Tingkat kemiskinan masyarakat kota Semarang pada tahun 2009 sebanyak 73.000 jiwa dan tahun 2010 naik menjadi 80.000 jiwa (BPS Jateng 2011), karena suatu standar tingkat hidup yang rendah (Parsudi Suparlan), sehingga masyarakat Kota Semarang berpotensi untuk melaksanakan kewajiban zakat dalam usaha pengentasan kemiskinan. Namun potensi ini belum digali optimal. Penelitian ini mengkaji: Pertama, pola penghimpunan dana ZIS; Kedua, Faktor yang mempengaruhi penghimpunan dana ZIS; Ketiga, peran Laznas dalam penghimpunan dana ZIS. Jenis penelitian yang di gunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan yuridis sosiologis, yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Pola penghimpunan dana ZIS yang cukup baik oleh DPU-DT, PKPU, dan Rumah Zakat Semarang. Dengan layanan pembayaran melalui kantor, jemput zakat, atau layanan bank. Faktor pendukung penghimpunan dana ZIS antara lain faktor intern: lokasi yang strategis, SDM yang mumpuni, program pendayagunaan yang bagus, legalitas lembaga, kemampuan menyalurkan program, managemen baik, dan figuritas tokoh dan faktor ekstern: dukungan masyarakat, serta dukungan pemerintah. Sedangkan faktor penghambat antara lain faktor intern: keterbatasan SDM pengelola yang memiliki kompetensi, sistem yang belum berjalan optimal, tidak adanya kerjasama antar Laz dalam penghimpunan, melekatnya figur tokoh; faktor ekstern: budaya masyarakat yang belum membayar zakat melalui Laz, serta kebijakan pemerintah yang belum dapat dilaksanakan. DPU-DT, PKPU, dan Rumah Zakat Semarang sampai sekarang sudah berperan secara optimal sesuai UU dalam penghimpunan dana ZIS, terbukti dengan meningkatnya dana ZIS yang terhimpun serta muzakki.<br /><br /><br /><em>The poverty in Semarang City in 2009 as many as 73,000 inhabitants and in 2010 rose to 80,000 (Central Java BPS 2011), due to a low standard of living, so that the people of Semarang has the potential to carry out the obligation of zakat in poverty alleviation efforts. However, this potential has not been explored optimally. This study examines: First, the pattern of ZIS fund raising; Second, factors affecting the ZIS fund raising; Third, LAZNAS role in fund raising ZIS. This type of research used descriptive qualitative sociological juridical approach, which analyzed using qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the pattern of accumulation ZIS pretty good by DPU-DT, PKPU, and Zakat House Semarang. With payment services through the office, pick zakat, or bank services. Factors supporting fund raising ZIS include internal factors: strategic location, qualified human resources, good utilization program, the legality of the agency, the ability to deliver the program, good management, and figures and external factors: community support, as well as government support. While inhibiting factors include internal factors: lack of human resources managers who have the competence, the system is not running optimally, the absence of cooperation between Lazis in the collection, attachment figure figures; external factors: culture that has not paid zakat through Lazis, as well as government policies can not be implemented. Arabica coffee is a leading commodity in Simalungun Regency, where entrepreneurship becomes one of the important aspects in arabica coffee farming management. This study aims to understand the influence of internal factors (farmer age, education, experience, number of family members, family motivation, and work culture) and external factors (government support, community support, access to production facilities, and climatic conditions) on entrepreneurial performance of arabica coffee farmers. The research was conducted in two villages (Bangun Pane village and Bintang Mariah village) in Dolog Masagal district, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province during March to May 2018. The study sample covers 60 farmer households who have Arabica coffee farming with at least 300 arabica coffee plants and minimum plant age of three years, determined by snowball sample method. The study used ratio and scale data (Likert scale), which was analyzed using multiple regression equations. Data were processed using SPSS 24. Results show that internal factors have positive and significant effect on the entrepreneurial performance of arabica coffee farmers (value Sig.=0.005), while external factors have positive and insignificant effect (value Sig.=0.313). Local governments through relevant technical agencies are recommended to provide facilitation in improving farmers' access to production factors, increasing quantity and quality of extension, technical guidance, and relevant training.

This study aims to identify internal factors and external factors of UD Betris, as well as to determine the strategy for developing the business of bamboo batik handicraft industry UD Betris. Betris in Meras Village. This research was conducted from April to June 2018. The data used were primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained through observation and interviews which are divided into two parties, namely internal parties (business owners and labor) and external parties (local government and consumers) with 8 (eight) respondents. Meanwhile, secondary data was obtained from literature studies. Analysis of the data used is by using a SWOT analysis. The results showed that internal factors include: raw materials, quality of raw materials, price of raw materials, product uniqueness, business spirit and craftsman skills, product prices, product durability and quality, not having financial records, traditional production equipment, product arrangement that has not been arranged neat, promotion is not efficient, does not have a special place of business, and there is no parking space. external factors include: high market opportunities, government support, opportunities for training, opportunities to participate in exhibitions, plastic substitute goods, interest in business successors, and the existence of competitors using modern production tools. Based on the SWOT diagram, the chosen strategy is a combination of SO, namely: 1) Maintaining product quality and continuing to develop products by innovating to create bamboo handicraft products with new designs. 2) Continue to work with the government and related agencies to develop and expand marketing areas so that products are better known to local and foreign communities through training and exhibition events. *jnkd*.

Business Competition encourages entrepreneurs to have competence in managing the business. Start-up businesses will grow if it is able to manage the internal factors and external factors well. This study focuses on internal factors from the perspective of companies consisting of four components, namely marketing, human resources, finance, and operations. The second focus of this study is the external factor of a business seen from the approach five forces Porter lists five essential components of the external factors, namely: barriers to entry in the industry, threat from substitute products, threat from suppliers bargaining power, threat from buyers bargaining power, Among existing industry and rival firms. The object of this study is a start-up business in the city of Surabaya. This study used descriptive qualitative method with the aim of optimizing the management view of internal and external factors in the success of a start-up business seen from the perspective of the company. Validation of the results using triangulation techniques using: parisipatif observation, interview, and documentation (photos and interviews) to the informant (object) research. The results showed the management of internal factors (marketing, human resources, finance, and operational) and external (barriers to entry in the industry, threat from substitute products, threat from suppliers bargaining power, threat from buyers bargaining power, and rival Among existing industry firms ) is an important component that must be optimized in order to support the success of start-up businesses.

The objective of this study is to identify the major factors that impact on the quality of financial reporting and to suggest model of the factors affecting on the quality of financial reporting for Vietnamese enterprises . There are two factors group affecting on the quality of financial reporting: internal factors and external factors, this study is limited to the scope of the external factors. By using case studies, analytical results indicate that Tax Pressure factor has the greatest impact on the quality of financial reporting, the remaning factors include: Listed Securities, Accounting Software and Independent Audit. Two factors, Politics and Regulatory Environment have limited impact on the quality financial reporting.

Abstract In dealing with the factors affecting credit policy, a management should consider external and internal information before creating a policy. Internal factors include the structure and the amount of available bank assets and liabilities, and the type, state, and composition of available banking facilities and personnels. Meanwhile, external factors include the atmosphere of the business world in general and banking sector in particular, bank location, and others. The factors that need to be considered in credit policy cannot be separated from the problems that exist in banking activities. Since the factors affecting credit policy act as a guideline which influences credit management, it is important to analyze these factors. This research maps out some important factors in credit management and recommends certain practical steps that can be taken in credit management.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the different factors that affect using Web 2.0 applications in Omani academic libraries (OALs). Design/methodology/approach – In all, 29 interviews with directors and library staff of five OALs were conducted for the purpose of collecting data for the current research. Findings – The results indicated that there are nine internal factors and four external factors that affect using Web 2.0 applications in OALs. Internal factors include the low motivation of directors and library staff regarding using of Web 2.0 applications, lack of training and constant changes in the management structure. Meanwhile, the external factors are related to lack of policy and regulations and weakness and low speed of the internet. Practical implications – Most academic libraries in Oman have not yet adopted Web 2.0 applications to enhance their services. Therefore, this study intends to open insight into the state of Web 2.0 adoption in academic libraries and will help library managers to understand factors facing the use of Web 2.0 applications in their libraries, and this could signal a basis for policy shift in the internet infrastructure especially in the institutions of the higher education. Originality/value – This research is the first study in the field of Web 2.0 applications in OALs that investigates the factors affecting the use of Web 2.0 applications in academic libraries in general and in OALs specifically.

<p><em><span lang="IN">The purpose of this study is to know the management of productive zakat for the economic empowerment of society in LAZISNU Kudus. This study uses a qualitative approach and is described descriptively. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. While data analysis using data reduction, data display and verification. From the results of the study concluded that the management of productive zakat funds conducted by LAZISNU Kudus using the stages in management science. The steps in the empowerment of productive zakat by LAZISNU Kudus include data collection, supervision and supervision. There are two obstacles facing LAZISNU, internal and external factors. Among the internal factors are limited funds provided, lack of coordination, lack of adequate human resources and administrative management that is still traditional. While external factors include is still a lot of muzakki who pay zakat outside amil institutions and mustahik less know management business.</span></em></p>

The purpose of this research is to describe the factors that affect mathematics learning outcomes in class V SD Negeri 01 Nanga Merakai Academic Year 2019/2020. This research uses qualitative research methods with a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study research form.  The research sample consisted of 16 student of class 5th at public elementary school 01 Nanga Merakai. Data collection tools in the form of interview guidelines, questionnaires and documentation studies. Data analysis through several stages of data collection, data persentation, data reduction and conclusion drawing. The results showed that (1) Inhibiting factors affecting mathematics learning outcomes were divided into two factors, namely internal factors and external factors. (2)  Supporting factors for mathematics learning outcomes, the research results are divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors.

Banks are the most vital financial intermediaries in economy, which has a profitable banking industry; in order to survive undesirable shock as well as subsidize the constancy under the whole economy. However, the main purpose of this research is in the direction of analyzing factors affecting banks’ effectiveness all over Pakistan by means of sets of targeted facts and figures of twenty panels from 2005 to 2015. This study is developed with the help of AOLS technique which is used to examine the effect of different factors such as resources, debts, justice, securities, economic growth, price increases, price decreases, and market capitalization on major profitability signs such as (ROA), (ROE), (ROCE) and (NIM). The experimental consequences analyzed solid facts which stated the following conclusion, i.e., internal factors and external factors create an adverse impact on the level of profitability. An outcome by this research is important to different researchers. This research study proposed that by the concentration & reengineering the internal drivers the banks can improve its profitability and performance.

Abstract Objectives: The Best-Worst Method is considered as a novel and innovative way to identify and prioritize ever-changing internal and external factors affecting health care performance. Results: After screening the large number of factors using the “content validity ratio”, a Pairwise comparisons were conducted between the best and the worst criteria and the other one. Then Modeling the research problem through linear programming and finding the optimal weights.the most effective internal factors from the experts’ viewpoint were the financial indicators such as “the ratio of personnel wage costs to the total revenues”. The most important external factor that was “structure of the payment system and strategic service purchasing by insurance”.external factors had greater impacts on the performance of public hospitals than internal factors. Therefore, when assessing the performance and improvement interventions of hospital, not only internal indicators should be measured, but also external factors, including political and economic policies and approaches governing the health system need to be taken into account.
