Information on the heterogeneity of hydrocarbon deposits is provided. On the one hand, this is obvious information about the organic source of coal methane, whose reserves are quite significant in many countries. But on the other hand, the existence of deposits that do not fit into the biogenic concept is noted. To study their nature, the notions of the advection-polymorphic hypothesis of deep processes in the Earth’s tectonosphere about one-act modern activation are used. The mechanism of formation of deposits and manifestations of activation in physical fields and geological phenomena, which can be considered as search criteria, is analyzed. The latter are studied mainly on the example of the Dnieper-Donetsk Depression (DDD). This is due to the platform nature of its development before activation. Against such a calm background, anomalies of physical fields are clearly visible, connected precisely with the latter process. The parameters of heat and mass transfer in the mantle and crust by modern activation are considered. The insufficiency of fluids arising from the partial melting of the mantle material, in particular, for the creation of deposits, was noted. Crust sources appear to be more promising. A thermal model of the activation process for platforms and geosynclinal regions is built. It is monitored by geothermometers data. It is based on the distribution model of abnormal physical properties. They explain the geological characteristics of oil and gas zones. The observed anomalies of the gravitational and thermal fields, the parameters of objects of high electrical conductivity are consistent with the calculated ones without selection. The variation in the anomalousness of physical fields with a variation in the density of hydrocarbon reserves is considered. The coincidence of the maxima of the anomalies and reserves with the zones of activated longitudinal and transverse the DDD deep faults is shown.

The probability estimation of oil and gas inside certain area is essential for decision making on the industrial exploitation of oil and gas bearing features. A quantitative assessment of the hydrocarbon contour mapping accuracy using ground-based spectrometric measurements, remote, geological and geophysical data requires a special validation procedure. Its purpose is to evaluate achieved accuracy and reliability as well as the conformance to specified requirements. The input data for validation of the hydrocarbon deposit contour by field spectrometry are the one points’ locations relative to the other contours detected by independent methods, such as remote, geological and geophysical. As the field spectrometry performed along spatial trace, the geometric drifts of other methods’ cross-points are estimated. The algorithm for the validation of hydrocarbon deposit contour mapping by field spectrometry, remote, geological and geophysical data is proposed in this paper. The algorithm was tested on over the Novotroitsky and East Rogintsy hydrocarbon deposits (Ukraine). Measurements along 14 spatial traces over the Novotroitsky’s deposit and 28 traces over the East Rogintsy’s one was carried out to perform validation. The average error probability was 0.28, which demonstrates an admissible reliability of hydrocarbon deposits contours’ mapping by field spectrometry data. The preliminary validation estimates engagement during the hydrocarbon deposits mapping provides the fact-based statistical consistency of the quantitative measurements received. In addition, it is possible to filter the outliers reasonable before final information product release, which will enhance the overall reliability.

In the article the global crisis of 2008-2009 is considered as superposition of a few regional crises that occurred simultaneously but for different reasons. However, they have something in common: developed countries tend to maintain a strong level of social security without increasing the real production output. On the one hand, this policy has resulted in trade deficit and partial destruction of market mechanisms. On the other hand, it has clashed with the desire of several oil and gas exporting countries to receive an exclusive price for their energy resources.

Summary A casual reading of the SPE/WPC (World Petroleum Congresses) Petroleum Reserves Definitions (1997) and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission(SEC) definitions (1978) would suggest very little, if any, difference in the quantities of proved hydrocarbon reserves estimated under those two classification systems. The differences in many circumstances for both volumetric and performance-based estimates may be small. In 1999, the SEC began to increase its review process, seeking greater understanding and compliance with its oil and gas reserves reporting requirements. The agency's definitions had been promulgated in 1978 in connection with the Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 and at a time when most publicly owned oil and gas companies and their reserves were located in the United States. Oil and gas prices were relatively stable, and virtually all natural gas was marketed through long-term contracts at fixed or determinable prices. Development drilling was subject to well-spacing regulations as established through field rules set by state agencies. Reservoir-evaluation technology has advanced far beyond that used in 1978;production-sharing contracts were uncommon then, and probabilistic reserves assessment was not widely recognized or appreciated in the U.S. These changes in industry practice plus many other considerations have created problems in adapting the 1978 vintage definitions to the technical and commercial realities of the 21st century. This paper presents several real-world examples of how the SEC engineering staff has updated its approach to reserves assessment as well as numerous remaining unresolved areas of concern. These remaining issues are important, can lead to significant differences in reported quantities and values, and may result in questions about the "full disclosure" obligations to the SEC. Introduction For virtually all oil and gas producers, their company assets are the hydrocarbon reserves that they own through various forms of mineral interests, licensing agreements, or other contracts and that produce revenues from production and sale. Reserves are almost always reported as static quantities as of a specific date and classified into one or more categories to describe the uncertainty and production status associated with each category. The economic value of these reserves is a direct function of how the quantities are to be produced and sold over the physical or contract lives of the properties. Reserves owned by private and publicly owned companies are always assumed to be those quantities of oil and gas that can be produced and sold at a profit under assumed future prices and costs. Reserves under the control of state-owned or national oil companies may reflect quantities that exceed those deemed profitable under the commercial terms typically imposed on private or publicly owned companies.

Nadym-Pursk oil and gas region has been one of the main areas for the production of hydrocarbon raw materials since the sixties of the last century. A significant part of hydrocarbon deposits is at the final stage of field development. An increase in gas and oil production is possible subject to the discovery of new fields. The search for new hydrocarbon deposits must be carried out taking into account an integrated research approach, primarily the interpretation of seismic exploration, the creation of geological models of sedimentary basins, the study of geodynamic processes and thermobaric parameters. Statistical analysis of geological parameters of oil and gas bearing complexes revealed that the most promising direction of search are active zones — blocks with the maximum sedimentary section and accumulation rate. In these zones abnormal reservoir pressures and high reservoir temperatures are recorded. The Cretaceous oil and gas megacomplex is one of the main prospecting targets. New discovery of hydrocarbon deposits are associated with both additional exploration of old fields and the search for new prospects on the shelf of the north. An important area of geological exploration is the productive layer of the Lower-Berezovskaya subformation, in which gas deposits were discovered in unconventional reservoirs.

Introduction. GOST R 12.3.047-2012 standard offers a methodology for determination of required fire resistance limits of engineering structures. This methodology is based on a comparison of values of the fire resistance limit and the equivalent fire duration. However, in practice incidents occur when, in absence of regulatory fire resistance requirements, a facility owner, who has relaxed the fire resistance requirements prescribed by GOST R 12.3.047–2012, is ready to accept its potential loss in fire for economic reasons. In this case, one can apply the probability of safe evacuation and rescue to compare distributions of fire resistance limits, on the one hand, and evacuation and rescue time, on the other hand.A methodology for the identification of required fire resistance limits. The probabilistic method for the identification of required fire resistance limits, published in work [1], was tested in this study. This method differs from the one specified in GOST R 12.3.047-2012. The method is based on a comparison of distributions of such random values, as the estimated time of evacuation or rescue in case of fire at a production facility and fire resistance limits for engineering structures.Calculations of required fire resistance limits. This article presents a case of application of the proposed method to the rescue of people using the results of full-scale experiments, involving a real pipe rack at a gas processing plant [2].Conclusions. The required fire resistance limits for pipe rack structures of a gas processing plant were identified. The calculations took account of the time needed to evacuate and rescue the personnel, as well as the pre-set reliability of structures, given that the personnel evacuation and rescue time in case of fire is identified in an experiment.

The predominant area of application of the developed methodology is the construction of the distribution of the geodynamic state of the developed hydrocarbon fields in oil and gas basin, and the identification of the corresponding distribution law. A number of the hydrocarbon deposits in terms of geological conditions of occurrence, structure and other parameters are geodynamically hazardous during their development. The Federal Law «On Subsurface Resources» (Article 24) requires conducting a complex of geological, surveying, and other observations sufficient for ensuring a normal technological cycle of work, and the prediction of hazardous situations. The developed methodology based on the construction of aggregated additive models for each reservoir and field is presented. It includes four sequential stages (24 operations): first — prepare geodynamic data; second — determine the geodynamic state of productive strata; third — find the geodynamic state of the developed deposits subsoil; fourth — build the distribution of the bowels geodynamic state of these fields for the entire oil and gas basin and identify the relevant distribution law. Oil and gas basin in the west of the Orenburg Region (Volga — Ural and Caspian oil and gas provinces) is considered as an example of implementation. Unique data of twenty geodynamic parameters of 320 productive strata (56 fields) were used. It is revealed that in accordance with the Pearson criterion, the theoretical data with a high confidence probability (95 %) correspond to the law of normal distribution. Developed methodology has significant technical and economic advantages, since it allows to identify the geodynamic state of productive strata and subsoil of the fields being developed, to identify hazardous geodynamic processes and to choose rational modes for the development of hydrocarbon deposits.

Based on the well-known results of studies of the ether-geosoliton concept of the growing Earth, the article presents the conclusions that made it possible to propose a model of thermonuclear synthesis of chemical elements that form renewable reserves of developed oil and gas fields. It was revealed that local zones of abnormally high production rates of production wells and, accordingly, large cumulative production at developed fields in Western Siberia are due to the restoration of recoverable reserves due to geosoliton degassing. Therefore, when interpreting the results of geological and geophysical studies, it is necessary to pay attention to the identified geosoliton degassing channels, since in the works of R. M. Bembel and others found that they contributed to the formation of a number of hydrocarbon deposits in Western Siberia. When interpreting the results of geological-geophysical and physicochemical studies of the fields being developed, it is recommended to study the data of the ring high-resolution seismic exploration technology in order to identify unique areas of renewable reserves, which can significantly increase the component yield of hydrocarbon deposits.

The relevance of the article is associated with the importance of the object of the research. Dozens of unique and giant oil and gas fields, such as Urengoyskoye, Medvezhye, Yamburgskoye, Vyngapurovskoye, Messoyakhskoye, Nakhodkinskoye, Russkoye, have been identified within the Cenomanian complex. The main feature of Cenomanian rocks is their slow rock cementation. This leads to significant difficulties in core sampling and the following studies of it; that is the direct and most informative source of data on the composition and properties of rocks that create a geological section.The identification of the factors, which determine the slow rock cementation of reservoir rocks, allows establishing a certain order in sampling and laboratory core studies. Consequently, reliable data on the reservoir and estimation of hydrocarbon reserves both of discovered and exploited fields and newly discovered fields that are being developed on the territory of the Gydan peninsula and the Bolshekhetskaya depression will be obtained. This study is also important for the exploration and development of hydrocarbon resources of the continental shelf in the waters of the Arctic seas of Russia as one of the most promising areas.As a result of the analysis, it was found that the formation of rocks of the PK1-3 Cenomanian age of the Bolshekhetskaya depression happened under conditions of normal compaction of terrigenous sedimentary rocks that are located in the West Siberian basin. Slow rock cementation of reservoir rocks is associated with relatively low thermobaric conditions of their occurrence, as well as the low content of clay and absence of carbonate cements. Their lithological and petrophysical characteristics are close to the analogous Cenomanian deposits of the northern fields of Western Siberia and can be applied to other unconsolidated rocks studied areas.

A saturation evaluation model suitable for Nanpu volcanic rock formation is established based on the experiment of acoustic velocity changing with saturation during the water drainage process of volcanic rock in the Nanpu area. The experimental data show that in the early stage of water drainage, the fluid distribution in the pores of rock samples satisfies the patchy formula. With the decrease of the sample saturation, the fluid distribution in the pores is more similar to the uniform fluid distribution model. In this paper, combined with the Gassmann-Brie and patchy formula, the calculation equation of Gassmann-Brie-Patchy (G-B-P) saturation is established, and the effect of contact softening is considered. The model can be used to calculate water saturation based on acoustic velocity, which provides a new idea for the quantitative evaluation of volcanic oil and gas reservoirs using seismic and acoustic logging data.
