the right and eligible access of the user to the system. The end result is ready to use the web-based 3-tier application. Moreover, the application is still flexible to be customized and to be enhanced to suit more specific requirement in part of each module of the software both the server-side and client-side programming codes. Abstrak—Pada penelitian kali ini diusulkan prosedur cepat dan efisien pengembangan aplikasi basis data menggunakan generator aplikasi. Bertujuan untuk meminimalisir penulisan bahasa pemograman. Keuntungan dari prosedur ini adalah bisa digunakan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi basis data secara cepat terutama dengan sistem basis data yang terdiri dari banyak tabel. Hak akses dan prosedur keamanan standar telah disediakan sehingga setiap user terjamin haknya terhadap entitas tertentu di basis data. Hasil generasi adalah aplikasi basis data berbasis web yang siap pakai. Sistem aplikasi yang terbentuk masih sangat lentur untuk untuk dilakukan penyesuaian setiap komponen aplikasi baik di sisi server maupun di sisi client.

This chapter gives an insight into technologies that can improve the learning experience of the students in higher education and increase their academic results. The authors look at online learning technologies like the massive open online course and how they can be used to flip the classroom in order to get higher student engagement and satisfaction. Methods like problem-based learning and active learning are also addressed together with ways of increasing student motivation like gamification. The use of social media in education is also addressed. In the second part, the authors share their experience with using some of these technologies. Although these technologies have become widely available, each teacher needs to find the right tools and methods specific to his/her own class and use them accordingly.

Limitations of action designate extent of time after an event, as set by statutes of limitations, within which legal action can be initiated by a party to a transaction. No event is actionable outside the designated time as same is rendered statute-barred. This study aims to provide an insight into application and significance of Limitations Act 1950 and Limitation Ordinance 1952 to Islamic banking matters in Malaysia as well as Shariah viewpoint on the issue of limitation of action. In conducting the study, a qualitative research methodology is employed where reported Islamic banking cases from 1983 to 2018 in Malaysia were reviewed and analysed to ascertain the application of those statutes of limitations to Islamic banking. Likewise, relevant provisions of the statutes as invoked in the cases were examined to determine possible legislative conflicts between the provisions and the rule of Islamic law in governing the right and limitation of action in Islamic banking cases under the law. The reviewed cases show the extent to which statutes of limitations were invoked in Malaysian courts in determining validity of Islamic banking matters. The limitation provisions so referred to are largely sections 6(1)(a) and 21(1) Limitations Act 1953 and section 19 Limitation Ordinance 1953, which do not conflict with Shariah viewpoint on the matter. This study will prove invaluable to financial institutions and their customers alike in promoting knowledge and creating awareness over actionable event in the course of their transactions.

The approach to organizing the automated calculations’ execution process using the web services (in particular, REST-services) is reviewed. The given solution will simplify the procedure of introduction of the new functionality in applied systems built according to the service-oriented architecture and microservice architecture principles. The main idea of the proposed solution is in maximum division of the server-side logic development and the client-side logic, when clients are used to set the abstract computation goals without any dependencies to existing applied services. It is proposed to rely on the centralized scheme to organize the computations (named as orchestration) and to put to the knowledge base the set of rules used to build (in multiple steps) the concrete computational scenario from the abstract goal. It is proposed to include the computing task’s execution subsystem to the software architecture of the applied system. This subsystem is composed of the service which is processing the incoming requests for execution, the service registry and the orchestration service. The clients send requests to the execution subsystem without any references to the real-world services to be called. The service registry searches the knowledge base for the corresponding input request template, then the abstract operation description search for the request template is performed. Each abstract operation may already have its implementation in the form of workflow composed of invocations of the real applied services’ operations. In case of absence of the corresponding workflow in the database, this workflow implementation could be synthesized dynamically according to the input and output data and the functionality description of the abstract operation and registered applied services. The workflows are executed by the orchestrator service. Thus, adding some new functions to the client side can be possible without any changes at the server side. And vice versa, adding new services can impact the execution of the calculations without updating the clients.

AbstractDesign research as a field has been studied from diverse perspectives starting from product inception to their disposal. The product of these studies includes knowledge, tools, methods, processes, frameworks, approaches, and theories. The contexts of these studies are innumerable. The unit of these studies varies from individuals to organizations, using a variety of theoretical tools and methods that have fragmented the field, making it difficult to understand the map of this corpus of knowledge across this diversity.In this paper, we propose a model-based approach that on the one hand, does not delve into the details of the design object itself, but on the other hand, unifies the description of design problem at another abstraction level. The use of this abstract framework allows for describing and comparing underlying models of published design studies using the same language to place them in the right context in which design takes place and to enable to inter-relate them, to understand the wholes and the parts of design studies.Patterns of successful studies could be generated and used by researchers to improve the design of new studies, understand the outcome of existing studies, and plan follow-up studies.

The history of Indian diplomacy conceptualises diplomacy racially—as invented by the West—and restrictively—to offence. This is ‘analytic-violence’ and it explains the berating of Indians for mimicking diplomacy incorrectly or unthinkingly, and the deleting, dismissing, or denigrating, of diplomatic practices contradicting history’s conception. To relieve history from these offences, a new method is presented, ‘Producer-Centred Research’ (PCR). Initiating with abduction, an insight into a problem—in this case Indian diplomacy’s compromised historicisation—PCR solves it by converting history’s racist rationality into ‘rationalities’. The plurality renders rationality one of many, permitting PCR’s searching for rationalities not as a function of rationality but robust practices explicable in producer’s terms. Doing so is exegesis. It reveals India’s nuclear diplomacy as unique, for being organised by defence, not offence. Moreover, offence’s premise of security as exceeding opponent’s hostility renders it chimerical for such a security is, paradoxically, reliant on expanding arsenals. Additionally, doing so is a response to opponents. This fragments sovereignty and abdicates control for one is dependent on opponent’s choices. Defence, however, does not instigate opponents and so really delivers security by minimising arsenals since offence is eschewed. Doing so is not a response to opponents and so maintains sovereignty and retains control by denying others the right to offense. The cost of defence is courage, for instance, choosing to live in the shadow of nuclear annihilation. Exegesis discloses Balakot as a shift from defence to offence, so to relieve the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) leadership of having to be courageous. The intensity of the intention to discard courage is apparent in the price the BJP paid. This included equating India with Pakistan, permitting it to escalate the conflict, and so imperiling all humanity in a manner beyond history.

Abstract Objectives The objective of this study was to understand needs among seniors for food and food assistance and to develop a comprehensive taxonomy for these needs. Methods A total of 147 seniors were purposively sampled from 12 food-assistance programs in 9 states. Of the 12 programs, 10 provided unprepared foods and 2 provided pre-cooked meals. Data were semi-structured qualitative interviews. Coding and analysis of transcripts followed an inductive qualitative analysis approach. A series of thematic summaries were prepared to reflect the content of the interviews for discussion and refinement of the analytic approach. Results An emergent taxonomy comprised 3 categories consisting of abilities and ranges or variants of those abilities. The category of physical ability consists of physical strength, the ability to prepare food, the ability to walk or stand, and health status. These relate to an individual's functional abilities to live and act independently and may be considered pre-conditions for program uptake and benefit distinct from dietary and food security-related needs and limitations. The category of consuming food consists of preferences, accessibility, affordability, and dietary needs. This category highlights the relationship between economic constraints and dietary needs that often necessitates meaningful tradeoffs in consuming the right foods for their health. The category of access and use of transportation consists of own means, friends or family, and public or private services. This category highlights challenges in accessing programs and provides insight into seniors’ experiences of poverty, declining functional abilities, social networks and connectedness, geography, and public services. Conclusions The process used to develop the taxonomy and the taxonomy itself provide an exemplar for implementation research when the nature of need is complex and programs integrated across sectors are required to address the need. The taxonomy provides structure to facilitate the identification of key factors in program engagement—and insight into the economic and social environments in which they occur—that translate into needs relevant to the design, targeting, and uptake of food assistance in a diverse population of seniors. Objective: The present study aimed to examine the effects of SNAP25 on the integration ability of intrinsic brain functions in children with ADHD, and whether the integration ability was associated with working memory (WM). Methods: A sliding time window method was used to calculate the spatial and temporal concordance among five rs-fMRI regional indices in 55 children with ADHD and 20 healthy controls. Results: The SNAP25 exhibited significant interaction effects with ADHD diagnosis on the voxel-wise concordance in the right posterior central gyrus, fusiform gyrus and lingual gyrus. Specifically, for children with ADHD, G-carriers showed increased voxel-wise concordance in comparison to TT homozygotes in the right precentral gyrus, superior frontal gyrus, postcentral gyrus, and middle frontal gyrus. The voxel-wise concordance was also found to be related to WM. Conclusion: Our findings provided a new insight into the neural mechanisms of the brain function of ADHD children.

New and efficient paradigms for web-based collaborative product design in a global economy will be driven by increased outsourcing, increased competition, and pressures to reduce product development time. We have developed a three-tier (client-server-database) architecture based collaborative shape design system, Computer Aided Distributed Design and Collaboration (CADDAC). CADDAC has a centralized geometry kernel and constraint solver. The server-side provides support for solid modeling, constraint solving operations, data management, and synchronization of clients. The client-side performs real-time creation, modification, and deletion of geometry over the network. In order to keep the clients thin, many computationally intensive operations are performed at the server. Only the graphics rendering pipeline operations are performed at the client-side. A key contribution of this work is a flexible architecture that decouples Application Data (Model), Controllers, Viewers, and Collaboration. This decoupling allows new feature development to be modular and easy to develop and manage.
