Debt behavior in daily life is not new; debt behavior is almost as old as human civilization because it has been detected since 3200 years BC. Until now debt behavior has become a trend in modern household life for a variety of reasons, therefore household debt behavior still has an appeal for a research study. The purpose of this study is: to test debt behavior with a financial inclusion approach and theory of planned behavior. Method: using the method of nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling, household units were sampled as many as 390 respondents with population areas of Pekanbaru City, Indonesia. The analytical tool used is SEM-warp PLS version 6. Findings: that TPB with three main elements namely behavioral attitudes, subjective norms and behavioral control can predict intentions and behavior of household debt, financial inclusion can then have a strong positive influence on debt behavior household. Conclusion: debt used as alternative income can smooth consumption, improve the quality of life and welfare in the household, but debt remains a burden and an obligation that must be paid by the household

This research aimed to analyze the cash waqf literacy index and factors influencing public intention to pay cash waqf. The analysis used is theory of planned behavior (TPB) and structural equation modeling (SEM) to measure the relationship of latent variables, i.e. cash waqf literacy, religiosity, attitudes, subjective norms and behavior control. The SEM model in this study was processed using Lisrel version 8.3 software. The results showed that the cash waqf literacy index of people in Jabodetabek was 59.04%, which is still included in the low literacy category. The results also showed that cash waqf literacy, religiosity, attitudes, subjective norms and behavioral control have a significant and positive influence on the intention in paying cash waqf. Entrepreneurship is the potential for development, both in number and quality of entrepreneurship itself. Indonesia faces the reality that the number of entrepreneurs is still small, at around 1,65% (Source: Berita Kementrian Koperasi dan Usaha Kecil dan Menengah, March 2015)), whereas it takes at least 2% of entrepreneurs to enable a prosperous country.This research was conducted by incorporating three factors that drive an action (Theory of Planned Behavior) which implemented as a supporting factor of entrepreneurship action; attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control. The type of method used a quantitative analysis. Data was collected through questionnaires and documentation. Analysis technique used is multiple linear regression and using Likert scale for measurement. The population was a student of Agribusiness UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta from 2008, 2009, 2010,2011, and 2012. The sampling is using proportionate stratified random sampling. There are 80 respondents.This research has R square = 0,412. The results of the study showed: (1) attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioral control is influencing simultaneously to encourage students for being an entrepreneur (p < 0,05) (2) There was a positive influence (partially) in each factors: attitude (p < 0,05), subjective norms (p < 0,05), and perceived behavioral control (p < 0,05) to affect students in entrepreneurship.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of attitudes on the intention to choose Islamic banks, to analyze the effect of subjective norm on the intention to choose Islamic banks. to analyze the effect of the control behavior of the intention to choose the Islamic banks, to analyze the moderating influence of religiosity on the relationship attitudes, subjective norms and behavioral control of the intention to choose the Islamic banks . The method used is a survey with a sampling technique used purposive sampling with a sample size of this study was 100 respondents . Further analysis tools used in this study is multiple regression analysis using SPSS 16.0 software . Based on this study it can be concluded that the attitude does not affect to the intention of choose Bank BRISyariah. Subjective norm positive effect on intention choose Bank BRISyariah. Control behavior does not affect to the intention choose Bank BRISyariah. Relationship between Attitudes, Subjective Norms and Behavior Control with the intention to select Bank BRISyariah not moderated by religiosity.Based on these conclusions can be said that the Bank BRISyariah should improve understanding related to the subjective norm in order to increase the number of customers who use the services of Islamic Banking . Further research is recommended in order to follow up and develop this research to further explore the independent and dependent variables continued before and after behavioral intention or intention to perform a specific action .

The increased population and economic of the community indirectly affect the amount of household waste produced by the community. Unfortunately, this is not accompanied by good waste management from the community level. Management of household waste at the community level can be done by sorting waste. The habit of people to dispose of garbage without sorting can be a problem in implementing 3R activities (Recycling, Reducing, and Reusing). The purpose of this study is to find out what factors influence the community in sorting household waste. This research is based on the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) which considers several factors such as attitudes, subjective norms, and behavioral controls to influence someone to make intentions in behavior and expand the TPB conceptual model to overcome gaps. The results of this study came from a survey with 301 respondents in two locations namely DKI Jakarta and Depok. The results of this study indicate that attitudinal factors have the most significant influence on the intention and behavior of sorting garbage. While other factors such as demographics, subjective norms and perceptions of behavioral control do not have a significant effect.

Smoking habit can be done by all circles and professions includes badminton athletes. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of attitude, subjective norms, and behavior control about smoking habit to athletes on the UKM Bulutangkis of X University Surabaya. This research is analytic by using cross sectional research design using total population in UKM Bulutangkis University X Surabaya. Respondents fulfilled the inclusion criteria in this study amounted to 35 atlet. Data analysis used is logistic regression. The result showed that as many as 40% athletes have smoking habit. The result of regression test showed that attitudes factor (Odds Ratio = 36), subjective norms (Odds Ratio = 15.583), and behavior control (Odds Ratio=17.333) influence smoking habits to UKM Bulutangkis of X University Surabaya is athletes. The conclusion of the research is attitude factor, subjective norm, and behavior control have positive influence to smoking habit at athlete at badminton badminton University X Surabaya. Attitudinal factors are the most positive factor in smoking. Athletes who smoke should start to reduce smoking by avoid and refuse a friend or neighborhood stimulus to smoking. Athletes who do not smoke, still maintain the habit of not smoking by motivating themselves that smoking will harm health. UKM Bulutangkis Universitas X Surabaya, should advise athletes who smoke to reduce smoking and quit smoking habit.

Abstract Background Tooth decay and periodontitis are among the most prevalent dental diseases globally with adverse effects on an individual’s general health. Recently the prevalence of dental caries has decreased significantly, but caries epidemiology remains a major problem in dental public health. This study investigated the impact of an oral health education intervention on Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) variables, and whether changes in these variables persisted and were associated with changes in identified oral health behaviors at 2-month follow-up. Methods This descriptive pre/post test study was conducted with 160 staff in the Baqiyatallah Hospital in Tehran. Six hospital wards were selected using a randomized multi-stratified sampling frame. The size for each cluster was calculated as 22 with each ward being allocated to either the intervention or the control arm of the study. Self-report questionnaires were used to evaluate socio-demographic factors, dental attendance as well as the constructs of the augmented TPB model (attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control intentions). The intervention was an educational program based on TPB constructs delivered via direct training to half the participants. The control group was provided with usual training only. The independent-samples T-test, Repeated-Measures one-way ANOVA, and matched T-test with the significance level set at p < 0.05 were applied. Results Findings revealed significant variations between the two groups immediately after the educational intervention concerning the attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, intentions to seek treatment, oral health behavior as well as decayed, missing, and filled teeth and bleeding on probing (p<0.001). Two months after the intervention, except for the brushing construct (p = 0.18), the differences between the two groups were all statistically significant (p<0.001). Conclusion Our findings affirm the positive effect an oral health education program has on enhancing the attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, intentions and behavior of staff in this hospital. The results of our study confirm that developing and applying an educational intervention in accordance with the theory of planned behavior can lead to significant changes in the knowledge, attitudes, and behavior of hospital staff regarding preventing tooth decay.

Abstract This study aims to empirically examine the influence of subjective norms, behavioral control, and intention on the attitude of internal auditors to report fraud with ethical leadership as a moderating variable. This study used a scenario-based survey of internal auditors working in state-owned and mid-level private companies. The sample was chosen by the non-random method because the sample was taken from the participants of the SNIA (National Internal Auditor Symposium) and in total, 117 respondents were gathered as valid samples. Data were analyzed using Warp PLS 4.0. This study proves that subjective norms and behavioral control have a positive effect on the attitude of internal auditors to report fraud, while intention has a negative influence on the attitude. Ethical leadership strengthens the positive influence of subjective norms and behavioral control on the attitude of the internal auditors. It also reinforces the negative influence of intention on the internal auditors’ attitude. This research supports a model of integration between Theory of Planned Behavior and Social Cognitive Theory, which states that the environment, in this case ethical leadership, influences the internal auditor's cognition in making ethical decisions. However, this study cannot prove that ethical leadership can reduce the negative influence of intention on the attitude of internal auditors to report fraud.

The circular economy can contribute to the eco-efficient use of resources. Firms can obtain relevant benefits if they implement a circular economy. In Peru, the circular economy would create benefits, but it is not fully clear what factors explain the acceptance of firms of implementing a circular economy. Following the theory of planned behavior, the current research assesses the influence of attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral norms, intentions, and pressures on behaviors towards the circular economy. A total of 71 medium-size firms based in Peru participated in an online survey. Six questions were focused on general information, and forty-seven questions evaluated the circular economy behavior of firms. A partial least square structural equation modeling technical analysis was used. It was found that attitudes (0.144), subjective norms (0.133), and perceived behavioral control (0.578) had a positive influence on intentions; also, perceived behavioral control (0.461) had a positive influence on behaviors towards the circular economy. Finally, pressures had a positive influence (0.162) on behaviors towards the circular economy. The model explained 64.3% of the behaviors towards the circular economy. The outcomes of the bootstrapping test were used to evaluate if the path coefficients are significant. This study showed that attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral norms, intentions, and pressures explained circular economy behaviors. This information can help firms develop strategies to move forward a circular economy and provide governments information about the current situation of circular economy implementation to generate new norms and strategies for more implementation of circular economy measures in enterprises. The novelty is based on using the PLS-SEM technique.

This study specifically discusses the relationships between consumers’ environmental concern, attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and their behavioral intention toward “green” restaurant. Such a study is important because behavioral intentions towards “green” practice in the restaurant industry is still an under-explored topic in the literature, despite the “green” trend. This study adopted Theory of Planned Behavior as the theoretical framework with additional environmental concern construct as antecedent. The findings from this research illustrate that customer’s environmental concern has a positive influence with behavioral intention toward “green” restaurant especially indirectly through attitude and perceived behavioral control. This study recommends that this topic of research needs to be explored more to understand the “green” restaurant customers and to develop marketing strategies to promote “green” restaurant in Indonesia.
