Psychodrama seeks to know the reality presented, investigating the human psyche through dramatization. This study aims to identify interventions in psychodrama, its limitations and results. This systematic review of the literature sought works published between 2009 and 2019, on the Portal de Periódicos da Capes. In 1403 studies found, 34 met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. After analyzing the articles, 11 categories emerged and they were grouped by similarity of subjects or participating public. Psychodrama proved to be efficient in most interventions, emphasizing its flexibility and comprehensiveness, allowing significant changes in the participants’ lives, reflections on behavioral patterns and self-knowledge. The limitations found underscore the scarcity of resources, apparently financial, as a common issue in numerous articles.

Aim. To investigate prognostic factors in pediatric and young adult patients with localized osteosarcoma that could predict the development of subsequent pulmonary metastases and lead to an ability to risk-stratify therapy. We performed a systematic review of the literature published since January 1990 to establish common evidence-based prognostic factors. Methods. PubMed and Embase searches (Jan 1990–Aug 2018) were performed. Two reviewers independently selected papers for patients with localized osteosarcoma with subsequent metastatic development and then reviewed for quality of methods and prognostic factors. Results. Database searches yielded 216 unique results. After screening, 27 full-text articles were studied in depth, with 9 items fulfilling predetermined inclusion and exclusion criteria. Age, tumor location, tumor size/volume, and histologic response carried independent prognostic value in the majority of the studies. Conclusions. Several prognostic factors seemed to be consistent amongst the studies, but the heterogeneity and smaller sizes of the study populations made pooling of results difficult. Standardization of larger patient populations and consistent definitions/cutoffs for prognostic factors are needed to further assess for consistent prognostic factors and potential predictive models to be developed.

PURPOSE: Previous literature on dancers and athletes has shown a large impact of eating disorders (EDs) on these individuals, but there is limited research on EDs affecting non-dance performing artists (i.e., musicians, actors, etc.). This systematic review aimed to identify and evaluate the literature on EDs in non-dance performing artists. METHODS: A systematic review of the literature was performed on 24 databases, using search terms related to EDs and non-dance performing artists. All results from the databases were systematically screened for inclusion and exclusion criteria. RESULTS: The initial search returned 86,383 total articles, which after screening and removal of duplicates and irrelevant papers yielded 129 results. After screening the 129 full-text results for eligibility, 10 studies met criteria for inclusion: 6 papers addressed EDs in musicians, and 4 papers addressed EDs in theatre performers. Most studies used questionnaires and body mass index (BMI) as diagnostic tools for EDs. Most were small-scale studies and participants were mostly students. Because of the studies’ heterogeneity and varying quality, the results obtained were often contradictory and questionable. CONCLUSIONS: Although there has been a lot of literature in dancers, we found relatively few studies associating EDs with other performing artists, and most were inconsistent in their information.

This article presents a systematic review of the literature on adolescence of the last five years, with a psychoanalysis as a theoretical contribution. As databases for the Portal of CAPES Journals and PubMed, with the descriptors: "Psychoanalysis", Adolescence "OR" Adolescent "and" Identification. "We found 38 publications that meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria, after an analysis of content, three thematic categories were identified: correlations of identity construction with ethnic, religious and gender aspects, Liames of adolescence along with mental disorders, and traumatic interferences in the identificative experiences. It was possible to perceive the theoretical highlight to the fact of adolescence, supported by the previous coordinates, makes it possible to construct a process of identification. It is not pathologizing adolescence, but neither neglecting the necessary attention considering that it can be enhanced psychic weaknesses of a subject that is at the height of a reframing process itself.

Aim. To determine the relevance of the application of the chlorhexidine adhesive Protocol in devital teeth.Materials and methods. A systematic review of the literature in the electronic databases Google Scholar and Pubmed was conducted. Articles related to research on the activity of matrix metalloproteinases in vital and devital teeth, as well as research on the effectiveness of the chlorhexidine Protocol, are considered and included.Results. 60 articles were reviewed during the review. After making the selection based on the exclusion criteria, the number of included studies was 36.Conclusions. According to the studied publications, it was found that MMP 2 and MMP 9 are contained not only in vital, but also in devital teeth. The use of a chlorhexidine adhesive Protocol is relevant in both clinical cases but depending on the type of MMP and the state of the pulp, the concentration of chlorhexidine is selected.

AbstractAthletes train on a pre-determined training schedule. Scheduled behaviors are difficult to become “addictive” because urges and cravings cannot be scheduled. Still, many scholars think that elite or competitive athletes can become addicted to their sport or exercise. The aim of this systematic literature review was to analyze scholastic papers on exercise addiction in athletes with a special view on their focus and prevalence estimates. Four databases were scrutinized, including PsycINFO, PubMed/Medline, Crossref, and ScienceDirect, which resulted in 17 eligible articles based on the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The bulk of these studies compared athletes to non-athletes and employed a cross-sectional design. Their results suggest that the risk of exercise addiction is greater in athletes than non-athletes, along with a prevalence rate of up to >40%, which is ten times greater than that reported in a population-wide study. These findings are in discord with the definition and conceptualization of exercise addiction, which, according to previous calls, begs for the urgent clearer conceptualization of exercise addiction.

Aims: The purpose of this study was to perform a systematic review of the literature on the different fixation methods available for sagittal ramus split osteotomy associated with mandibular advancement tested in vitro to evaluate stability of each method. Study Design: Systematic review. Methodology: Following the PRISMA model for systematic reviews, a query was made in the PubMed, Bireme and Cochrane Library databases, identifying articles that reported the different fixation methods for sagittal ramus split osteotomy for mandibular advancement. Results: A total of 352 articles were identified, 11 papers of which, after evaluation in relation to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, were systematically reviewed. Conclusion: Sagittal ramus split osteotomy is a technique performed for the treatment of mandibular discrepancies in which the methods for fixation of the segments are quite varied. In view of the biomechanical studies, the hybrid technique is the most indicated method, while miniplates with monocortical screws present less stability.

AbstractThe present study is a systematic review of the literature that aimed to characterize the profile in animal models used to study perinatal protein malnutrition correlating with the cardiovascular system and the implications of malnutrition to the heart. Therefore, an extensive search was conducted in the PubMed, BVS, and SciELO databases, using combinations of the descriptors protein malnutrition, pregnancy, heart, lactation, and cardiovascular system. A total of 247 articles were found, but after excluding duplicities and applying the inclusion/exclusion criteria, only 12 papers remained. The analysis of the results shows that the diet used in the studies has a protein content of between 17 and 22% for the control animals, and of between 0 and 9% for the animals submitted to perinatal protein malnutrition. The main morphofunctional changes observed in the cardiovascular system are related to high blood pressure, increased apoptosis of cardiomyocytes, and reduction in the absolute size of the heart, among other ultrastructural and molecular changes.

Introduction: Recovery has become a catalyst for much organisational and cultural change within mental health services. Recovery involves the service user living the best life of their choice despite the presence of mental health challenges. In contrast, recovery of families remains under-developed with minimal attention given to the unique support families may require in their own recovery journeys. This paper aims to place focus on the topic through a systematic review of the literature into family recovery interventions in mental health; Method and Analysis: A PRISMA compliant systematic review was initiated. It included how the reviewers retrieved and selected studies for the systematic review. It outlined the inclusion/exclusion criteria and how these were further developed through the PICO framework. It also outlined how the reviewers assessed issues of bias and quality, as well as the process of data synthesis; Results: Three studies were included in this review. Each focusing on family recovery interventions across the lifespan: Kidstime to family toolkits to family psychoeducation. The benefits and challenges of each intervention to the family were synthesised along with a list of four family recovery enablers that are vital for the implementation of such family recovery interventions; Discussion/Implications for Practice: The results highlight the paucity of quality literature available for family recovery interventions. All three studies scored poorly in terms of quality, with one particular study (Nagi and Davies 2015) lacking quotations from participants to back up their claims. From this study, a number of actions need to be implemented, specifically around the enablers needed to allow for family recovery interventions to be fully implemented.
