The teaching-learning process is complex and leaves many question marks, mainly when one thinks about quality. Therefore, this study aims at identifying factors that interfere positively or negatively in the teaching-learning process, through the perspective of students and faculty of the Nursing course at the Universidade Norte do Paraná- UNOPAR. This descriptive study with a qualitative approach was carried out through the critical incidents technique. Thirty-six faculty and 140 students participated. Data analysis revealed that the students mentioned 435 critical incidents related to the category faculty behavior, being 317 negative references and 118 positive. According to the faculty members' reports, the category interaction with the group produced 58 references, being 10 positive and 48 negative. An adequate teaching-learning process requires good faculty-student and student-student relationships, favoring good interaction and efficient learning.

ABSTRACT Objective: to analyze the perceptions of professors and students on academic tutoring. Method: descriptive study with a qualitative approach, carried out at the Magalhães Barata School of Nursing, State University of Pará, Brazil. Twenty-seven professors and 32 students participated in the study. Data were collected through semi-structured and individual interviews, using different scripts for professors and students. For analysis, the technique of content analysis was used. Results: we defined three thematic categories: academic tutoring as a tool for strengthening teaching-learning; academic tutoring as a possibility of intellectual and social transformation; and reflections of academic tutoring in nurses’ training. Final considerations: the teaching-learning process is referred to as a process in which there must be dialogue, and in which professors, students, and tutors learn with each other, breaking the traditional paradigms of unilateral and vertical transfer of content. Academic tutoring stands out as promoter and strengthener of this process.

The main focus of this research is to investigate corrective feedback made by the English teacher during classroom interaction. The study was qualitative research. The data in this study were the utterances that spoken by teacher and student during the classroom activity. The data were collected through a record where the writer himself recorded the utterances during teaching learning process a ninety-minute in duration. In this study, the teacher is an English teacher who teaches at grade XI SMA Payakumbuh. The data were analyzed by qualitative approach, writer explained corrective feedback types that happened in classroom interaction. There are six types of corrective feedback occurred in the classroom interaction at SMA 1 Payakumbuh namely: recast, repetition, clarification request, explicit correction, elicitation, and paralinguistic correction. Recast, clarification request and elicitation are the most corrective feedback applied by teacher in the classroom interaction.

This study aims to analyze as well to investigate the phenomenon of teaching English online during the re-emerging pandemic situation forcing the teaching learning process to be re-implemented online. In this case, every layer of educational level can’t fail to be affected by the cataclysmic event, which is highlighted in this study. This turnout of event made the course of learning to be challenging not only for students who undergone the process, but also teachers who maintain the conduciveness of the classroom. Perspective from educators are considered required elements since the on-going process of knowledge transfer is at stake. The subjects were 10 cross-level English teachers situated in Java and Sumatera. Qualitative approach utilizing semi-structured interview method in obtaining the necessitated data was chosen as the best method and approach in the study. The participants mainly agreed with the online learning system, though they faced challenges like limited subsidiary quotas, students’ poor condition, students’ misbehavior and lack of better equipments. Besides various approaches and solution in facing the challenges, it was also known that writing was considered the most challenging to teach among the four basic skills.

This descriptive study explores the concept of caring in nursing education from the students’ perspective. Students were asked to share moments of caring that they experienced in a nursing course. A content analysis revealed a relational nature of humanistic caring demonstrated by the following themes: connectedness, presence, growth, and respect. Results identified caring as relational and being connected with other; that is, caring is grounded in nurse-educator-student relationships.

Resumo: O presente trabalho tem como intuito investigar sobre a importância do lúdico no processo de ensino aprendizagem e no desenvolvimento da criança, esta análise se justifica por conjecturar que a ludicidade tem grande influência no processo de evolução infantil, pois é mediante o brincar que a criança amplifica seus sentidos, e propicia uma melhor forma de se expressar. Para a realização da pesquisa foi aprofundado como o brincar influência e contribui para o crescimento infantil, para tanto foi utilizado autores que enfatizaram a atuação do lúdico no crescimento de aquisição do aluno, a saber: Soares (2010), Vigotsky (2007), Silva (2012), Malaquias (2013), Barbosa (2010), Violada (2011), Lima Junior (2017), Souza (2015), Almeida (2014) dentre outros citados. Para a metodologia foi utilizada a pesquisa exploratória, o estudo de caso bibliográfico, sob uma abordagem qualitativa. Durante o estudo foi constatado que ensinar ludicamente torna a aprendizagem mais significativa para o aluno, tais atividades tem o papel importante de auxiliar no desenvolvimento em diversos aspectos. Sendo assim é muito importante a ludicidade na vida, não só da criança, mas para todo ser humano.  Palavras-Chave: Aprendizagem; Brincadeiras; Jogos; Lúdico.---Abstract: This study aims to investigate the importance of play in the teaching-learning process and in child development. This analysis is justified by the conjecture that playfulness has a great influence on the process of child evolution, as it is through play that child amplifies their senses, and provides a better way to express themselves. To carry out the research, it was deepened how playing influences and contributes to child growth, authors who emphasized the role of play in the growth of student acquisition were used, namely: Soares (2010), Vigotsky (2007), Silva (2012), Malaquias (2013), Barbosa (2010), Violada (2011), Lima Junior (2017), Souza (2015), Almeida (2014) among others cited. For the methodology, exploratory research was used, the bibliographic case study, under a qualitative approach. During the study it was found that teaching playfully makes learning more meaningful for the student, such activities have an important role to assist in development in several aspects. This study aims to determine the process of learning Arabic vocabulary with several methods in the class, and how teachers deal with these obstacles. There needs to be a breakthrough for teachers to be more creative in choosing alternative methods, the methods used by teachersin Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid to make it easier for students to improve their memory in memorizing Arabic vocabulary. In its application is to use mnemonic techniques including those that are often used, namely association and rhyme. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach, data collection techniques that researchers do by observation and interviews, the results of this study indicate: First, the application of Arabic vocabulary learning using the association and rhyme method runs well and smoothly, the learning process becoms more fun, can foster student enthusiasm, thus it can be concluded that the teaching of vocabulary using these methods proved effective for improving student learning outcomes Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Jadid.

Background: the purpose of this paper is to present some educational actions aimed at the effective achievement of a communicative style by teachers in the local Cuban context. Objective: proposing educational actions for a developing learning in student’s medicine. Methods: a cross-sectional descriptive study, carried out in the period between October 2018 and March 2019, with student’s medicine in the town of Santa Clara, Cuba. Theoretical methods are used systemic, historical-logical and analytical-synthetic; as well as empirical ones: documentary analysis, questionnaire to students, interview to experts; and the descriptive method. Results: it was found that in the teaching-learning process from the student’s medicine, features of the rote teaching are used and have difficulties in the communication. Conclusions: the existing needs in the students stimulated the authors to propose educational actions to achieve a communicative and motivating developer learning in adolescent students.

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Arabic language teachers in applying the eclectic method in class VI SDIT Mataram pious child. This study uses a qualitative approach. To collect data using the method of observation, interviews and documentation. As for the analysis, the author uses descriptive qualitative analysis techniques, namely the form of data that is written or spoken of observation and learning activities so that in this case the author seeks to conduct research that is both thorough portrait of the real situation. The results of this study indicate that the application of the eclectic method in teaching Arabic language teachers use to facilitate the teaching-learning process in the classroom. In addition, the eclectic method can depict a variety of teaching methods more effective Arabic language, so that students do not get bored in receiving the material being taught.

 A Descriptive Study was conducted at the ten grade of SMAN 1 Purbalingga, revealed the teachers’ ways in maximizing STT in the EFL class. The data, which were collected and analyzed from observation, interview, and questionnaire, showed that the classroom management is important to make a good atmosphere in teaching learning process. Making an interactive classroom by reducing the central (and traditional) position and by giving chances for students to express themselves in meaningful ways are very effective to create the opportunities in STT. Also, using pair and group work which have various activities are able to build the students’ enthusiasm in their talking and give much time to talk. Moreover, by giving questions such as knowledge and comprehension questions is able to stimulate students to speak and give the time to practice their languages. The most effective way in maximizing STT is by giving chances for students to express themselves in meaningful ways and the least effective way is giving questions.
