Abstract Metric studies on internationalization, especially indicators of co-authorship, present challenges regarding the collection, representativeness, and reliability of the data measuring the impacts of international mobility. Aiming to contribute to the understanding of scientific collaboration initiatives, the present research’s objective was to investigate the relationship between outside teacher education, represented by the completion of a doctoral degree and post-doctoral internship, and international collaboration, identified by the international co-authorships in institutional scientific output. The research method was the exploratory case study, and the case unit was the Federal University of São Carlos. The Lattes Platform and the Web of Science were used as sources of information, and the sample analyzed comprised 12,787 scientific articles and 1,915 Lattes resumés. It was found that 1,850 teachers have doctoral or post-doctoral education (96.6%) and, of these, 632 graduated abroad (33.1%). Regarding the scientific output, 3,487 of the 12,787 articles were published in international co-authorship (27.3%). From the scientific output in international co-authorship, indicators on the groups of teachers with and without education abroad were analyzed. Among the indicators developed, 8.43 articles per teacher were identified for the group with education abroad, while in the group without education abroad, 4.26 articles were identified per teacher. The results demonstrate a positive relationship between doctoral or post-doctoral education abroad with international co-authorships, contributing to institutional internationalization.

SUMMARY BACKGROUND. This study aimed to evaluate the scientific production of researchers in the field of Medicine who receive a productivity grant from the CNPq. METHODS: The curriculum Lattes of 542 researchers with active grants from 2012 to 2014 were included in the analysis. Grants categories/levels were stratified into three groups according to the CNPq database (1A-B, 1C-D, and 2). RESULTS. There was a predominance of grants in category 2. During their academic career, Medicine researchers published 76512 articles, with a median of 119 articles per researcher (IQ, interquartile range, 77 to 174). Among the 76512 articles, 36584 (47.8%) were indexed in the Web of Science (WoS database). Researchers in Medicine were cited 643159 times in the WoS database, with a median of 754 citations (IQ, 356 to 1447). There were significant differences among the categories of grants concerning the number of citations in WoS (P <0.001). There was a significant difference in the number of times researchers were cited according to the specialty included in Medicine area. (P < 0.001). CONCLUSION. Strategies to improve the scientific output qualitatively possibly can be enhanced by the knowledge of the profile of researchers in the field of Medicine.

Abstract. Infographic is a popular term which resonates quite significantly in the world of the Internet for a long time. It became a very often used phrase not only in various forums, blogs, and websites, but also turned into a part of the scientific research presentation and later as a field of study in (not only) cartographic visualization as well. Either, the cartography is no exception. Many cartographers practically used this term and its generally known principles. Nevertheless, principles and its well-known essence are not officially and uniformly defined yet.The paper aims to present the evolution of infographics in time and its intersection and the usage focusing on cartography. The main aim is to figure out trends and milestones which are noticeable from the gradual evolution of infographics. The interests and activities of the professional scientific groups of the International Cartographic Association, as well as the thematic focus of the papers at the annual international conferences, confirm the growing popularity of the professional public.The case study figures out, through practical examples, when infographic has become a valuable part of cartographic creation and subject of study in cartographic research. Based on the available literature, professionally oriented forums and thematically focused articles at the Web of Science, the paper seeks to show an extended view of infographics. According to trendsetters, it is a popular design concept, nevertheless, it is still not given significant scientific attention from a professional point of view.The motivation for this research is to compile an evolution timeline of infographics, describe significant trends and define key milestones influencing its development, especially in the field of practical usage in cartography.

Research Question: RQ1: What is fraud? RQ2: Where do we find fraud? It is fraud a multidisciplinary element? Why? Motivation: Most of the literature states that fraud is a topic of great interest, but no one has tried to prove why, but also to show how much interest in publishing about the subject of fraud has increased. Idea: Our study looked at an  international database (Web of Science) to demonstrate the growing interest in studying fraud  in various fields. But we also did a case study presenting a complex case of fraud, discovered by DGAF in Romania. Data: The data were collected from Web of  Science database and an analysis was made based on the 17,825 results found when searching for the word "fraud", and then we also did a case study presenting a complex case of fraud, discovered by DGAF in Romania, collecting data by direct observation of one of the authors. Tools: To test study’s hypotheses, we analyzed the Web of Science database. Findings: The results answer in the affirmative to the research question. Also, the implications of the results are that all actors can outline an overview of the phenomenon, but especially reveals the gaps in the discovery of the phenomenon. Following progress in modern medicine, advances have been made in diagnosis and treatment tools. Multifunctional nanomaterials that combine therapeutic and diagnostic functions in a single nanostructured complex are known as ‘theranostics’. To obtain a theranostic, a single particle, usually a nanoparticle, is manufactured to contain a therapeutic element (such as a drug) coupled with an imaging element. There are many kinds of nanoparticles available today that can be used to obtain theranostics, such as liposomes, cyclodextrin, conjugates and complexes, dendrimers, vesicles, micelles, core-shell particles, microbubbles, and carbon nanotubes. Because these materials interact with and should have effects on biological systems, their use may overcome health challenges. Considering the novelty and importance of this subject, this review aims to present general information about theranostics and discuss the safety and presumable toxicity of these constructs. In addition, we describe the methodologies that can be used to assess the safety of theranostics. This review is based on a literature search on theranostics, using the Web of Science, PubMed and Science Direct as the main sources of information. The period of publication was not delimited due to the scarcity of information and publications on this topic. Although many promising theranostic systems have been investigated and may revolutionise therapy, when designing new tools, researchers need to find alternatives to minimise their toxicity. The study of the toxicology and biocompatibility of theranostics needs to be continued, including clinical studies, with the aim of benefitting many patients in the future.

El conocimiento de las distintas partes que forman las sesiones de Educación Física, así como su definición, aporta información relevante para facilitar el trabajo y el entendimiento del docente a la hora de organizar las sesiones de manera eficiente. El objetivo de la presente investigación es conocer cuáles son las diferentes partes que estructuran la sesión de Educación Física y sus características. Por otro lado, se pretende unificar estos criterios con el fin de establecer una propuesta terminológica, eficaz y funcional. Siguiendo la estructura del protocolo PRISMA, se realizó una revisión sistemática de las bases de datos de WEB OF SCIENCE y ERIC. Además, se utilizaron otras fuentes de información, Dialnet, Cafyd, Retos, Google Schoolar y los repositorios de Alicante, Elche, Valencia, Madrid y Barcelona. Se obtuvieron 16 publicaciones de 10 autores, donde se dividían las sesiones en distintas partes y se definían cada una de ellas. Tras la revisión y análisis de los datos obtenidos, se considera que todos los autores que aparecen en esta revisión aportan distintas clasificaciones y definiciones de las partes de la sesión de Educación Física, con el fin de optimizar el tiempo en las sesiones de Educación Física gracias al uso de esa terminología. Summary. The knowledge of the different parts that make up the Physical Education lessons, as well as their definition, provides relevant information to facilitate the teacher's work and understanding when organizing the sessions efficiently. The objective of the present investigation is to know what the different parts that structure the Physical Education lesson are and its characteristics. On the other hand, it is intended to unify these criteria in order to establish a terminological, effective and functional proposal. Following the structure of the PRISMA protocol, a systematic review of the WEB OF SCIENCE and ERIC databases was carried out. In addition to this, other sources of information were used, Dialnet, Cafyd, Retos, Google Schoolar and the repositories of Alicante, Elche, Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona. 16 publications were obtained from 10 authors, where the lessons were divided into different parts and each one was defined. After reviewing and analyzing the data obtained, it is considered that all the authors that appear in this review provide different classifications and definitions of the parts of the Physical Education lesson, in order to optimize time in Physical Education sessions thanks to the use of that terminology.

The knowledge economy and the changing nature of knowledge production, the increased interaction between public agencies, industry and universities, and the changing labour market for doctoral degree holders are forces that together have led to an increased interest in the organization of doctoral education – particularly the role of collaborative doctoral education. Models like the Triple Helix have become important frameworks for conceptually capturing the interactions and dynamics of industry, government and university collaborations at various levels. Yet, empirical research on the motivations of and outcomes for the industrial partners in collaborative PhD education remains scanty. Through a case study conducted in Sweden, this article discusses the perceived industrial benefits of participating in collaborative doctoral education. The analysis shows that the outcomes of industrial participation are highly connected to the organization of the collaboration, and the authors identify four important criteria that are key to ensuring industrial relevance. The article also highlights significant policy implications for encouraging and supporting collaborative doctoral training, as the authors conclude that it is a powerful tool in addressing skills gaps in industry.

<p class="0abstract">The impact factor  and CiteScore of journals are known to be positively correlated with journal percentile but the use of the later to predict the formers are scarcely discussed, especially for journals in a specific subject classifications based on the web of science. This paper proposed different curve estimation models for predicting the impact factor and CiteScore of 89 telecommunication journals using their corresponding percentiles. Out of the 11 models, only Logistic, exponential, Growth and Compound models are the best models for predicting the impact factor and CiteScore using their corresponding journal percentiles. The models were chosen because of their high values of R Square and Adjusted R Square and low values of the standard error of the estimates. In addition, strong significant positive correlations were obtained between impact factor and the CiteScore of the journals. The findings will help authors and editors in decision making as regards to manuscript submission and planning.</p>
