OBJECTIVE: To assess differences in how orthodontists and laypersons perceive a reduction in dentogingival display on smiling. METHODS: Sixty examiners from both genders (30 laypersons and 30 orthodontists) evaluated photographs of spontaneous smiles of two subjects , one male and one female. Based on the original images, smile height was modified by means of an image manipulation software program. The examiners assigned scores ranging from 0 to 10, according to the level of pleasantness. Method reproducibility was examined using the Wilcoxon test, while the Friedman and Wilcoxon tests (p < 0.05) were employed to observe intra- and interexaminer differences, respectively. RESULTS: No differences were found between the groups of examiners - in terms of esthetics - in response to changes in smile height of both genders . However, men smile had lower acceptability than the women smile. A mild reduction in dentogingival display on smiling (2 mm) was not perceived by either laypersons or orthodontists (p > 0.05). CONCLUSIONS: women smiles achieved higher scores than men smiles however, samples involving a larger number of subjects in each group are required to ensure whether or not this finding is linked to the subjects gender.

Desain penelitian menggunakan quasi eksperiment, pre-test and posttest with control group design. Effect Of Family-Based Education Towards Pregnant Mothers’ Intention to Optimize The Nutrition at 1000 First Day Of LifeAbstractChildren “Golden Period” starts since in the womb until two years after birth. Pregnant mothers and children under five (5) years old are at risk to suffer from micronutrient deficiencies (MNDs), growth problems, intellectual impairment, perinatal complications and increase of morbidity and mortality risks. Therefore pregnant mothers need an education program about proper nutrition for mothers’ and the fetus’ health.Family based education can improve intention to change health behavior. According to Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB, behaviour is influenced by attitudes, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control. Intention in order to change the behavior. The study aimed to identified the effect of family-based education towards pregnant mothers’ intention to optimize the nutrition at 1000 First Day of Life in the working area of Puskesmas Neglasari, BandungResearch design was quasi experiment, pre-test and post-test with control group design. A total of 44 pregnant mothers’ were recruited and divided into intervention and control group. Intervention were conducted three times through home visits. The data were analyzed using Wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney testThe findings showed that there was a significant effect between the family-based education towards pregnant mothers’ intention to optimize the nutrition of 1000 first days of life (p = 0.00). Thus, it is recommended to apply family based education in nursing intervention to improve of mothers and fetus health. Keywords : Family based education, intention, pregnant mothers’, nutrition, 1000 first days of life.

Purpose: to investigate the diagnostic opportunities of contrast  magnetic resonance imaging with the effect of magnetization transfer effect in the diagnosis of focal metastatic lesions in the brain.Materials and methods.Images of contrast MRI of the brain of 16  patients (mean age 49 ± 18.5 years) were analysed. Diagnosis of  the direction is focal brain lesion. All MRI studies were carried out  using the Toshiba Titan Octave with magnetic field of 1.5 T. The  contrast agent is “Magnevist” at concentration of 0.2 ml/kg was  used. After contrasting process two T1-weighted studies were  performed: without T1-SE magnetization transfer with parameters of pulse: TR = 540 ms, TE = 12 ms, DFOV = 24 sm, MX = 320 × 224  and with magnetization transfer – T1-SE-MTC with parameters of pulse: ΔF = −210 Hz, FA(МТС) = 600°, TR = 700 ms, TE = 10 ms,  DFOV = 23.9 sm, MX = 320 x 224. For each detected metastatic  lesion, a contrast-to-brain ratio (CBR) was calculated. Comparative  analysis of CBR values was carried out using a non-parametric  Wilcoxon test at a significance level p < 0.05. To evaluate the  sensitivity and specificity of the techniques in the detection of  metastatic foci (T1-SE and T1-SE-MTC), ROC analysis was used. The sample is divided into groups: 1 group is foci ≤5 mm in size, 2  group is foci from 6 to 10 mm, and 3 group is foci >10 mm. Results.Comparative analysis of CBR using non-parametric Wilcoxon test showed that the values of the CBR on T1-weighted  images with magnetization transfer are significantly higher (p  <0.001) that on T1-weighted images without magnetization transfer. According to the results of the ROC analysis, sensitivity in detecting  metastases (n = 90) in the brain on T1-SE-MTC and T1-SE was  91.7% and 81.6%, specificity was 100% and 97.6%, respectively.  The accuracy of the T1-SE-MTC is 10% higher in comparison with  the technique without magnetization transfer. Significant differences (p < 0.01) between the size of the foci detected in post-contrast T1- weighted images with magnetization transfer and in post-contrast  T1-weighted images without magnetization transfer, in particular for  foci ≤5 mm in size, were found. Conclusions1. Comparative analysis of CBR showed significant (p < 0.001)  increase of contrast between metastatic lesion and white matter on  T1-SE-MTC in comparison with T1-SE.2. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of the magnetization transfer program (T1-SE-MTC) in detecting foci of  metastatic lesions in the brain is significantly higher (p < 0.01), relative to T1-SE.3. The T1-SE-MTC program allows detecting more foci in comparison with T1-SE, in particular foci of ≤5 mm (96% and 86%, respectively, with p < 0.05).

Attachment behaviors are behaviors experienced by children when they would leave their homes and families to join his friends at school he regarded as strangers. This behavior can interfere with the functioning life of the child so that the child can not be independent, and parents should be involved more in the activities of children. The study aimed to determine the effect of economic token therapy for reducing the attachment behavior among Kindergarten Students. The design of this study was quasi experimental with pre and post with control group. By using multistage random sampling and consecutive sampling technique with a total sample of 68 people who experienced attachment behavior. Consisted of 34 peoples as intervention group and 34 peoples as control group. Bivariate analysis using Wilcoxon test and mann-whitney test. The results showed that there were significant differences of attachment behavior before and after entering the token economy intervention in the intervention group compared with those in the control group (p = 0.000). Token economy therapy has positive effect to reduce attachment behavior of kindergarten student at the beginning of learning process in the kindergarten school. The application of economic token is recommended to overcome the attachment behavior of existing preschool children in schools and in the general public health services.   KEY WORDS: Attachment behavior, Token economy, Kindergarten students.
