This research aimed to analyze the influence of Middle Eastern tourists on local community in Cisarua Bogor in the perspective of Identity Politics and Communitarian Citizenship. This research usedqualitative with a descriptive explanatory research type. Data collection techniques used were observation, in-depth interviews, and library research. The results of this research showed that Middle Eastern tourists positively encouraged tourism activities and economic development of local community but there was an emergence of social, political, and cultural problems such as identity crisis. Local community in Cisarua as part of Indonesia is faced with the presence of a minority group namely Arab tourists who visit this region at certain times and demand a recognition of their identity. So that the localcommunity in Cisarua is faced with multicultural life because they touch and interact with values that are different from what they have. Empirically, from a political perspective, Middle Eastern tourists have encouraged the formation of identity politics and the issue of communitarian citizenship while local values are increasingly eroded. The problem of communitarian citizenship is reflected in the phenomenon of Arabic villages through the rise of Arabic writing in business, the dominance of Arabic culture, Arabic food, and so on. The thick Middle Eastern culture in tourist areas becomes a problem when dealing with local culture and nationalism as a challenge for a sovereign nation. The novelty of this research is the influence of Middle Eastern tourists in the perspective of Political Science on identity politics and communitarian citizenship.

This study analyzes the "single candidate" in the simultaneous local elections in Indonesia 2018, the case of Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, Lebak Regency (Banten Province) and Makassar City (South Sulawesi Province). The method used is qualitative with descriptive explanatory research type. Data collection techniques with in-depth interviews and library research (library research). Research findings, the problem of "single candidate" occurs from the nominating stage (nomination threshold and conditions of support for individual candidates), which causes political parties to be pragmatic because they do not have the ability to compete openly, so they choose to build coalitions to meet the conditions or vote in the nominating process. Empirically found factors that encourage the occurrence of "single candidate" in Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, Lebak Regency are incumbent candidates who have high electability so that political parties count to be pragmatic by conducting coalitions. In the case of Makassar City a "single candidate" occurred because the competitor was disqualified. The problem of "single candidate" is an empirical phenomenon of the weakness of political regeneration by political parties from the center and the regions, as well as the high dowry requirements of the bearers of the candidates. The vote recapitulation results in three regions (Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, Lebak Regency) were won by the dominant "single candidate", while in Makassar City the "single candidate" was defeated by an empty box.

Abstract- In the course of the development of Islam since the time of the Prophet Muhammad until now, thestrategic position of the mosque is not only as a place of worship but also as the center of Islamic Introduction. As we know that establishing a mosque is a culture that has been rooted in the life of Muslim society. The foundingprinciple of the mosque comes from the teachings contained in the Qur'an and Hadith. However, the two sourcesdid not disclose and include the building and physical codes of the mosque. All ofit is left to the people to designtheir own buildings and physical mosque in accordance with the conditions of the local community. The mosquein Indonesia is developed into two forms, the first being a form influenced by the local culture. The second is aform influenced by middle eastern culture. Then, a mosque with a different shape from the two previouslydescribed forms began to appear. One of the mosques is the Jami'e Darussalam, the mosque which became theobject of research. The study was conducted based on a preliminary study conducted by studying the theory of spaceperception put forward by Bert Bielefeld and the theory of space perception in the mosque. This paper discusses the discourse about the complexity of ethnic and religious identity monism in Mataram Lombok West Nusa Tenggara; Sasak ethnic is Islam, while Balinese ethnic is Hindu. The question is then does religious conversion also include ethnic conversion? Methodologically, this paper is library research. Several notes related to this discourse are as follows: (1) Increasing conflict escalation occurs during the Reformation era. Identity politics emerge and strengthen. In several conflicts at Mataram, the ethnic and religious identity is thickening. (2) There is a complexity between democracy and diversity. Democracy demands unity, while multiculturalism emphasizes particularity. Balancing them is easy in theory but difficult in practice. (3) It must be distinguished between politics and politicization. In the case of Indonesia, ethnic and religious issues are often politicized by some people to achieve their own group goals. (4) Relying on ethnicity is a natural instinct in self-defense and affirming identity. This is not necessary to be troubled and blamed. (5) These problems are like a Pandora's box, a box full of diseases. It was the reform era that opened the box which had been closed or covered by the New Order. What happened in the Reformation Era is the emergence of various ethnic and religious problems which were not recognized during the New Order era.
