Abstract With the rise of the urban renewal motion in recent years in China, more and more cities have shifted the focus of construction to the renovation and renewal of old areas. The renewal of the old community plays an essential role in the urban upgrading of China, which is related to the quality of a city, as well as a crucial criterion for evaluating the comfort of the living environment. The old community to retain their vibrancy and culture is needed to renew by a way of modernization. The paper will discuss how to use micro-renewal design to improve the quality of the old community, awaking the historical memories of the community simultaneously, thereby balance the relationship between history and use-value.

The study reveals the aspects that defi ne the concept of “lifestyle”, including the main categories: standard of living, lifestyle, quality of life and lifestyle. Insuffi cient knowledge of the mutual infl uence of people’s “lifestyle” on the typological structure of apartments and residential buildings, on the quality of the urban environment is emphasized. The infl uence of the level of urbanization of the city territory on the characteristics of the “urban lifestyle” is considered. Problematic issues are raised related to the debate on the relationship between building density and comfort and the quality index of the living environment. The main directions of fundamental research in the fi eld of architecture, aimed at the development of new types of buildings, are touched upon. The emphasis is made on the methods of using high-rise buildings for the humanization of the urban environment and the formation of a modern “compact city”.

Background: An infant is an individual who possesses his/her own innate personality. Crying is a form of communication, an expression of emotions and temperament. Our study aims to predict an infant’s temperament in the early stage by analyzing the crying sound after painful stimulation of vaccination. Methods: We analyze three types of information: (i) the crying sounds caused by the pain stimuli from being injected with a Hepatitis B vaccine, (ii) the answers provided by the parents in a temperament assessment scale (TAS) questionnaire, and (iii) backend analyses of the audio signals of the crying sounds. These data are subjected to correlation analyses, T-tests, and normal distribution for deriving the relationship between crying and temperament. Results: The results show that the manifestations of an infant’s temperament may be affected by the living environment and feeding habits. A tendency exists for a group of infants with similar and focused crying sounds to have higher average scores for three of nine temperament traits: approach or withdrawal, intensity of reaction, and quality of mood. Conclusions: An infant’s crying sounds in response to a pain stimulus can be used to predict his/her temperament in terms of the three aforementioned traits.

Over the last three years the number of students choosing School of Marketing (SOM) Bunda Mulia University as a university choice has steadily increased. Studies have demonstrated that university preference at the time that students enter university may be significantly associated with their ultimate choice. The main purpose of this research is to examine the role of positive and negative affectivity variables on the relationship between optimism and satisfaction of school of marketing students to the role of bunda mulia university in providing accurate services study programs and student services. Several measurement assumptions were examined with the goal of assessing the program study lectures, validity of services, living environment, university facilities, university library, and general quality of day to day university services. Confirmatory factor an factor mixture analysis of interval data were used to examine the measurement assumptions. A correlated five-factor model for an abridged version of the factor analysis resulted in good fit when all negatively worded items and several positively worded items were excluded. The abridged item version of the factor analysis provides a promising alternative for the measurement of five factors that are pertinent to adolescents’ quality of university sevices either in program study lectures or in quality services to their students. The purpose of this paper is to explore student perceptions of study characteristics of their internships and to explore the relationship between study characteristics and overall satisfaction with their internship experiences. Bunda Mulia University may use this information to enhance the structure and tasks associated to improve university services. This paper also provides a comprehensive look and analysis of study at school of marketing and satisfaction analysis, as they related to satisfaction in an internship environment. In addition, lecturers’ academic qualifications tends to lead to a mismatch between students’ expectations and professional realities, therefore reduces students’ study satisfaction. Primary findings indicate that there is significant cause and effect on the adolescents’ satisfaction with their interpersonal relationships between their life and the virtual world. Social aspects also affect positive organizational outcomes, specifically positive word-of-mouth in society and community.

A smoke-free environment is crucial to the health of low-income, marginalized and vulnerable groups in the wake of COVID-19 and extreme weather. Low-income vulnerable groups mostly live in old residential areas, where the quality of living environment is poor. Ground buildings lack fire protection and smokeless facilities, and ground, rain and sewage pipes are mixed, posing serious safety and health risks. However, urban reconstruction and restoration often pay attention to the smoke-free environment, underground pipe network facilities and green and intelligent application of new residential areas, while ignoring the implantation of smoke-free environment, environmental protection and energy saving sustainable technology measures in the reconstruction of old residential areas. The old residential areas are the last link in the implementation of smoke-free policy and the most vulnerable areas of urban governance. Urban renewal design implanting smoke-free environment and green technology into urban fabric can improve its resilience and quality of living environment. Based on this, taking Shangdayanwan Central District, Yuzhong District of Chongqing, a typical mountain city, as an example, the reconstruction and design of the old residential area with green technology embedded in smoke-free environment was carried out, and the technical mechanism was explored, providing reference for urban renewal design to reduce pollution, prevent disasters and improve the ecological conservation of human settlements.

Abstract. Recently, Garfinkel and Critchley (2013) proposed to distinguish between three facets of interoception: interoceptive sensibility, interoceptive accuracy, and interoceptive awareness. This pilot study investigated how these facets interrelate to each other and whether interoceptive awareness is related to the metacognitive awareness of memory performance. A sample of 24 healthy students completed a heartbeat perception task (HPT) and a memory task. Judgments of confidence were requested for each task. Participants filled in questionnaires assessing interoceptive sensibility, depression, anxiety, and socio-demographic characteristics. The three facets of interoception were found to be uncorrelated and interoceptive awareness was not related to metacognitive awareness of memory performance. Whereas memory performance was significantly related to metamemory awareness, interoceptive accuracy (HPT) and interoceptive awareness were not correlated. Results suggest that future research on interoception should assess all facets of interoception in order to capture the multifaceted quality of the construct.

The scientific problem of economics “Managing the quality of human life” is formulated on the basis of artificial intelligence, algebra of logic and logical-probabilistic calculus. Managing the quality of human life is represented by managing the processes of his treatment, training and decision making. Events in these processes and the corresponding logical variables relate to the behavior of a person, other persons and infrastructure. The processes of the quality of human life are modeled, analyzed and managed with the participation of the person himself. Scenarios and structural, logical and probabilistic models of managing the quality of human life are given. Special software for quality management is described. The relationship of human quality of life and the digital economy is examined. We consider the role of public opinion in the management of the “bottom” based on the synthesis of many studies on the management of the economics and the state. The bottom management is also feedback from the top management.
