The presented story, which the reader and the reader will find in the text (when I am silent), comes from interviews collected during my research in the Netherlands in 2013. The research problem I chose at that time – the issue of the identity of Tamils from Sri Lanka in the Netherlands – I decided to investigate using a modified version of the biographical method, which is increasingly used in sociological research. Such a model of analysis is common today also in studies on migration processes, and especially in studies on the problem of refugee. Using this method, in the analytical part, I present the refugee life cycle based on the schema of the rituals of passage by Arnold van Gennep. Therefore, I use a model drawn from anthropological research, namely the pattern of individuals going through certain stages in their development and in the process of social functioning. After the first part, where I outline the research methodology and the main theoretical assumptions, I provide a first-person narrative of one of the people who left Sri Lanka, and her life was inextricably intertwined with the local nearly 30-year civil war.

The research problem is that the community is less motivated to carry out the culture of Mitoni, even though the program is very meaningful for the mother and child in the womb. Pregnancy is believed to be the phase in which the prospective baby has begun to interact with the surrounding environment through an intermediary of a mother. Psychic relationship between mother and child has begun to be closely intertwined from this phase. For the people of Java, especially in the regions of Yogyakarta and Surakarta, mitoni culture is still widely practiced. Pregnancy is part of a human's life cycle. Method research kualitative Therefore, the existence of the prospective baby is always celebrated by the people of Java with a ritual called Mitoni, derived from the word pitu or seven. That's because the mitoni is held when the age of the womb enters the seventh month This ritual is intended so that prospective babies and mothers always get safety. The purpose of this article is for Indonesians to preserve this culture as gratitude to God Almighty Keywords: Slametan, Ceremony, For Seven Months Pregnant

In and around the state-owned forest of Farako in the region of Sikasso, Mali, a large-scale study focused on finding a compromise allowing the existential and legitimate needs of the population to be met and at the same time conserving the forest resources in the long term. The first step in research was to sketch out the rural socio-economic context and determine the needs for natural resources for autoconsumption and commercial use as well as the demand for non-material forest services. Simultaneously, the environmental context of the forest and the resources available were evaluated by means of inventories with regard to quality and quantity. According to an in-depth comparison between demand and potential, there is a differentiated view of the suitability of the forest to meet the needs of the people living nearby. Propositions for a multipurpose management of the forest were drawn up. This contribution deals with some basic elements of research methodology as well as with results of the study.

The article presents the results of a pilot sociological study of migration perceptions of the population, the reasons for their formation, as well as the factors and conditions under which the willingness to live and work in the Khabarovsk Territory is realized. The analysis of the results of the survey, which according to the research methodology was conducted in two target groups ("residents of the region" and "student youth"), indicates the stability and reproduction of migration intentions as a determined willingness and desire to leave the place of permanent residence in the Khabarovsk territory. The sociological approach to the study of migration perceptions of the target groups under study consists in determining the target attitudes, guidelines and expectations from moving, due to the status-role set and personal attitudes of respondents.

Sociological research on sustainable consumption has seen widespread application of theories of practice (‘practice theories’) as a means of transcending the limitations of epistemologically individualistic ‘behaviour change’ approaches. While in many ways the central insights of practice theories vis-a-vis consumption are now well established, this article argues that the approach holds further insights for sociological analysis of food consumption in general, and of novel foods in particular. Based on empirical research with consumers of a range of insect-based convenience foods in the Netherlands, this article introduces two practice-theoretic concepts – ‘modes of eating’ and ‘phased routinisation’ – which contribute to sociological theorisations of how food practices are established, maintained, interdepend and change. Beyond its theoretical contribution, the article substantively extends research literatures on the introduction, uptake and normalisation of insect-based and other novel foods.

<p class="zhengwen">Due to physical and mental disability, children tend to withdraw themselves from society especially if their parents abandon them, and if society fail to establish a suitable relationship with these children, their presence will uproot from society. In this paper, we deals with the case Rofaydeh Welfare Services Complex in Iran in the he city of Tehran where 60 disabled, mentally or physically disabled children are taken care of, some of them were also orphans. The aim of the article is to provide an environment which is conducive to more relationship and interaction of these children with members of society with regard to their lack of caretaker and family, as well as protecting the primacy of the children's living spaces as their home.</p><p>The research methodology included library and field methods; thus, suitable strategies were developed to achieve the goal of this paper. The research indicates that designing the complex as a house in the middle of the neighborhood park allows for children's presence in the society among the people and close interaction with people through being positioned in a neighborhood park, as well as providing the presence of the children in a space similar to a house which is every child's wish. On neighborhood scale, the park protects the children from social damages so that they feel sense of intimacy working between them and people.</p>

Abstrak This paper will explore aspects of research methodology of exegesis written by Aksin Wijaya related to methods nuzuli ala Muhammad Izzat Darwazah. For that, the focus of this discussion is the methodology of his research in his own book of under title Sejarah Kenabian Dalam Perspektif Tafsir Nuzuli Muhammad Izzat Darwazah, finding out how people review mufassir. Specifically, the methodical determination of the previous his experienced has moved soon of orientation from the critical to the descriptive while facing of four books, namely: Tafsir al Hadith, 'Ashr al Nabiy wa Biatuhu Qabla al Bi'tsah, Sirah al Rasul; Suwar Muqtabasah min al Qur'an, and ad Dustur al Qur'an fi Su'uni al Hayat works of thinkers and historians. From his reading, he at least analyzes his views into two important parts, namely; 1) the interpretation method of nuzuli and the ideal concept it contains, 2) it then draws it into the realm of pre-Islamic, personal and family life of the prophet Muhammad, to the condition of the people of prophetic era through the perspective of nuzuli Izzat Darwazah exegesis. According to the reviewer, there are other research elements in writing the work of the exegesis, namely some models of research methods of interpretation at once, such as: comparative research, character research, and thematic-nuzuli research. Whereas although placed more as an overview of nuzuli interpretation, at least he invites readers, especially in Indonesia to re-read the tafsir nuzuli treasury and see which is as worthy to be developed in the turats of Islam Nusantara.
