The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of career development and job satisfaction on organizational commitment in a highschool in Jakarta teachers. Researchers distributed questionnaires to all teachers who teach at a highschool in Jakarta, totaling 55 respondents to be the sample for the entire study. The data analysis method in this research is quantitative method using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM), through the Partial Least Square approach. The results of this study show that career development affects organizational commitment to teachers of a highschool in Jakarta and job satisfaction affects organizational commitment of a highschool in Jakarta teachers.

Human Resources development has an important role in improving employee performance and productivity. In developing human resources, it can be done using a work motivation approach where work motivation is an impulse to do something consciously that arises from within and outside of each individual with the aim of increasing superior and competitive human resources. In the work motivation there are 6 motivational theories including: Need theory from Abraham Maslow, (b) Frederick Herzberg's two-factor theory, (c) McClelland's Achievement Theory, (d) Strengthening Theory (e ) Expectancy Theory, (f) Purpose Theory as Motivation. Based on this theory a leader can do various things to improve employee motivation and work to improve work productivity because with high motivation, work productivity will also be high and vice versa because between the two will be interrelated.

This study aims to determine what factors influence the increased effectiveness of the team at the Human Resources Development Agency of East Kalimantan Province. This study uses a cross-sectional design that is data collection that is conducted one time at a predetermined respondent with data analysis used is the partial least square (PLS) approach. A high level of trust will have a positive effect on the greater team effectiveness, so that at the same time team members will feel satisfaction in working with the group which will then affect the success of the team to achieve group goals. Thus, the more team members who are satisfied with the team, the better the performance of the interdependent team in completing the given task.
