IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING DALAM MENINGKATKAN PEMAHAMAN KONSEP MAHASISWA PADA MATA KULIAH MANAJEMEN LABORATORIUMAbstractConceptual understanding was one of cognitive aspect which ensure success rate of students. If conceptual understanding of students was good, students would been successful in following the course. The main goal of this study was to describe conceptual understanding of prospective student teacher after being taught using Problem based learning model. One shot case study design was chosen as research design. The research population for this study comprised all the second year students of chemistry education program which consisted of three classes. according to saturated sampling, all the members  of population were selected as samples. they consisted of 71 students overall. Achievement Test was used to collect data. It was given to students to examine students’ conceptual understanding. Data were then analyzed descriptively and quantitatively. The results from this study showed that students’ conceptual understanding was in various rates. As many as 55 %, 15%, 3% and 27 % of students were classified as poor, fair, good, and very good respectively.AbstrakPemahaman konsep merupakan salah satu aspek kognitif yang menentukan tingkat keberhasilan peserta didik setelah melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Jika pemahaman konsep yang dimiliki baik, maka peserta didik tersebut telah berhasil secara kognitif di dalam melewati proses pembelajaran. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pemahaman konsep MAHASISWA setelah diajar menggunakan model problem based learning (PBL). Bentuk   penelitian ini adalah pra-eksperimetal dengan rancangan the one-shot case study. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Kimia universitas Tanjungpura semester II yang terdiri atas 3 kelas. Teknik pemilihan sampel dilakukan dengan cara sampling jenuh, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 71 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan  data  yang digunakan untuk menelaah masalah tersebut dilakukan melalui pengukuran dengan instrumen tes hasil belajar digunakan untuk mengukur pemahaman konsep mahasiswa. Deskripsi pemahaman konsep calon guru kimia diketahui dengan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diperoleh pemahaman konsep calon guru kimia setelah diajarkan menggunakan model PBL pada mata kuliah Manajemen Laboratorium diperoleh sebanyak 55% dengan kategori sangat kurang, 15% dengan kategori kurang, 3% dengan kategori baik, dan 27% dengan kategori sangat baik.

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada pembelajaran matematika ditinjau dari pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VII Sekolah Menengah Pertama Kabupaten Bantul. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan desain penelitian The One-Shot Case Study Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah Sekolah Menegah Pertama Kabupaten Bantul. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sample. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu kelas VII A SMP Negeri 2 Sewon, Kelas VII A SMP Negeri 3 Sewon, dan kelas VII A SMP PGRI Kasihan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil uji coba instrument soal tes pemahaman konsep dinyatakan bahwa soal valid dan reliabel. Data hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa data berdistribusi normal. Teknik analisis data hasil penelitian ini menggunakan uji t satu pihak kanan dengan taraf signifikasi = 0,05.Berdasarkan hasil akhir penelitian disimpulkan bahwa model Problem Based Learning (PBL) efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VII Sekolah Mengengah Pertama. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t tentang nilai rata-rata pemahaman konsep matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 2 Sewon dengan hasil  (uji signifikan dengan  ), SMP Negeri 3 Sewon dengan hasil  (uji signifikan dengan  ), dan SMP PGRI Kasihan dengan hasil  (uji signifikan dengan  ).  Kata kunci : Model Problem Based Learning (PBL), pemahaman konsep

This article aims to find out how to develop student’s critical thinking skills through Problem Based Learning. Single-case single-side case study design is using for method this study, involve one lecture. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and analyze document. The resultz were obtained, showing that the development of mathematics critical thinking skills was carried out using the problem based learning of two component: (i) controversial issues, and (ii) active debate. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa problem based learning dapat dijadikan sebagai salah satu alternative untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berfikir kritis matematis mahasiswa.

Mathematical communication skills of students are still relatively low. One learning model can improve students 'mathematical communication skills and at the same time students' mathematical disposition is the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The aim to be achieved is to find out the improvement of students 'mathematical communication skills and mathematical disposition using PBL models in terms of students' initial mathematical level. This research is an experimental research design with pretest posttest control group design. The research population was Grade VII students of SMP 9 Langsa. Students are grouped into two classes namely the experimental class and the control class randomly selected from eight parallel classes. The instrument used was a test of mathematical communication skills and a mathematical disposition questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using two-way ANOVA. The results showed that improving students 'mathematical communication ability and students' mathematical disposition by applying PBL learning models is better than students applying conventional learning models. There is no interaction between the PBL learning model with student level on mathematical communication skills and students' mathematical disposition. Abstrak Kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa masih tergolong rendah. Salah satu model pembelajaran dapat meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan sekaligus disposisi matematis siswa adalah model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Tujuan yang ingin dicapai ialah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis menggunakan model PBL ditinjau dari kemampuan awal matematis siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain pretest postest control group design. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Langsa. Siswa dikelompokkan menjadi dua kelas yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol yang dipilih secara acak dari delapan kelas paralel. Instrumen yang digunakan tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket disposisi matematis. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan anova dua arah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dan disposisi matematis siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran PBL lebih baik dari pada siswa yang menerapkan model pembelajaran konvensional. Tidak terdapat interaksi antara model pembelajaran PBL dengan level siswa terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan disposisi matematis siswa. Problem-based learning has been well-documented, from its early days in the teaching of medical professionals to its more recent use in other disciplines. It has been adopted in many educational institutions because it gives students a realistic problem and provides opportunities to translate knowledge into solutions. This article is a case study of this approach at a second-year technical course, in which members of the class were divided into groups and given a scenario concerning a fictitious organisation about to embark on a major upgrade to its existing and problematic networking infrastructure. The course consisted of two parts. The first group was provided with a set of virtual machines to upgrade, and the second group chose and implemented a major technology on this newly upgraded network. The authors outline how problem-based learning is used in this context in a way that informs the teaching of any technical computing course.

This article reports on the achievement and attitude aspects of a study comparing students who had the first 4 years of the University of Chicago School Mathematics Project (UCSMP) secondary curriculum to two distinct groups of comparable students, an age cohort and a mathematics course level cohort. A case study design with schools in three different sites (one urban, two suburban) was used. Three instruments were given: a Mathematics Level I Achievement Test from the Educational Testing Service, a 30-item Applications Test, and a 25-item Student Opinion Survey. At two of the sites, the UCSMP students outperformed both the age and course level cohorts by substantial amounts on both the achievement and application tests. At the third site, both comparison cohorts outperformed the UCSMP students on the achievement test, but results on the application test were mixed. At all three sites, there was little difference in the attitude items except on items concerning calculator use.

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis portofolio terhadap penguasaan konsep morfologi tumbuhan pada mahasiswa semester III tahun 2012/2013. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di FKIP Universitas Lancang Kuning Pekanbaru. Metode penelitian ini adalah weak eksperimental dengan the one-shot case study design. Sampel yang diambil dengan teknik purposive random sampling adalah mahasiswa semester IIIA Pekanbaru 1 kelas sebagai kelas perlakuan atau kelas eksperimen. Jumlah mahasiswa  sebanyak 30 orang yang terdiri dari 25 orang perempuan dan 5 orang laki-laki. Data dianalisis dengan uji-t sampel berpasangan (paired sample t-test). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui tes awal pada penguasaan konsep, tes akhir berupa portofolio dan angket mahasiswa yang digunakan. Rerata dari hasil portofolio 76,65 lebih tinggi dari kriteria ketuntasan minimal 6,50. Rerata N-Gain yang didapat dari kelas eksperimen penguasaan konsep 5,73. Dosen dan mahasiswa memberikan tanggapan positif terhadap pembelajaran berbasis portofolio. Dari hasil Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran berbasis portofolio terhadap penguasaan konsep morfologi tumbuhan pada mahasiswa semester IIIA.

Student's enthusiasm and interest in learning mathematics are factors that influence learning outcomes. Where in the application of problem-based learning models on trigonometric material that aims to improve learning outcomes, but in the application process will also appear the activeness of students during the learning process takes place. This is intended to supplement the problem-based learning process in stages, including: understanding the problem, making a solution plan, implementing the plan, and reviewing the results obtained. From these stages there will also appear student activity and interest in the mathematics learning process which certainly contributes to learning outcomes. So the purpose of the study is to determine the effect of activeness and interest in student learning outcomes on trigonometry subjects through problem-based learning models. This research was designed using the One-Shot Case Study design. In this design there is only one group treated. The population in this study were all students of SMA Negeri 15 Semarang. With the sampling technique in this study using the Random sampling technique, obtained a sample of students in class X 7. The variables used are the activeness and interest of students and are learning outcomes. The results of the study concluded that there was a significant influence between activity and interest in learning outcomes with a significant effect of 81.8% in the implementation of problem-based learning models.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk dan cara permainan media kartu KUPUBIL (Kartu Untuk Persiapan Ujian Biologi). Selain itu, untuk mengamati hasil nilai Ujian Nasional Biologi setelah dilakukan eksperimen menggunakan kartu KUPUBIL. Penelitian ini juga untuk mengetahui persepsi peserta didik tentang kebermanfaatan kartu KUPUBIL. Jenis penelitian adalah pre experimental design.  Desain penelitian adalah the one-shot case study design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XII MIPA SMA Citra Kasih Jakarta dengan sampel 12 siswa pemilih UNBK Biologi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive random sampling. Bentuk kartu KUPUBIL berjumlah 96 buah dengan ukuran 7,5 cm x 11 cm. Kartu berisi gambar-gambar yang sering keluar di soal Ujian Nasional. Permainan kartu ini dimodifikasi dari permainan kartu pada umumnya. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa media kartu ini mampu meningkatkan nilai Ujian Nasional. Nilai Try Out 6 (sebelum perlakuan) yaitu 67,92 sedangkan nilai Ujian Nasional (sesudah perlakuan) yaitu 73,75. Persepsi peserta didik terhadap kebermanfaatan media kartu ini adalah sangat positif. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil wawancara kepada responden yang memberikan apresiasi dan merasakan manfaat dari media kartu KUPUBIL. Media pembelajaran kartu KUPUBIL dapat digunakan sebagai altenatif media pembelajaran dalam mempersiapkan Ujian Nasional Biologi.

Humans can only try but God is the one who decides, when the government is full of optimism with economic growth which since 2016 – 2019 has been sharply corrected not in line with expectations, although many doubt it because it is too dreaming in the midst of the world's economic downturn and macro and micro indicators that are not supportive . At the end of 2019 the world was shocked by a humanitarian disaster, namely Covid-19 which started from Wuhan, China and spread throughout the world. Many observers say that Covid19 has spread to Indonesia but the government denies it and many ministers underestimate it and even make it a very unfunny joke.It was only on March 2, 2020 that the government announced that Covid19 had entered Indonesia. The government began to panic especially the people, people stormed shopping centers so that basic commodities became scarce even if they were available, the prices were very expensive, health products disappeared from the market because there were many inappropriate purchases and many people hoarded them in the hope of getting high profits. The government seems to be in a dilemma between the economy or the safety of its people, both of which are very important, especially since Indonesia's economic growth is largely influenced by public consumption.Now that we have entered the second year of Covid19, there are no signs that mean that covid19 will disappear in the world and especially in Indonesia on June 10-16, 2021, the surge affected by Covid19 is getting crazier, even as if it is out of control at the athlete's house in Jakarta, the occupancy is approaching 80%. has exceeded the limits set by the WHO, West Java, Central Java and East Java. The higher spike makes people more nervous and makes it more difficult to survive.
