The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of Krulick Rudnick Heuristic Strategy based on ethnomathematics on student geometric representation skill (GRS). The research conductes at Junior High School in Jakarta in Academic Year 2018/2019. This research was quasi-experimental method with randomized posttest only control group, which is involve 27 students in experimental class and 25 students in control class that choosen by cluster random sampling technique. The data collecting for GRS used by using the test. The result of research revealed that student’s GRS taught by Krulick Rudnick’s Heuristic strategy based on ethnomathematics is higher than those taught by expository strategy. That skills include visual, symbolic, and verbal indicators. Ethnomatematics involved include culture of bamboo fishtrap (bubu), transplantation of coral reefs, mangrove conservation, processed fish food, fishing activities (manyang), tourist resorts, historic building, and food served in traditional traditions (sea parties). The conclusion of this show that the use of Krulik Rudnick heuristic strategy based on etnomathematics is more effective in enhanching students’ GRS compared with an expository strategy. (η2=0,102).

Descriptively, the purpose of this research is to know the tendency of creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics and achievement of the students. Correlatively, the purpose is to determine the relationship between creativity, numerical ability, the students’attitude in mathematics with the achievement matematics of the students. The population of this study was all students of VIII of Junior High School in Pundong district on 2013/2014 academic year. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The results of this descriptive study showed that the tendency category of creativity in medium, numerical ability in high, the students’attitude in mathematics in medium and achievement of the students in high. Correlatively, it show R=0,899 its means that there is positive and significant relationship between creativity, numerical ability and the students’attitude in mathematics  with the achievement matematics of the students.

AbstractThe aim of the research was to find out the effect of learning models on mathematics achievement. The learning model compared were NHT(Numbered Head Together), snowball throwing and convensional. The type of the research was a quasi-experimental by 3×1 factorial design. The population was the eight grade student of junior high school in Cibinong district on academic year 2017/2018. The sampling tecnique was cluster random sampling. The size of the sampel was 103 students consisted of 36 students in the first experimental group, 34  students in the second experimental group and 33 students in third experimental group. The instruments used were mathematics achievement test. The data was analyzed using unbalanced one-way analysis of variance. The conclusions of the research was NHT learning model gives better mathematics achievement than Snowball Throwing and convensional learning model, and snowball throwing learning model give better mathematics achievement than convensional learning model.Keywords: NHT, Snowball throwing, mathematics achievement

This research aimed to examine the effect of VAK approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) towards the result of learning physics of students at SMPN 10 Mataram in academic year 2013/2014. The kind of research used was experimental design with design of research was randomized posttest only control design. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. Population in this research was all the students from the eight grade at SMPN 10 Mataram, while the sample was 25 students of class VIII A as the experimental group and 27 students of class VIII B as the control group. The data obtained was analyzed by using t-test of two-tailed. t-count was 4.78 and t-table was 2.00 with significance level 0.05. Hence, t-table is smaller than t-count or t-count is bigger than t-table. It means that Null Hypothesis was rejected and Alternate Hypothesis was accepted. It means that the application of VAK Approach (Visualization, Auditory, Kinestetic) affects the results of learning physics of students.Keyword: VAK Approach

Abstract Cancer cases are increasing every year and the costs incurred for cancer treatment are getting bigger so there is a need to prevent cancer prevention, one of them is through IVA examination. Given the importance of examining IVA to detect early cervical cancer in an effort to reduce the incidence and death of cervical cancer. Knowledge is an important factor for generating early detection behaviours. One of the efforts is to increase community knowledge and interest by using counselling. This study uses a quantitative approach. The method used in this study is quasi-experimental or quasi-experimental. The design of this study used a randomized two-group design. This design aims to see the magnitude of the effect of treatment given to the experimental group given health education and the control group given leaflets. The population in this study were all 5,900 women of childbearing age (WUS) who had or had been married as much as 5,900 people. The sampling technique was done by cluster random sampling technique as many as 80 respondents consisting of 40 experimental samples and 40 control samples. The measuring instrument used in this study was a questionnaire to measure the knowledge and interest of mothers in conducting IVA examinations. The statistical test used in this study uses Independent T-Test. The result of the study is that there is a difference in WUS knowledge about cervical cancer in the group given Health Education and the group given the leaflet/brochure is indicated by the p-value of 0,000. There is a difference in the interest of WUS in examining the IVA in the group given Health Education and the group given the leaflet/brochure is indicated by the p-value of 0.000.     Keywords: Health Education, IVA Test, Interest  Abstrak Kasus penyakit kanker bertambah setiap tahun dan biaya yang ditanggung untuk pengobatan kanker semakin besar sehingga perlu adanya tiondakan pencegahan penyakit kanker salah sarunya melalui pemeriksaan IVA. Mengingat betapa pentingnya pemeriksaan IVA untuk mendeteksi dini untuk kanker serviks dalam upaya menurunkan insiden dan kematian akibat kanker serviks. Pengetahuan merupakan faktor yang penting untuk menimbulkan perilaku deteksi dini.salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan minat masyarakat yaitu dengan menggunakan penyuluhan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalan quasi eksperimen atau eksperimen semu. Rancangan penelitian ini menggunakan randomized two group design. Rancangan ini bertujuan untuk melihat besarnya pengaruh perlakuan yang diberikan pada kelompok eksperimen yang diberikan pendidikan kesehatan dan kelompok kontrol yang diberikan leaflet. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua wanita usia subur (WUS) yang sudah atau pernah menikah sebanyak 5.900 orang.Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling sebanyak 80 responden terdiri dari 40 sampel eksperimen dan 40 sampel kontrol. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini kuisioner untuk mengukur pengetahuan dan minat ibu melakukan pemeriksaan IVA. Uji statistik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan Uji T Independen. Hasil penelitian ada perbedaan Pengetahuan WUS tentang kanker serviks pada kelompok yang diberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan dan kelompok yang diberikan leaflet/brosur ditunjukkan dengan nilai p value 0,000. Ada perbedaan minat WUS melakukan pemeriksaan IVA pada kelompok yang diberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan dan kelompok yang diberikan leaflet/brosur ditunjukkan dengan nilai p value 0.000.   Kata Kunci :  Pendidikan Kesehatan, Pemeriksaan IVA , Minat

This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with a 3 x 3 factorial design. The population in this study were all students of grade VII SMP in Kudus Regency 2015/2016 academic year. The research sample was taken using stratified cluster random sampling technique. The samples of this study were students of class VII SMP Negeri 1 Mejobo, SMP Negeri 1 Bae, and SMP Negeri 3 Bae. The results obtained, TGT provides better mathematics learning achievement than TAI. students with high and moderate creativity have the same mathematics learning achievement. students with TGT have better mathematics learning achievement than TAI students. students with high and moderate creativity have the same mathematics learning achievement.</p></div><p class="BodyAbstract"> </p>

This study aims to know whether there is a correlation between students’ Quranic memorization and their English vocabulary retention. This study chose 28 of seventh graders at Islamic Junior High School Az-Zahra Lampung in 2018/2019 academic year as the sample by means of cluster random sampling technique. This study applied correlational research design. The documented data of Quranic memorization of learners and the English vocabulary preservation were collected from the test and then analyzed for hypothetical testing employing Pearson's Product Moment equation. The outcome of the hypothetical test shows that Sig. (value) was generated by the value of significance = 0.000 < α = 0.05. It means the acceptance of Ha and the rejection of H0. Furthermore, based on the r value interpretation table, it is known that the observed r is a high correlation as the value of observed r is 0.622 in the 0.600 – 0.800 level. It can therefore be inferred that there is a significant correlation between the Quranic memorization of learners and the acquisition of English vocabulary.

This research aims to find out the effect of problem based learning model with eksperiment method on the student’s results of learning physics of grade X SMAN 1 Gunungsari regency west Lombok in academic year 2014/2015. This research is a quasi eksperiment with pretest posttest control group design. The population of this research is students of grade X SMAN 1 Gunungsari, with cluster random sampling technique was obtained students of grade X5 as the experiment group and students of grade X2 as control group. The result of learning is analized by using t-test polled varians, was obtained 9,25 for thint and 1,99 for ttable with significant 5%. Because thint > ttable, then Ho will be rejected and Ha will be accepted. So can be concluded that available effect of problem based learning model with eksperiment method on the student’s results of learning physics of grade X SMAN 1 Gunungsari regency west Lombok in academic year 2014/2015.

Natural science material is abstract such as the solar system causing students to have difficulty understanding the material so visualization is needed to study it. Interactive learning media is needed so that abstract material becomes simpler and easier to understand, learning is interesting, and meaningful. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Lectora Inspire-based interactive science media on students' analytical skills. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental with pretest posttest nonequivalent control group design. The population used consisted of 6 classes with cluster random sampling sampling technique taken 2 classes, namely VII B as the experimental class and class VII E as the control class, each of which amounted to 30 students. The results of the analysis using the Independent Sample T-Test show that there is an influence of interactive science media based on Lectora inspire to improve students' analytical skills. Therefore, the use of interactive science media based on Lectora inspire can be used in learning to improve students' analytical skills.

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Model pembelajaran yang dibandingkan adalah PBL dan kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing. Jenis penelitiannya adalah penelitian kuasi eksperimental dan populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di Kabupaten Nganjuk pada tahun akademik 2016/2017. Ukuran sampel adalah 68 siswa, yang terambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk pengumpulan data adalah tes prestasi matematika. Uji hipotesis menggunakan varian uji rerata z. Hasil penelitian tersebut adalah sebagai berikut. Prestasi belajar matematika yang diajarkan oleh Problem Based Learning dan Snowball Throwing menghasilkan prestasi belajar yang sama. kata kunci : Problem Based Learning, kooperatif tipe Snowball Throwing dan prestasi belajar. Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of learning models on student achievement. The compared learning model is PBL and cooperative type Snowball Throwing. The type of research is quasi experimental research and the population of this research is the students of class VIII in Nganjuk Regency in academic year 2016/2017. The sample size was 68 students, taken with cluster random sampling technique. The instrument used for data collection is a mathematics achievement test. Hypothesis test using the mean test variant z. The results of the study are as follows. Mathematics learning achievement taught by Problem Based Learning and Snowball Throwing resulted in the same learning achievement keyword : Problem Based Learning, Snowball Throwing and Achievement.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing berbantu LKPD terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMPN 6 Depok pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2017-2018. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode penelitian jenis quasi experimental dengan the nonequivalent posttest only control group. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah metode cluster random sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa soal uraian sebanyak 9 butir, dari hasil perhitungan uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran dan uji daya pembeda. Uji prasayarat yang dilakukan yaitu uji normalitas dan homogenitas diperoleh hasil data yang berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Uji hipotesis menggunakan uji-t kemudian diperoleh thitung = 2,6053 > 1,6690 = ttabel   mengakibatkan tolak  pada taraf signifikasi 5% dengan effect size sebesar 0,5807 yang tergolong sedang. Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran penemuan terbimbing berbantu LKPD terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa SMPN 6 Depok.
