Team-based learning strategy is widely applied in the world's higher education institutions in the most diverse fields of studies. Its popularity is due to its positive impact on student’s achievement. Team-based learning increases student’s motivation and involvement into the study process, and its implementation enables students to acquire the competencies necessary in the modern labor market. The research problem: what are the opportunities to adapt team-based learning strategies into university studies? Research object: team-based learning strategy. Aim: to explore the possibilities of Team-based learning strategy in bachelor studies. The research found, that in order to successfully adapt this strategy, it should be taken into consideration that a significant part of students is working students, and classes are missed. In cases where attendance is not compulsory, larger teams should be formed. It has been found that it is difficult for students to apply theoretical knowledges by solving real practical situations, so the teachers must to be prepared various of practical examples, in order to successfully adapt the team-based learning strategy, it is expedient to use already available, high-quality studies materials and properly adjust schedules.

Team-based learning is a student-orientated active learning strategy created by Lary Michaelsen in 1979. Team-based learning is widely used not only in the United States of America, but all around the world: in Asian, European, and Middle Eastern universities and colleges. It is extremely popular in biomedicine as well as in social sciences. It is, unfortunately, rare in Lithuanian higher education. There is a large network of team-based learning strategy consultants in Singapore, Japan, Australia, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Uruguay, and North America.Research aim: to introduce the team-based learning strategy.Research questions: what is team-based learning strategy? What are the main reasons of the prevalence of team-based learning strategies? How is the team-based learning strategy adopted to the learning subject?Research object: Team-based learning strategy.Research method: literature analysis.The popularity of team-based learning is determined by its effectiveness: it motivates students, ensures their involvement, develops critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal leadership, and conflict management and similar skills. Team-based learning ensures the satisfaction of students with the learning process.There are four essential elements of the team-based learning strategy: teams must be properly formed and managed; students must be motivated to attend class and must come prepared; students must learn to use course concepts to solve problems; students must be truly accountable in case the lecturer decides to implement team based learning into their subject.

Abstract: The aim of the research is to examine student employment, which plays an important role in the lives of university students. According to previous research results, paid work is characterized by an increasing tendency, with occasional and holiday work being characteristic of students, as well as regular work during the semester too. Current research focuses on the characteristics of gainful employment in the Hungarian-Romanian border region. The database PERSIST 2019 (N = 2199) was used, the research took place in higher education institutions in the eastern region of Hungary and in higher education institutions bordering the country. We investigate the differences between the demographic, social and institutional backgrounds of working students. We also analyze the relationships between effectiveness, engagement and student employment. According to our results there are differences between the institutions both in the frequency of employment and in the horizontal fit of work. Hungarian students take up work more often than Romanian students, but study-related work is more typical for Romanian students. However, paid work does not hinder the academic performance of the students and the building of relationships within the institution, it even has a positive impact on the students' university career.

Background: Todays modern and future cardio-respiratory physiotherapists are, and will be, presented with ubiquitous and uncertain complex problems in professional life. Yet, to date, teaching approaches lack robust scientific evidence of optimal learning to stimulate students active cognitive engagement of higher-order skills beyond knowledge and skills transfer and are only focused on graduation. For the past two decades, pedagogy recommends the use of active learning strategies to enhance authentic student engagement, self-efficacy, and satisfaction. In recent years, team-based learning (TBL) is emerging as a popular student-centered active collaborative learning strategy that promotes individual and team learning in medical and allied health education. Objective: This paper reports on the design and impact of the novel Hybrid Team-Based learning" (H-TBL) on students engagement and perceptions of their learning experience in a Year 2 undergraduate physiotherapy Cohort. Study Design : A retrospective study. Methods: In 2019, a keynote lecture on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) was taught using a novel hybrid team-based learning" (H-TBL) comprising phases 1-4, delivered in two sessions (COPD1 and 2) to our year two (n=136), undergraduate physiotherapy students. Results: Of 136 students, 82% engaged in Phase 1, 80% attended Phase 2, and 3 of COPD 2 sessions, and 74% engaged in phase 4. 72% provided their perception of their learning experience. Conclusion: The majority of our students valued the learning experience in H-TBL design. This study confers that H-TBL supports students active engagement and self- efficacy. Future randomized studies are mandated to explore the validity and specificity of H-TBL in the physiotherapy curriculum.


This study aims to examine the effectiveness of interactive entrepreneurship activity in mathematics learning towards students’ mastery in mathematics concepts. The objective is to look at the impact of implementing an active learning strategy combined with technology on mastery of mathematics concepts after engaging in a learning activity. The combination of technology in interactive learning and games kits in the form of interactive entrepreneurship activity has resulted in the innovation of learning strategies to enhance the learning interest, enjoyment and to influence the mastery of students' mathematics concepts. The effectiveness study of the strategy was conducted using an experimental study design that involved 109 students from 2 secondary schools who had participated in a 4-week mathematics learning treatment session. The experiment group was exposed to interactive entrepreneurship activity through the use of a learning kit while the control group followed conventional learning for a selected mathematics topic. Post-test were conducted to see differences in understanding and achievement of mathematics concepts for both groups of students. The results show that there is a significant difference between the mastery of mathematics concept of the experiment group students and the control group students. This shows that the integration of technology in learning activities has a positive impact on student learning. The implications of the study indicate that teachers need to constantly improve pedagogical knowledge based on current technological developments and improve teaching strategies in order to improve student competencies. The parties also need to provide the latest technology to improve the quality of education in line with global developments.

The Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) strategies can be the best. It can be achieved by a sub-goal that will be more important in the younger generation. This paper proposes the process of developing factors (attributes) which are related to the development of learning styles through self-regulated strategies. The objectives of this paper are (1) to study the perception and attitude toward the attributes of students with self-regulated learning of the students in higher education, and (2) to find the level of acceptance towards the factor of SRL using applied statistics and machine learning technology. The results show that two tools have proved the respondents and the factors of SRL in the accepted level. Besides, the results found that Thai higher education students still focus on formal learning, which conflicts with the behavior and us-age of Internet and telephone in the classroom. In future work, the author is committed to develop and apply a self-regulated learning strategy model with a combination of collaborative learning strategies of blended learning. Also, it supports undergraduate students in analyzing the factors and studying the behavior patterns of learners in suitable modern learning.

This study aims to determine the learning strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving student self control in SMA Negeri 4 Binjai. To answer the research problem, researchers describe how the learning strategies of Islamic Religious Education teachers in improving student self control, and what are the inhibiting and supporting factors for implementing Islamic religious education learning strategies in improving student self control in SMA Negeri 4 Binjai. This study uses a qualitative method with the type of case study research so that this research problem can be explored in detail. Data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and study of documents. The technique of guaranteeing the validity of the data is carried out by testing the data credibility, the dependability test, and the confirmation. Data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The result is PAI teacher learning strategies using several strategies including expository learning strategies, inquiry learning strategies, problem based learning strategies and cooperative learning strategies. In addition, the school has several strategies in improving student self control, namely the Individual approach to students, habit of doing positive things, organizing good programs and establishing joint responsibility to improve students' Self Control. Supporting and inhibiting factors in improving students' Self Control in SMA 4 Binjai In applying Self Control, there are several supporting factors. As the principal, teachers, staff and students provide good support and support all types of programs that are held. The inhibiting factor is that the infrastructure facilities are inadequate for learning given the large number of students who need conducive learning places. On the other hand learning time constraints become a barrier considering the lack of PAI learning hours which can only be used for the delivery of material demanded by the curriculum (syllabus) so that improvements in implementing self control cannot take place properly.

The chapter investigated the facilities available, extent of usage, and the various methods, perspectives, and strategies of blended learning used as well as possible challenges in Nigeria higher education using Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife as a case study. The descriptive survey research design was adopted. An instrument titled “Questionnaire on Opportunities and Implementation of Blended Learning” was administered on 216 lecturers selected by simple random sampling technique. Data collected were analyzed using frequency counts and simple percentages. The results showed that facilities are fairly available and there is moderate extent of usage of the available facilities for incorporating blended learning strategy. Lecturers used 21 different methods, the five blended learning perspectives, and four different strategies. Various challenges were identified. The study concluded that opportunities were available for lecturers to implement blended learning strategy into the classroom instruction delivery if the major challenges faced are properly addressed.

Online learning is one among the foremost broadly speaking used terms, that has passed within the pitch of education at the side of IT, students, and college need quick and simple access to new technical and academic methods.The online learning methods objects are primarily meant to be used by students for self-study. to boot, instructors will use on-line resources to supplement their room teaching. So, this study discusses several on-line methods that may be applied and investigate in school rooms and live their effectiveness. that an intermingled learning strategy approach, computer-based learning approach, on-line learning vs offline learning (Ubiquitous Digital Information), and Team-based learning (TBL), From the table, lead to the present analysis we are able to conclude that the excellent strategy is mixed learning that provides the proportion of the height then follow by computer-based learning, so team-based learning, finally present digital learning.

Learning in college is very urgent considering aspects of relevance and effectiveness. One strategy that becomes the trend of study is problem-based learning. Problem-based learning strategies are considered urgent and relevant to be applied in higher education, as an effort to trigger scientific exploration to foster critical and creative thinking skills. Problem based learning strategies should be based on research in order to have a systemic scientific structure, a strong, functional and implementative foundation in learning. The relevance and effectiveness of the implementation of problem-based learning strategies is designed with a management approach. Management breaks down the stages of problem-based learning strategies, including planning, implementation, and evaluation (assessment). Problem-based learning strategy planning includes the preparation of Semester Learning Plans (Rencana Pembelajaran Semester or RPS) that refer to the curriculum of study programs, establish learning outcomes, design teaching materials, analyze students, choose media, compile learning evaluation systems, and predict possible problems. All of them are designed with problem-based adapted from the results of the research. Implementation of problem-based learning begins with initial activities including attendance, apperception, orientation, and motivation, core activities include exploration, elaboration, and confirmation, and final activities including conclusions and assessments (evaluations). Evaluation of learning includes program assessment, implementation assessment, and assessment of goals achievement. Principles of learning assessment include educative, objective, accountability, and transparent. Measuring the achievement of problem-based learning is seen in indicators of critical and creative thinking abilities, including problem response, understanding problems, knowing cause of problems, able to find alternative solutions, recognize the impact of the problem, and be able to connect with other science disciplines. The strategy of problem-based learning in higher education has implications for students' interest and motivation in developing critical and creative thinking skills.

Planning of study process and research of quality standards in learning organisations is based on the theory of knowledge (epistemology). Modern studies in higher education systems are generally based on the learning theory principles of connectivism and constructivism. However, these teaching/ learning principles are not adequately applied in learning organisations. The aim of the research is to reveal the problems related with inadequate application of connectivism and constructivism pedagogy principles in education and business organisations. The results of the research show that application of connectivism principles in education organisations impersonalises study content, diminishes pedagogic conditions of value system education, increases study costs. Connectivism ppedagogy is more effective in business organisations, because it guarantees interactive, reflection and learnerexperience based cognition. The theory is effective in business organisations because of its flexible content and the system oriented towards learner needs and individualised learning strategy.
