Objective – This study investigates the mediation role of job satisfaction in the relationship between work stress and turnover intention. A study about turnover intention in the textile company is still rarely done in Indonesia. This study can fill the gap regarding the topic. Methodology/Technique – A nonprobability sampling method with an accidental sampling technique was used, and we get 110 usable responses from a textile company in West Java, Indonesia. Macro Process with SPSS was used to measure the regression and the mediation. Findings – The study found that work stress has a negative effect on job satisfaction. Work stress significantly related to turnover intention in a positive direction. Job satisfaction did not have a significant relation with turnover intention. Thus, in this study, we found no mediation role in job satisfaction. Novelty – Evidently, work stress solely took part in shaping the turnover intention. Type of Paper: Empirical. Organizational goals can be achieved with the company's HR performance. Poor performance will have an impact on the company's image and certainly slow down the process in achieving organizational goals. This study was conducted to determine the effect of workload and work environment on employee performance and the role of work stress as mediating variables. This study took 42 employees as respondents using a questionnaire, with a saturated sampling method. Path analysis was used. The results of the study indicate that workload has a negative effect on employee performance. Work environment has a positive effect on employee performance. Job stress has a negative influence on employee performance. This study also found that work stress mediates the effect of workload and work environment on employee performance. Based on the results of this study, it is expected that further research is able to examine the performance of employees with respondents and more complex research locations. The results of this study are also expected to be used as a reference and consideration for companies in decision making related to employee performance. I proposed a model to explain how workplace fun is effective in facilitating employee creativity, with a focus on the mediating role of psychological safety in this relationship. Participants comprised 269 employees of hotels in China. Results show that workplace fun had a direct, significantly positive effect on employee creativity, as well as an indirect relationship through the mediator of psychological safety. These findings show that a fun work environment helps to enhance employee creativity. Thus, it is beneficial for managers of organizations to create a fun work environment, and they should also consider employees' sense of psychological safety when allowing employees to have fun at work.

It is known in the business world that employees’ display of emotional labor in their relations with customers contributes to the success of the organization. Therefore, the aim of this study is to find out how the emotional dilemmas that employees experience affect their perceptions on job satisfaction and turnover intention and whether leader-member exchange has a moderating role on these relationships. In this respect, we performed a survey on the 371 employees of a company in Turkey. We used the scale developed by Diefendorff et al. (2005) to test emotional labor; the scale developed by Scandura and Graen (1984) to test leader-member exchange; the scale developed by Chen et al. (2009) to test job satisfaction and the scale developed by Scott et al. (1999) to test turnover intention. The all scales were measured valid and reliable for this sample group. In the hierarchical regression analyses, done to test the hypotheses, all variables were included in the model. According to the findings, emotional labor has a significant and positive direct effect on turnover intention and it has a significant and negative direct effect on job satisfaction. All these results taken into consideration, it was confirmed that when emotional labor increases, turnover intention also increases, and job satisfaction decreases. Furthermore, the moderating role of leader-member exchange between the relationship of emotional labor and turnover intention wasn’t approved; however, its moderating role between the relationship of emotional labor and job satisfaction was approved. To sum up, it is estimated that performing emotional labor is inevitable for organizational success and it is essential to develop new methods in order to prevent the negativities resulting from emotional dilemmas.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the role of training satisfaction as a predictor of organisational citizenship behaviour (OCB) and turnover intention. The study further examines the mediating role of OCB between training satisfaction and turnover intention. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 409 Malaysian oil and gas (O&G) sector employees. Partial least squares structural equation modelling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the hypotheses in the research model using SmartPLS 3.0. Findings This study highlights the significant positive impact of training satisfaction on OCB and the negative effect on turnover intention. Contrary to expectations, OCB proved to be neither a predictor of turnover intention nor a mediator in the model. Practical implications Although the main aim of this study was to test the theoretically driven hypotheses, the findings have a number of valuable implications for organisations. This study suggests that O&G organisations should focus on increasing employee satisfaction with training to maximise desired workplace attitudes and behaviours. Originality/value This is the first study to explore the causal links between training satisfaction, OCB and turnover intention. Although it has been observed in the past that training does not directly influence turnover intention, the present study indicates that training satisfaction significantly influences turnover intention. Further, this study unexpectedly found no direct relationship between OCB and turnover intention. Also, OCB was not a significant mediator in the present study. These unexpected findings open new avenues for future research, thus representing an important contribution of the present study.
