Abstract. The article presents a three-year traceability (2018, 2019, 2020) of biometric results of the fruits of eight peach and nectarine varieties. The study covers the fifth, sixth and seventh vegetation period from the period of full fruiting. Varieties included in this investigation were “Filina” (peach, clingstone), “Gergana” (nectarine, clingstone), “July Lady” (peach, semi-clingstone), “Ufo 4” (flat peach, semi-clingstone), “Laskava” (peach, freestone), “Morsiani 90” (nectarine, freestone), “Flat Queen” (flat peach, freestone), and “Evmolpiya” (peach, freestone). The experimental collection plantation was created in the spring of 2014 on the territory of the Fruit Growing Research Institute, Plovdiv, (lat. 42.10384828045957 and long. 24.72164848814686). The data analysis shows that the varieties “Laskava” and “Evmolpiya” produce fruits with the highest weight – 319.60 g and 303.60 g, respectively. Medium weight is registered in the “Morsiani 90” variety (226.07 g) and the “July Lady” variety (193.87 g). “UFO 4” is characterized with the smallest fruits – an average of 143.83 g and the highest flesh yield. Considering the fact that the “Filina” variety is very early ripening, its fruits can be treated as large for the season – 170.21 g. The current paper presents the results of a comparative evaluation of 74 samples of the world collection preserved at the Vavilov Research Institute of Plant Industry named in 2013-2016. The analyses features individual elements of productivity, yield and the variation degree (Cv, %). The samples of the six-rowed barley of Leningradskiy and Potra cultivars have been found early-ripening (vegetation period 68-69 days). The highest capacity for productive tillering (1.93-2.40 productive stems) have been registered in the cultivars of Rupal, Corona, Malva, Chelyabinets 2, Nutans 302, Belgorodets and Talovsky 9. The best graininess of the ear belongs to the following cultivars: 18/7, Tduneja, Spratt, Sv. 66905, Milns Golden Promise, Vladimir. According to the mass of 1000 grains (40.0-52.3 g), T-12 (Nutans 129), Yastreb, Belgorodets, Talovsky 9, Yak-401, Nudum 95, Codac, Vakula, Potra, Kolchan. The best grain mass from one plant (1.40-1.79 g) was registered in 18/7, Tduneja, T-12 (Nutans 129), Elf, Belgorodets, Talovsky 9, Heimdal, Nudum 95, Codac, Vakula and Kolchan. According to the productivity and resistance to lodging, the following samples proved to be stable during the research period: M 1913/88 (Czechoslovakia), Asem (Kazakhstan), Etienne (Canada). Their yield reached 555.0-575.0 g/m2, which is 8.2-12.1 % higher than that of the standard Acha cultivar. The barley samples studied in the research are of practical interest for solving regional breeding problems in Eastern Siberia.

To study the reaction of an early-ripening soybean variety to the formation of plant reproductive organs under the influence of different length of daylight hours, studies of 2 sowing periods in a growing house with a new early-ripening variety Sentyabrinka of the FSBSI FRC VNII of Soybean were conducted. Artificial reduction of the daylight duration to 8 hours was established from the phase of the 3rd triple leaf with alternating day and night periods in each variant 7 times during the growing season. The control was plants whose growth and development took place in natural light conditions. According to the research results, it was found that the change in the daylight duration during the vegetation period had a significant impact on the duration of the phases of plant growth and development, the growing season as a whole. When sowing soybeans on May 28 with a natural daylight, the height of plants and their seed productivity were higher than those of plants with a shortened daylight. At this sowing period, the highest productivity was obtained from one plant – 9.3 g, which is 1.0 g more compared to soybean plants with a sowing period of June 3. The growth of plants, the formation of reproductive organs and the seed productivity of the early-repining variety Sentyabrinka depended on the duration of daylight, which can be regulated by the sowing period.

Maximum aphid numbers on wheat are positively related to the length of the period elapsed from immigration to the population peak. We predicted that maximum abundances on late maturing cultivars would be greater than on early ones. This was tested using 8 spring wheat cultivars that differed in the length of time to senescence. In a 4-year experiment, numbers of aphids were checked at weekly intervals. Maximum abundances on late-maturing cultivars were significantly greater than those on early cultivars. However, the length of the vegetation period affected maximum abundances less than did the annual variation in aphid abundance. Genetic disposition for early ripening thus tends to decrease aphid numbers, but manipulation of this character is unlikely to become an important source of aphid resistance.

Spontaneous and distant results were analyzed concerning hormonal treatment of 47 initial patients of reproductive age with endometrium cancer (EC). The cure in the prof. N.N.Petrov scientific-research institute was performed from 1975 with purpose of preseiving fertility without operation. In addition, literature data concerning analogical treatment of 36 patients were analyzed. Summary of all data concerning 83 patients EC without invasion in myometrium show about 80% patients were receptive to hormonotherapy and 61% had the full regression of endometrium tumor. The pregnancy occurs in 20% of patients, childbirth happen in 12% of patients. Relapses of illness were revealed in almost one half of 66 patients (48%) after the full regression of initial EC. Unique results obtained in the prof. N.N. Petrov scientific-research institute oncological department are explained by large number of observations and long monitoring patients. These data analysis allowed to define indications and conditions for use of such cure EC method: only inpatients with minimal high-differentiated Aden carcinoma and in specialized clinics. This method does not exclude any timely surgery cure component in case of relapse and together with it permits to realize the reproductive function.

Our measurements were done in a soil conditioner experiment started in 2014 which was set in conventional tillage system at the Karcag Research Institute where a soil conditioner was used from 2010. Effect of two different soil conditioners on compaction, moisture content of the soil and on CO2-emission was studied. Measurements were done after sowing of maize and millet, and on stubble after harvesting. It can be established that less degree of compaction was characteristic to the soil of the plots treated for several years with the soil conditioner during the vegetation period than in case of untreated plots. Higher CO2-emission values were observed on the plots treated for several years than on the control plots. This effect can’t be established in case of soil conditioners used for first time in this year.
