Crustaceans of the Azov–Black Sea basin, in particular, the shrimp Palaemon adspersus, are a type of raw material easily available in the domestic market, because the large volumes of its industrial production in the Azov–Black Sea basin make it inexpensive and abundant. That is why we have suggested innovative products with the addition of Palaemon adspersus meat: dumplings (pelmeni) and fish fingers. We selected the following main recipe components of these dumplings: Palaemon adspersus meat, Azov–Black Sea goby meat, unleavened dough, and those for fish fingers: Palaemon adspersus meat, Azov–Black Sea goby meat, egg powder. To enhance the taste and aroma, Svanetian salt was added to the minced meat in the model compositions of the products developed. To substantiate the rational content of the recipe components in the model compositions of products with Palaemon adspersus meat added, the method of qualimetric analysis of the sensory parameters was used. According to the results of qualimetric evaluation, it has been found that for dumplings, the best ratio of Palaemon adspersus meat, Azov–Black Sea goby meat, and unleavened dough is 1:2.7:3, and for fish fingers, the most practical ratio of Palaemon adspersus meat, Azov–Black Sea goby meat, and egg powder is 2.5:6.5:1. The obtained results of qualimetric analysis of the model compositions have been confirmed by mathematical calculations using multiple linear regression with initial determination of criterial factors of influence. According to the mathematical calculations performed, the highest value of the parameter (y1 = 0.93) has been obtained for the model composition of dumplings with Palaemon adspersus meat added with the ratio of the recipe components 1:2.7:3. For fish fingers, the highest value of the parameter (y4 = 0.8) has been determined for the model composition where the ratio of the recipe components was 2.5:6.5:1. These calculations confirm the objectivity, efficiency, and practicality of the chosen method of qualimetric analysis of the model compositions under study

Today scientific base of technologies of capsulated products by methods of ionotropic structuring allows to create a new segment of food industry of the Ukrainian food market. Implementation of such innovations creates preconditions for developing principles of food raw materials processing, constructing the new equipment and successful competition at the world food market. The article studies the influence of agar and low-etherified pectin in the composition of capsules, based on gel Alg2Са on the mass-transfer of substances at the expanse of thermotropic gelation. Obtained results testify to the possibility to create systems with different permeability for high- and low-molecular substances on this base. Studied systems are characterized with different speeds of releasing active substances that may be used for providing their prolonged effect on the human organism. Modification of alginate-calcium tunics of capsules with the internal fatty raw material content by using the method of mixed gelation allows to correct structural-mechanical and, as a result, organoleptic and quality parameters of capsulated products. Determination of the active acidity influence on texture parameters allows to correct a speed and regulations of releasing internal contents in zones of the gastrointestinal tract at homeostasis that allows to control physiological ability of innovative products.

The purpose of the research was to know the affect of many factors which affected to the production volume in PT. Kelola Mina Laut Gresik. What the price of raw materials was and the used of raw materials partially and simultan eously affected on the production volume. The analysis tool which used was a model of multiple linear regression. Hypothesis testing used t test and F test, both at the significant level 5%. Based of the analysis of research on PT Kelola Mina Laut Gresik. Partially, inventory raw material price had not significant effect on the production volume, consumption of raw material inventory affected significantly of the production volume. Inventory of raw material price and the use of raw material simultan eously affect significantly to the production volume.

Abstract A liquid chromatographic method for the determination of amiodarone hydrochloride and 10 related compounds in drug raw material and for assay of drug in tablets was developed. The method specifies a 3 jxm Hypersil nitrile column (150 × 4.6 mm), a mobile phase of 1 + 1 acetonitrile–ammonium acetate buffer (0.1 M adjusted to pH 6.0 with 0.1 M acetic acid), a flow rate of 1 mL/min, and detection at 240 nm. The lower limit of quantitation of the related compounds is 0.02% or less. Drug contents in 2 raw material samples were 100.1 and 99.9% and ranged from 98.2 to 99.4% in 3 tablet formulations. Impurity levels in 2 samples of raw material from different manufacturers were ca 0.4%. The presence of 3 of the known related compounds in these samples was confirmed by liquid chromatographymass spectrometry. The method applied to raw materials was evaluated by a second laboratory and found to be satisfactory.

Non-destructive determination of workpiece properties after heat treatment is of great interest in the context of quality control in production but also for prevention of damage in subsequent grinding process. Micromagnetic methods offer good possibilities, but must first be calibrated with reference analyses on known states. This work compares the accuracy and reliability of different calibration methods for non-destructive evaluation of carburizing depth and surface hardness of carburized steel. Linear regression analysis is used in comparison with new methods based on artificial neural networks. The comparison shows a slight advantage of neural network method and potential for further optimization of both approaches. The quality of the results can be influenced, among others, by the number of teaching steps for the neural network, whereas more teaching steps does not always lead to an improvement of accuracy for conditions not included in the initial calibration.

Measurement of the productivity of firms is an important research issue in productivity literature. Over the years, various methods have been developed to measure firm productivity across the globe. But there is no unanimity on the use of methods, and research on the identification of factors which determine productivity has been neglected. In view of these gaps, this study aims to measure total factor productivity (TFP) and tries to identify firm-specific factors which determine productivity of Indian manufacturing companies. The study is based on data of 616 firms from 1998–99 to 2012–13. To measure TFP, the Levinsohn–Petrin (L-P) method has been employed, and the fully modified ordinary least squares (FMOLS) method has been used to identify factors that affect TFP. The results reveal that embodied and disembodied technology plays a crucial role in the determination of productivity overall in manufacturing and other sub-industries. Similarly, the size of firms and intensity of raw material imports are also important for the determination of productivity across the sub-industries. JEL Classification: C14, C33, D24, L60

Ultrasonic molding (USM) is a good candidate for studying the plasticization of polymer mixtures or other composite materials due to either the little amount of material needed for processing, low waste or the needed low pressure and residence time of the mold. Thus, the novelty of this research is the capability of USM technology to process PLA/PCL blends and their corresponding neat materials, encompassing all the production stages, from raw material to the final specimen. The major findings of the work revealed that the thermal properties of the blends were not affected by the USM process, although the crystallinity degree experienced variations, decreasing for PLA and increasing for PCL, which was attributed to the crystallization rate of each polymer, the high process speed, the short cooling time and the small particle size. The employed ultrasonic energy increased the molecular weight with low variations through the specimen. However, the degradation results aligned with the expected trend of these material blends. Moreover, this study also showed the effect pellet shape and dimensions have over the process parameters, as well as the effect of the blend composition. It can be concluded that USM is a technology suitable to successfully process PLA/PCL blends with the correct determination of process parameter windows.
