The article reveals the actual problem of young people’s public opinion about interethnic and interfaith relations in multicultural border regions of Russia, which are exposed to the increased impact of cross-border threats to information security. The purpose of this article is to identify the similarities and differences in the orientations and attitudes of perception of interethnic and interfaith relations by the working youth of Krasnodar Region and the Republic of Crimea. The study was conducted on the basis of the results of questionnaire sociological surveys synchronously implemented in the Kuban and in the Crimea (August – October 2018). The novelty of the article lies in the choice of its purpose, the subject of the research and the collected empirical material. As a result of the work, conclusions were drawn about the increased conflictiness of interethnic and interfaith mutual perceptions of working youth in the Republic of Crimea, about the predominance of socio-cultural delimitation “Slavs – Crimean Tatars”, which largely coincides with confessional disengagement. Ethnic distances on the scale of E. Bogardus in the Crimea are clearly pronounced asymmetrical. The area of increased conflict is established in the Dzhankoy district and the city of Simferopol with suburbs. Migration processes and migration policies are perceived by the working youth of Crimea as a less controversial and ethnically marked process than the youth of Kuban.

1519 was a special year for the city of Poznań, owing to the foundation of a new school, the Lubrański Academy. It was the first school of humanities in Poland to follow the best models of Renaissance education and employed illustrious teachers like Krzysztof Hegendorfer and Benedykt Herbest. In the 16th century, the Academy was considered a rival of Krakow University; ultimately in the early 17th century, the Academy was affiliated with the University. As a result of the affiliation, the Poznań school enjoyed stability, a group of experienced teachers and a curriculum recognized by the society. The curriculum stood out in Poland by its inclusion of practical preparation for performing various political functions, especially in the field of law, and, as in other educational institutions, by preparing young people for cultural life in the country. Its relations with Krakow University also had drawbacks: during the Enlightenment reforms of the education system, the Lubrański Academy adopted a conservative and reactionary position. Despite this, the authorities managed to introduce several modern solutions, especially in the realm of teaching modern foreign languages.

The key components for the harmonious development of the personality of a modern student are shown theoretically. The survey data of schoolchildren of grades 6-11 on the subject of their satisfaction with the organization of the educational process have been presented. In the studied educational institutions of Khabarovsk priority is given mainly to the learning process. The educational process is often implemented in only one direction to the detriment of other areas of education. The results obtained define the problem of determining the causes of such stagnation, as well as the conditions conducive to the development of active, harmoniously developed people.
