This study explored the syntactic transfer effect of the non-local subject-verb agreement structure with plural head noun after two intensive phases of input training with event-related potentials (ERP). The non-local subject-verb agreement stimuli with the plural head nouns, which never appeared in training phases, were used for the stimuli. A total of 26 late L1-Chinese L2-English learners, who began to learn English after a critical period and participated in our previous experiments, were asked back to take part in this syntactic transfer experiment. Results indicated that a significant ERP component P600 occurred in the key region (the verb) of the sentences with syntactic violations in the experimental group, but none occurred in the control group. This demonstrated that there was a significant transfer effect of the input training. The possible theoretical explanation was provided and also the malleability of the late L2 learners was discussed.

Nozzle flowmeter is widely used in industry. In this paper, in order to study the influence of different flow rates and inner wall temperatures on the thermal effect and flow field of the nozzle flowmeter, the fluid-solid coupling numerical calculation of the thermal effect and flow field of nozzle flowmeter is carried out under four different flow rates and five different inner wall temperatures. It is found that, with the increase of flow rate, the heat transfer effect of the nozzle flowmeter is weakened under different inner wall temperatures. The pressure distribution in the fluid domain, the dynamic stress, and fluid-induced vibration deformation generated by the fluid of the nozzle flowmeter are less affected by inner wall temperatures.

Melting heat transfer has a vital role in forming energy storage devices such as flexible thin film supercapacitors. This idea should be welcomed in the thin film theoretical models to sustain technological advancement, which could later benefit humankind. Hence, the present work endeavors to incorporate the melting heat transfer effect on the Carreau thin hybrid nanofluid film flow over an unsteady accelerating sheet. The mathematical model that obeyed the boundary layer theory has been transformed into a solvable form via an apt similarity transformation. Furthermore, the collocation method, communicated through the MATLAB built-in bvp4c function, solved the model numerically. Non-uniqueness solutions have been identified, and solutions with negative film thickness are unreliable. The melting heat transfer effect lowers the heat transfer rate without affecting the liquid film thickness, while the Carreau hybrid nanofluid contributes more entropy than the Carreau nanofluid in the flow regime.

With the further development of the social economy, people pay more attention to spiritual and cultural needs. As the main place of people’s daily life, the family is very important to the creation of its cultural atmosphere. In fact, China has fully entered the era of interior decoration, and people are paying more and more attention to decorative effects and the comfort and individual characteristics of decoration. Therefore, it is of practical significance to develop the application of decorative art in interior space design. However, the transfer effect of current interior decoration art design tends to be artistic, which leads to image distortion, and image content transfer errors are easy to occur in the process of transfer. The application of image style transfer in interior decoration art can effectively solve such problems. This paper analyzes the basic theory of image style transfer through image style transfer technology, Gram matrix, and Poisson image editing technology and designs images from several aspects such as image segmentation, content loss, enhanced style loss, and Poisson image editing constrained image spatial gradient. The application process of style transfer in interior decoration art realizes the application of image style transfer in interior decoration art. The experimental results show that the application of image style transmission in interior decoration art design can effectively avoid the contents of the interior decoration errors and distortions and has a good style transfer effect.
